Does anyone drive by a Walmart and not go in? We have to visit new Walmarts. I had no clue where I was, but I was excited. The food layout was like most Walmarts. There were several pumpkin displays. Since we were visiting on National Pumpkin Day, it seemed appropriate. The employees were approachable and nice. The Christmas items were already on display. I used the self check out. read more

Keeps their $5 tail light bulbs locked in a case. That way, when its Sunday night and you need one, you'll get to walk all the way in the back corner, look at the bulb you want to buy, then walk out because there are no 'sales associates' around. Place is such a dump btw. Rigged. read more

While leaving an employee hit my car mirror with her car door very hard then proceeded to curse me out for multiple minutes. This is at the East York location. She was going into work and in her uniform. It was around 4 pm on October 24th. She was about 5'3 with brown hair brown eyes and braces. She was completely out of line and obviously forgot how to treat paying customers. It's very disappointing since I come to this location almost everyday. She obviously needs retraining and possibly anger management classes. When I tried to call in to let her managers know the phone wasn't picked up. It is unbelievable that she had the audacity to yell at me after she hit my car in her uniform. It doesn't give this branch a good look. read more

Avoid order fulfillment errors. Use delivery drivers who have better navigation skills. Develop a system to place the burden of coordinating replacement orders on Walmart rather than the customer. This is a serious issue, one that may well be cause for customers to not renew their Plus membership. I subscribed for the delivery service and to avoid having to deal with the unpleasant stuff and poor conditions at your York store. read more

Extremely poor experience. I usually go to the Shrewsbury location because it is cleaner and better staffed but I live closer to this one so since I only needed a few items I decided to run in. Horribly stocked. Unclean. I got my 17 items (I counted and I'm happy to show my reciept) and went to go to the speed line, which was the only staffed line open and took 20 items or less, just for the elderly dark haired lady in line 7 to the line to yell over at me saying "You better have less than 20 items" to which I said "Me?" And she said "Yeah you" and I said "I think I have 15" to which she responds with rolling her eyes and "Yeah you better have less than 20". So I got out of line and went to self checkout because there was no way I was going to be talked to like that in front of my kids. Call me old fashioned but god forbid people have to do their jobs and god forbid I want to be able to have my groceries bagged for me so that my 2 year old can be watched the whole time instead of me having to bag and monitor her. It shouldn't take another customer offering to help me with my kids and my 17 items at the poorly staffed self checkout area where only half of the lanes are working and even less are accepting all forms of payment. The ONLY good part of my trip was when I was at the service desk returning an item before I left one of the workers came over and gave my kids stickers. read more

This Walmart was absolutely disgusting. The store was in shambles, with absolutely no organization anywhere. Everything was thrown in random places and a lot of the shelves were empty. There were random carts all over the aisles making it impossible to pass another cart in an aisle, which led to several traffic jams. But the worst part was that there were employees all over but they were doing nothing. Absolutely nothing. I even saw a group of them just chatting and doing nothing to clean the place. I work at a grocery store and if my manager saw the aisles like that I would probably get fired. Overall, this store was gross, very disorganized, and just not fun to shop at. Please take your business somewhere else and if the employees of that Walmart see this, you guys need to actually do your job. read more

Worst Walmart I've ever been in. Place is disorganized. Clothing not folded. Nothing seems to be in the right place, everything strewn about. Nothing made sense were products were placed. Employees have less brain cells than my dog after eating a chocolate bar. If you need to get your self esteem boosted I definitely recommend going to this Walmart, but if you want to go to a functioning store, I recommend going to the target that is about 5 minutes away instead. read more

Let me start out by saying I dislike Wal-Mart for a variety of reasons. In my lifetime I've been to several though. I will say having been to this one twice already it's not as bad as some others. I know that's giving kudos for mediocrity at best, but it's true. The parking is like them all...a zoo. Typical Wal-Mart people inside. It's as if they breed and pro-create from within the store. Organic food selection is awful, but then again I didn't expect much. Great deals though on baby clothes. Scored two sleepers for $5. They also carry the chemical free diapers I buy and the wipes too. The price is better than Wegman's, but not substantially. I've only been through self-checkout. The lines moved fairly quickly. I had to ask for employee assistance once and received the help I needed. I also called in once to verify if they carried a product. That experience to was fine too. For a Wal-Mart you could do a lot worse. This location is tolerable. read more

