So tired of this store. Went because of the 5th/3rd bank. Picked up a few items. A few of my bags did not make it to my house. When I called them, they accused me of not putting all my bags in my cart. They bagged everything. Now I have to go back another time, to get my items. My Veterinarian faxed a Prescription for my cat today to the Whitehall Kroger on Hamilton Road. It was for an Antibiotic. When we called to find out if the prescription was ready, we were told that they had no prescription on file. We were put on hold, and the tech came back to say that it was sitting on the fax machine the entire time. We were told that it would not be available for pick up that day. However, we were given a phone call and told that it would be ready. This was at around 5:00pm. At 6:15 PM, I showed up at the pharmacy. There was a line of people and I waited 30 minutes just to get to the register and ask for my prescription. At that time, there seemed to be an issue with the prescription. The tech went back and talked to the pharmacist... Extremely loud because I heard the entire conversation. My veterinarian called in a prescription of Amoxicillin Drops for my cat. And I heard the pharmacist say several times that there was no such thing as Amoxicillin Drops. Which is NOT correct!!! I was a pharmacy tech years ago and I know of this medication... Because the word "Amoxi-Drop" is printed on the box!!! I could hear her saying "There is no such thing as "Amoxicillin Drops".... "They don't exist"... YES THEY DO!!!! It's a VERY COMMON Rx for children and animals!!! It's like a Pharmacist telling you that Tylenol doesn't exist!! (PLEASE SEE PHOTO) It's very concerning to me that they have inexperienced Pharmacists that have never heard of an extremely COMMON antibiotic that is prescribed every day!!! Not to mention... this Pharmacist was just flat out rude to everyone. KROGER NEEDS TO VET THEIR PHARMACISTS & FLOATER PHARMACISTS!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Once again... Kroger - This is the medication the Pharmacist said does not exist!! - Grocery Near Me - Whitehall, Ohio

This Kroger is an absolute trash hole. No, I do not recommend this place to ANYONE. Every time I go to this store there is something outrageously wrong with the place. I have been frequenting this grocery store for a long time because it is literally a block from my house. However, I will drive 10 miles to Giant Eagle from here on out. I've had it with this place. If it isn't rotten meat, freezer burnt food items, or not having common goods in stock, then it's the horrible customer service. The managers all have attitude. They are not helpful in the slightest. They are lazy and don't care about this store one bit. Today I walked to the grocery store with a $3 off manufacture coupon for a 90oz or larger Tide product. I get up to the checkout and the lady tells me she's going to have to see if I am allowed to use this coupon. What do you mean see if I am allowed to use it? So after standing there for almost 10 minutes while she goes and tries to find somebody to speak with, she comes back with the customer service manager, and they both tell me I'm not allowed to use that coupon. Why am I not allowed to use that coupon, because corporate told them no one's allowed to use coupons for laundry detergent over $1. That is the most outrageous ridiculous stupid thing I've ever heard. So I can take this coupon to Target or Giant Eagle or any other store and use it, but this store will not allow coupons larger than $1. It's the most absurd thing I've ever heard. Talk about screwing people. I'm done with the store and I'm not ever going back. And I would tell anybody reading this review, don't go in there. It's filthy, and the associates are rude as hell. Oh by the way, I called their corporate, and they tell me there is no such policies. Manufacture coupons are good for their stated value. read more

Whitehall resident 20 years this is the closest Kroger's but half time I'll drive the extra 3 or 4 miles and go to reynoldsburg or Gahanna .. not clean esp bathrooms can be a toxic disaster zone.. customers here I'm sure are high maintenance so they would need monitor and address it more often but seems they don't usually out of twist ties in produce.. one day walked in all the bag racks were empty looked so odd empty bare framed bag holders .. store ran out had paper only. Most workers are pretty good but they've a few that are rude with an annoyed to be there don't bother them attitude. read more

I've been a long time customer of Kroger but when I moved to Whitehall from Dublin, I was shocked at the difference between the store I've shopped at for 22 years on Sawmill Rd and this one on Hamilton. It's not a big deal that the store is much smaller, but the fact that it's filthy, is. I've experienced spoiled meat past it due date on the shelfs, a huge dark and leaky, water damaged ceiling that was dripping water on the food and the floor in the milk & dairy area and shopping carts full of items that need restocked by staff, filling and entire lane in the front of the store, blocking any customers from getting any items or even shopping in this area of the store. Good luck if you try to purchase deodorant here.... Cashiers are also rude and expect you to scan your own groceries, even if you've been waiting in line to have a paid cashier ring out a half a cart, full of items, way too many items for self checkout. I don't work at Kroger and I don't plan on ringing up my own groceries anytime soon, that's what cashiers get paid to do there, that's their job, not mine. Thank goodness I'll be moving back to Dublin soon and I'll be able to shop at my favorite Kroger on Sawmill again, but in the meantime, I'll be shopping at Kroger in Reynoldsburg or on Sawmill when I go to Dublin a couple times a month. This Kroger location is the worst grocery store I've even been in and I won't be back. Shoppers beware. read more

Considering all that's going on, everyone was very friendly. The store was clean and well stocked. Fresh baked goods, plenty of meat and fresh vegetables. The aisles are a little narrow but it was honestly no problem. I'll shop here again read more

