I am disabled and on disability. I stopped at Walmart because I needed a formal outfit for Jury duty. I left my items behind because the worker was rude to me. Marie was rude there was a cart all by it self with clothes I picked up a pair of pants she yelled at me "Why are you in my cart?" The East Main Street, White Hall location is my least favorite. Always something and never an easy in or out. Staff is friendly, bathrooms I would avoid, and stock is for the most part ok. Although some have given this a One-Star review, it's irrational. The prices are low for every one of their services and the product value is well above average . . The only major drawback is the lines. They can be unnerving on the weekends, so I recommend off-peak hours: mornings are best and evening rush hour is the worst and should be avoided. recently bought an item at Walmart online and they gave me a Fedex tracking number, it turns out that it appears as delivered and with a photo of a car like powerwheels, they called and they said to wait 48 hours to request the replacement and now they said no They are going to replace it, we expect the refund in 10 business days. They are good at collecting money, but they are inept when it comes to resolving when they screw up. Today I was in line and this woman in front of me sneezed 3x while looking at the credit card machine. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I've never been treated with such disrespect in my life. My friend and I went in to get a watch battery. After waiting at the jewelry counter for around 15 minutes for someone to help us, we decided to ask 2 ladies working there if someone could help us. Mind you these ladies were standing maybe 20 feet from us talking (more like yelling for the whole store to hear) about what they were doing later that evening. I can't post on here because of the explicit nature. They were there watching us the entire time. So upon asking them if someone was working the counter, they leaned to look around us at the counter and said, "it doesn't look like it." Then proceeded to jump right back into their convo. We then asked if someone could and they proceeded to give us directions to the layaway counter and told us to ask them. Even if the store has something in stock does not mean you will be able to go in and purchase it. Example: i went in to buy some milk and decided I wanted to purchase a extra leash for my dog while I was there. In the pet section where the section for the leash and collars was there was nothing. A week later I went back to look for something and checked the pet department again. Still there was nothing on the shelves. On my way to get the other product I ran into an employee stocking ad different department asked if she could help she went to the back found a shipment that had never been put out and got me the dog leash. One star for this store is based soley on the help that I recieved in the sporting goods department. If it wasn't for the helpfull lady in that department I would have petitioned yelp to chang ethe system to allow 0 stars. My main issue comes with the check out process. Upon entering the line to check out the cashier walked away for no given reason. After 1 minute of waiting I walked towards another register only to be met by the cashier. I asked if anyone was ringing up on this register and she promptly stated "Me, I am but I'm busy". This was unacceptable because her job is to stay at the register and assist with the check out process. If she is unable to do this than she needs to turn off her light so that customers know not to enter her line. After this irritating experience I proceeded to another check out line. I put my things down being the customer in front of me and waited my turn. Once that customer paid the cashier, a different woman than the one before, darted off towards the customer service center yelling someones name. This was weird but I just wanted to get out of the store. After 3 minutes of waiting I started to walk towards another register when she ran back and yelled for me to stay at her register. Reluctantly I stayed at this register while she rang up my two items. I then handed her the cash but before she took it she walked off, again. She talked and laughed with another employee for another minute or so before wandering back to complete my transaction. I was honestly shocked by the whole experience and couldn't work my self up to say anything directly. I considered informing a manager of the quality of service that I had recieved but like many times before I doubt they would even care. We went to the Walmart on East Main Street in Whitehall to purchase Jalan new bras, she had grown out of all of the old ones. We picked out two different size bras to try on, she is a growing girl with an ever-changing body, and proceeded to the dressing room for her to try them on. The young lady promptly advised me that we were unable to take the bras into the dressing room. I asked her how she was supposed to try them on and she said I'm sorry she can't go into the dressing room. Frustrated but determined to purchase the bras I had Jalen take off her jacket in an attempt to try them on over top of her shirt. Wanting to try to make sure they fit I proceeded to have her raise her arms to make sure the bra fit underneath her arm and touch on her chest area to make sure that it fully covered the most important parts. I looked at her face and could see she was embarrassed and humiliated. If she didnt have an urgent need for the garmets I wouldnt have purchased them. Upon leaving I called back to share my feedback on my experience and to find out if this was a company policy. Wouldnt you know it is not a company policy it is unique to this store. I can only interpret this policy as meaning their inventory is more important than providing a safe environment for an 11 year old customer to try on a bra.
