The chicken wings were so overcooked there was no meat in them. And you literally couldn't eat the white meat. I brought it back and all they would give me was half of my money back. Because I didn't have that much chicken with me. People were getting it and throwing it away. What was I supposed to do? They were trying to eat it. It just was too tough and dry. I go in and get harassed by whatever they have working in the toy department I'm sitting there one day looking for a gift for my 4 year old and their worker asked if I was ok I told him yeah then proceeded to try and hug me and it happens almost every time I go in by myself. And their janitor or whatever he does is rude and terrible. I had an upset stomach and needed the bathroom he was only sweeping and I asked if I could use the bathroom quickly tells me no and to use the bathroom in the back and I informed him that I wouldn't make it and pretty much told me oh well fuck off and I said that I'll use the men's room and he told me that he could give two shits what I do. Poor shopping experience. Cashier didn't know what she was doing . Told me the register wouldn't accept my check because it was over the limit. I was so mad I told her I wanted my check back and left everything at the store.when I got home realized that employee didn't enter the correct amount and it was her fault. This is medical clinic at Walmart Zion should not have a license to practice. This location is not open the hours they are posting! They are closing early on multiple days but have not informed the public. I drove an hour to this location today to get needed medical help, only to find it was closed early, but their posted hours haven't been changed to alert the public. This business is totally irresponsible and it's not fulfilling its obligation to the public. Why does a business like this think it can treat the public so frivolously? You're in the medical business, it's a serious business, you would think you would treat it as such! I'm very disappointed in the clinic at Walmart and I don't know if I could ever trust one of your locations again. This Wal-Mart is an average Wal-Mart. Their parking lots are huge so it's not that hard to find parking. Although, when it's busy, you may have to park a little farther but look on the bright side: you get your exercise! I was actually impressed with this Wal-Mart just because it was very tidy and well-maintained inside and the longs were surprisingly fast. I originally came in here to get some allergy medicine and I was able to find it quickly. If you want to get your nails done, they have a nail shop here and also if you want your pet to be groomed, they have services for that here. read more

This is by far the worst Walmart in America!! They cannot get a grocery order right to save your souls. I have stopped their service and my last order was so jacked up where the driver picked up a gallon of fabuloso in place of laundry detergent- how dumb is this?!?! Does the driver shop because I got 3 wrong items and 1 right item in a 20 item delivery- really? Then told I would be reimbursed- great customer service? Wrong!!!! I am so disappointed every time I have to shop at this Walmart. It is nearest to my house. It is often the only option I have, and it is the biggest, most frustrating part of my day when I have to shop here. We all know that Walmart is A money making machine. But we are victims to the understaffing or under trained staff members here. Managers that never check on the workload of their staff or the line in their customer service department customer service professionals who never make eye contact with the nine people waiting in line for a simple transaction. Customer Service employees that never pick up the phone or the radio and demand assistance from a supervisor or a fellow staff member. Promote Heather and take instruction from your pharmacy. The pharmacy is eager to please and informed and responsive even when they are swamped. Corporate should get their butts over here and take a look at the store and fix it. It's an outrage. read more

First, this is a store that isn't upper crust but I have not felt a problem here day or night. The store itself is a piece of work, though, with stock issues. Decidedly disappointed by your Zion, Illinois store. In four below zero weather I drove there (wasted nearly two hours) to buy a Sunbeam heated throw that was supposedly in stock (Walmart #: 564036091). I found a throw on the shelf where that was supposed to be but it was $10 more expensive. After a considerable wait at the checkout a customer service manager came and he confirmed the higher price. We went to the store display and determined that the "correct" item was supposed to be there but wasn't although it was shown in stock. It could not be located in the back or elsewhere in the store. Wasted time and money going to a store that didn't have what it said it had (and still says it had). Deceptive advertising and customer service that could be better. read more

The young lady that is a manger, she's very unprofessional. They check your bags as you leave the store with products you buy off line and because there scanners doesn't say anything about the purchase they give you a hard time and talk to you like you're stupid. The manger needs to learn how to treat people/customers. I will now travel to a different Walmart this is ridiculous. read more