Now I wouldnt normally write a review on Walmart, but this time I will make an exception. This day started out as any normal trip to Walmart, I need multiple things and I can normally get everything I need for a good price. I am just starting to shop at walmart again having move here from Boston, where we don't have Walmart in the center of the city. I guess I needed sometime to readjusted to living in the Burbs because I am shocked at the limited selection that they had available for ethnic food. Absolutely the worst WalMart. Had only 4 employee registers open at 6:30 on 12/11/20 & the lines were long. You would think the management would have staffed more & trained the employees on how to remove those security wraps from electronic items, which the employee had not a clue on how to remove them. She had 2 items and both times she called for help on how to get them off, holding up the lines while she fuddled around with each one, for about 5-8 minutes. Having 3inch finger-nails didn't help either. The store was a complete mess, looking like a herd of wild elephants when through it, nothing on the shelves and un-loaded skids parked on the sales floor with no one in sight to un-pack them. I will never return to that store again, due to the poor management, staffing problems and lack of inventory. I know it's Pamdemic time during a holiday season, but no big box store should look like this,,,no excuse what so ever if the management team is on the ball, which they are not! read more

Since the whole pandemic, we put off shopping at Walmart. Once we went green, we decided to go back. Let's face it, one stop shopping is so convenient. Unless things change, we will not be back. Even though it is posted everywhere for face masks, they did not enforce it. Even some of the employees were not wearing them or they had them on their chins! I had the mishap of falling flat on my back because there was water (hopefully that is what it was) laying on the floor. Employee did nothing! no clean up, no caution sign, no nothing! Get up to the cashier and even though they have big circle stickers showing where to stand, no one was doing that or the fact that they had lanes side by side open. The cashier (seriously) asks me if I want her to clean the belt!!! YES!!!!!! I now see these commercials saying how Walmart is mandating masks, cleaning.... What you need is to hire people who overlook this daily in every store! Let me just add, I ONLY ever do good reviews! Since I worked in retail for 15 years, I get how hard it is. But, I could not just look the other way on this experience. Please -- if you are serious as your commercials show, prove it! I do not like my rights being taken away all because someone doesn't like wearing a mask or says they have health issues. bottom line is - its your store - MANDATE MASK WEARING AND DISTANCING ALONG WITH SANITATION! read more

I love this Walmart. The atmosphere is impeccable. The people are unique and full of fun and flavor. They have wonderful items for prices you just can't beat. The garden section is beautiful and I have picked up some very nice plants from there as well as some outdoor furniture. Some people set their expectations too high for Walmarts, but I choose not to. This is One of The most ridiculous Walmarts I've seen Yet! They have product blocking the isles their inventory is horrible. The shelf's are empty and not stocked AT ALL. What the do Have it's just hanging on the shelf and product just laying on the shelf or floor nothing is organized properly. To top it off the customer service is horrible they are rude and talk about there's person life in front of customers. YOU ARE BETTER OF SHOPPING AT TARGET!! Or Even AMAZON!!! read more

This store is horrible. By far the worst Walmart I have ever shopped at. Why? The employees. They absolutely, completely, do not care about anything. Obviously I am grouping them together - but as a general rule this is true. I am sure there is someone who works there that cares, but they are far far outnumbered by the zombies collecting a paycheck. DO NOT EVER get a delivery from this store - they lie, they steal, they do not show up. It will be an exercise in futility. Want to shop in store? There will be literally over a hundred people trying to check out - most self checkouts will be open (with huge lines) and ONE regular register will be open. THEY WILL NOT open another line. Call corporate to complain - oh guess what? They do not care either! This store actually made me stop shopping at Walmart altogether. The "low prices" are simply not worth it. Dump, absolute dump. Pulled into the parking lot, a woman was changing her kid's diaper on the hood of the car. She threw the shitty diaper ON THE GROUND instead of the trash can literally 5 feet away. Employee who was retrieving the carts saw this and did nothing. just walked right by it. I'm not a big fan of Wal-Mart in general, but this one has really friendly employees. I've had a couple issues with items I've bought here, but they've always handled my concerns with due respect and have taken care of the problems promptly. read more

The only reason I am putting this as a lowest possible review is because we just gave the ids thier xmas gifts since we were away. Since we just had this huge snowstorm and they needed things to do, it was the perfect time to give them their new items. We gave our 15 yr. old son a video game he asked for. When he opened the box, he found a blank (philips cd - r) inside instead of a video game disk. We called walmart and were told that because they have a 15 day return policy, we would not be able to exchange the item. Very poor customer service!!! Now... if I get a return message saying that this will be rectified, I may change this rating. Thank you! read more