Was treated very rudely by a thin black lady with glasses. I didn't have that many items in my cart and she rudely asked me to get in a much longer line cause I had maybe 18 items in my cart. And the way she spoke to me was very rude!!!!!!!! Almost left my cart there and walked out of the store. I always shop at this kroger, but will probably start going to the Gahanna Kroger. read more

As a long-time Kroger shopper, I was extremely disappointed with my experience here on 11/28/16. I was stopped very rudely by the security guard as I was leaving the store. She asked me what I had in my hand, pretty much accusing me of stealing for no good reason. I left the store empty-handed, with the exception of my cell phone and car keys, because they didn't have the item I wanted. Maybe they have a problem with theft at this location. Whatever the case, I certainly did not appreciate being treated like a criminal and will not be back. read more

This is by far one of the worst and unprofessional stores I've been to. I won't be coming to this location and will go to the one on Broad St. This store is literally down the street where I live so it's convenient. I was in the U Scan line for ten minutes with only one item. Out of six machines, only three were working but the lines were so long in there. The customer service was loud and tacky and non patient. Some were even snappy with the guests. As I finally get to the checkout scanner, I enter my info and scan my item. Since it was an age restricted item, of course they had to check my ID. When the rep was trying to put in her employee ID, the system wasn't taking it. She was trying her best but the other rep who was loud and obnoxious tried her ID and hers didn't work. So with a loud voice, she told everyone that the U Scan systems just crashed and to get out of line and go to the regular lines with an attitude. So I left my item and said I'll go to another store. Floors weren't mopped, they were filthy, I even saw spilled items underneath shelves when walking out. I truly believe that whoever is managing this store doesn't care about the upkeep of the store. I'm in a good mood today and I know someone from corporate however, I will let them know this is not the Kroger way. Very disappointed indeed read more

Given it's location in town, it actually has a fairly decent selection. They just improved the store on the inside, but only by adding a new liquor store. the two stars off comes for their customer service, which is pretty poor. They constantly have mistakes on checkout, for which we waste an extra half hour waiting in their "customer service" line to get the mistake refunded. At least they started a new policy where if you are mis-charged you get the item free (first item if buying multiples). Check your receipts! read more

I love this Krogers, they just remodeled this past year. There is a lot more room for your grocery cart down the lanes and Isles. They also have a wide selection liquor store inside the store. They also have a Fifth Third Bank. Kroger also has new apps for your smartphone for coupons. They are so fast ,friendly and efficient at this Krogers I never stand in line more than a few minutes. They always have everything in stock. It's always a nice shopping experience. read more

This Kroger is very close to my house so that makes it very convenient for late night snack runs (assuming that Main Street is dead). The interior is kept pretty clean although I've noticed many empty areas in the produce section, even during the day. No biggie, must just mean the price was good. The real down fall is the limited selection/lack of choice in some sections and the inconvenience (read: traffic lights) of coming to this location. Corporate should just close this store. Bought two products today that were not past their sell by date but were spoiled and moldy. Food safety is not taken seriously at this location. The seafood section always reeks, produce is mislabeled (if you don't know the difference between artichokes and rhubarb maybe you shouldn't work at a grocery store), and staff are not even close to friendly. Management needs to be fired and staff retrained. I live within walking distance but will be driving to gahanna for groceries now. read more

Iv been in there three times in the past two weeks and I haven't waited in line at all.

I'm going to have to go with one star here. The reasons Being that for one, they are very overpriced.... two, you half to play hours worth of games trying to figure out how to get things on sale and what combination of what you can make to try to get 5 or 10 items to make the savings. I live by myself, I don't need 10 freaking jugs of milk! I don't have room and north to most people Kroger! Three, half the time you need to buy five of something to make it $.88, it won't say so. It was just say $.88 on the majority of the signs except supposedly, one small sign somewhere will have small print thing otherwise, and you won't know you got screwed until you look at your receipt at home (which by the way is like hieroglyphics to read!) and when you finally do figure out the ridiculously confusing receipt and realize that you got screwed, then you have to save the receipt and stand in a long line at customer service to try to get your money back and have to fight like hell because they don't even know what the price was supposed to be last week. What a damn mess! Four, literally every single time I go, they are out of one of the main things that I went there for, so then I always had to stop at the second store until now, and that is because now I have decided to forgo Kroger's completely and just use another store which cost far less money, and causes me far less aggravation. read more

I have to give it to this Kroger's managers for their service to us today. My church ordered some baked chicken for a repast after a funeral today. For some unknown reason the chicken was not done on time. I can only guess because we had such a big snow storm today. The manager himself delivered the chicken to the church before the family got back from the cemetery. He also gave us 3 pound creme cakes a no charge. I am so pleased with him going completely out of his way to deliver this food on a blizzard like day we had. He deserves a medal. We said we will certainly continue our business with this store. I must the baked chicken was delicious. So was the cake, even though my diet does not call for it I had a thin sliver. I do thank them so much for the great service. Some one knows what customer service is now a days. Not everyone does. 5 stars for out of the way service, minus one for order not being done at original pick-up time. read more