Let's face it. It's pretty hard to find people that haven't been to Walmart. Many moons ago, I remember driving from Chicago to St. Louis, and you knew you hit another town when you saw yet another Walmart. If you are on the Internet at all (and I'm assuming you are, since you are reading this) chances are you've seen the many memes out there featuring some of this company's more... Ehm... Notorious customers. That being said, I enjoy writing reviews, and I lack the type of income that will allow me to simply visit every fine dining establishment near and far. I have a normal, ho-hum life, and this life necessitates a trip to Walmart fairly regularly. Now I know what someone out there is thinking. Go to Target! It's higher end! Less trashy! Now, while I love a good Target trip (as I am fairly certain there is something in the air in their stores which causes a woman's ovaries to tingle in just such a way that makes one desire to buy ALL THE THINGS) I usually head to Walmart as it's closer, and less expensive etc etc etc. NOW on to THIS Walmart in particular. It is one of the smaller ones in the area, so sometimes I feel like the Gurnee location, for example, may have a slightly larger selection. The Zion location was recently remodeled, however, so it really isn't that bad. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know I moved here from Chicago, and I am here to tell you that the Zion location, on it's worst day, is still infinity more tolerable than any store bordering the city on its best. At other locations, I may as well sit in a corner and rock back and forth sobbing softly to myself if I find myself in need of assistance. People at this location are generally willing to help (look for me somewhere in grocery, trying desperately to reach something on a top shelf. Very amusing, I promise!) and tend to walk around with less of that dead stare needed to avoid making eye contact with customers while walking around. Cashiers are typically friendly as well, which is nice when, like me, you have a ridiculously large order. (I have a cashier whom I have an ongoing conversation with, she remembers me by the amount of half and half I buy: thankfully, it's not something like anti-itch cream!) As with any other Walmart ever, there are pretty much only 2 registers ever open (not counting express or self checkout... If you are only grabbing a thing or two, you stand a much better chance of getting out quickly!) and on a busy day, the typical game of bumper cars ala shopping carts may be enough to head for the liquor aisle. But there is plenty of parking (if you are like me and willing to walk) and really, if you are in need of lots of oddball things, Walmart is probably the closest thing to a one stop shop. read more

I want to express my complete disgust with the Auto center here!!! I was in the Zion location on 11/5/17 to get 4 tires. When I was finally serviced after the cashier Samantha was LATE for work (I was there at 9am when the store opened) the supervisor (African American male) was trying to assist customers. I asked Samantha did they have the Goodyear Assurance Authority tires in stock and she stated "yes". They take my car to be serviced. When I received my car from the service, I had 3 Goodyear Assurance Authority tries and 1 Goodyear Viva All-Season tire. I did not ask for Viva All-Season tires, because Samantha said they were sold out. Now how in the hell, did they magically find 1 tire? Samantha charged me the full price of the Goodyear Assurance Authority $121 (x4) and didNOT credit me the $89 for the bogus tire that they put on my car and didNOT notify me that they were doing so. Nor did Samantha or the AA supervisor apologize for this mess up. They made me feel as if they trying to be deceitful in their actions and avoiding my questions when I asked why this happened and why wasn't I notified prior to them putting the Viva All-Season on my car (hell they had their money, why not ask the PAYING CUSTOMER). They just blew me off and were running around like chickens with their heads cut off!! The AA Supervisor states he would call the Waukegan store to find a tire and call me (his customer service skills sucked tremendously and never apologized for their mistake or ask how can he fix it). I never got a call!! I had to call to store and reached Samatha who lied and said, "they were trying to call me"! Total bull! I ask to speak to the store manager, because this was becoming ridiculous unprofessional and not very customer service like. I speak to a Mike and he tries to find out what happened. He tells me that he ran the cameras and saw that they pulled the 4 Goodyear Assurance Authority tires, but the tire person made a mistake and put on the wrong tire (Viva All-Season). I requested a full credit of the wrong tire and he told me that Kody (sp) the tire manager said he could credit me $60!!!!! Unacceptable and how are you coming up with that price?!! You owe me $121 for that mess up that YOUR INCOMPETENT team did and the inconvenience of me having to come back to the store TODAY to rectify something that could have been corrected yesterday! Oh yeah, I was told that the tire manger is the only one that can go get tires. Kody was off. Why didn't Mike the store manger go get the tire and correct their error ASAP!!! Also, while I was there an employee just walked off the job!! Terrible, terrible location and to think they came highly recommended from a loyal customer. Don't waste your time there! Let's hope they correct their mistake today!! The tires were so different Ray Charles could see that. I guess, they thought they would pull a fast one me, because I'm a female and maybe wouldn't notice it. If I could give this store a zero I would do so. The reason for this low rating is the fact that this store stops paying customers who have just checked out at the registers and asks to see and check their receipts. I have asked why they do this and I have been told as a "PRECAUTION." A precaution?? I had been a regular customer. Is this the way to treat regular paying customers??? If they are looking for shoplifters, why not pay more attention to who is shopping in the store with shoppers and security? It is offensive to treat customers in such a manner. This Walmart is the ONLY store in the area that has such a practice. Shop elsewhere where you are appreciated as a paying customer instead of insulted by being stopped as you leave the check outs. The deli here is laughable!! I have sat for 15 minutes with two deli workers just looking at me and two other customers as if we are not waiting for them to help us.. it's ridiculous!! There is no caring or pride in the job they do have. Apparently, me needing deli food at the deli counter they WORK at is not high on their list of things to do.. standing around making small talk and looking at the waiting customers is more entertaining to them!! read more

The old fat white ladies that are titled as "Greeters" never stand up and actually greet you. Most recent visit my family and I came in and my 22 month old waves and said hello. He's learning to speak and greet people. The RUDE old hags ignored my child and the look of hurt on a 22 month olds face is something that is heartbreaking. On the way out my husband chatted with our son so he would be distracted while the ladies ignored us while we left - which still happened , all three gathered together chatting and ignoring customers. Not to mention, i think it's company policy to check receipts if there are large items outside of bags....so I guess my gigantic box of diapers, pack of water and new pack and play under all of my groceries didn't phase them. I wonder how many will actually did steal that day due to all three bags ignoring customers. I usually don't get nasty in reviews, but the way they ignored a child, not an ounce of respect will be given. CHANGE TOUR GREETERS TO PEOPLE WHO CAN STAND AND ACTUALLY DO THEIR JOB!!!! Definitely the least stocked and unkempt of the Wal*Marts in Kenosha, WI and Racine, WI. The real issue I have is the employees. I've worked years in retail and as someone who knows what customers want and how to speak to them, I can really say that even the good customers are not acknowledged at all. It's impossible to ever find someone in Electronics and even more impossible to see more than 3 lanes open at once. I'm glad the new Meijer is opening. Who hires the employees that work at this store? I went to get some lunch before going to work. I go to the Deli and an African American that works behind the counter walk up to me and just stairs at me. Not even a hello or how can I help you. I mean this guy looked as if he just hated the world or just anyone who wanted help. He really made me feel uncomfortable. Guess I was disturbing his rap game from the young girl he was talking to. This was the 2nd time this has happened to me. Wanted to give them a second chance. Won't be going back and will definitely tell friends and family about this store. If you are ordering online and go to the store for pick-up, you are going to get frustrated. This store has the worst personal in that dept and if you go after 7pm you can count on NO ONE being around to help. I went there last Friday night to pick up a air bed that I had ordered online. Yes it was there the next day and ready for pick up. So, I go to the back of the store by electronics to get my stuff. 2 associates guy and girl where back there talking. I asked if they could help me, He says I am on brake and cant or else I will get in trouble. He starts to walk away and the girl ask him aren't you going to help her. No I am on brake. He walks away and she goes back in the warehouse. I press the help button and wait and wait. He comes back and says someone in electronics can help you. So I go to electronics and there is NO ONE there either. 4 associates pass me by just talking to each other. After 15 minutes and no one shows I go to customer service. I wait in line for another 10 minutes and there is only one person in front of me. I told associate that I already paid for this online and I took it off the shelf in pick up cause I knew it was mine. Told him there was no one back there and I was leaving. NO NO you cant do that I will get manager for you. 5 minutes later manager shows up and we walk back to pick up dept. There is an associate helping a customer that doesn't remember what she ordered but is there to pick up. After 20 minutes with her and when I went back there with manager which told the associate just check me out cause I have been waiting long enough. He doesn't and manager leaves. Now after 20minutes it is my turn and I give him my drivers license and order number. He cant find it in the computer and says don't know what to do. I tell him get me a manager. He goes to electronics and calls one. 3 minutes later manager shows up and says I can help you what is the problem. After trying to check out for 45min with this store I lost it. I told him I am walking out here is my order number and name. I have had it with this store. Manager didn't care and associates don't give a dang what is going on. Do not order online and go there to pick up anything. They have their heads up there unknowns! I would give this place a minus 10 if I could. read more

I bought a set of tires for our motorhome at a Walmart in Iowa, and subsequently had numerous problems, including having one set of duallys nearly come off because the lug nuts all loosened up! As we were getting ready to leave Winthrop Harbor, and head back to Iowa, I noticed the inside rear tire on the drivers side was flat, but I couldn't get to the valve stem to even try to put air in it. This was the closest Walmart, so I came and explained my situation. Hayward, the service supervisor on duty, got us in immediately. Turns out, the duallys were put on backward, hence the valve stem problem, and the inside stem was cracked and leaking, hence the flat. I can't say enough about how quick and efficient they were at getting us squared away and back on the road. All at no charge! I haven't always had the best experience at Walmart, but these fine folks were outstanding! read more

I am tired of the poor customer service that store has I have worked in retail for several years and right now the store I work at does not take likely to customers not being taken care of.Employees are poorly trained and could care less if they wait on customers.This is the last time I will go there to buy products I have been turned away the last three times I was there leaving without my purchase.Even asked an employee for help and they muttered something out the side of their mouth and kept walking.Looks like they are only concerned with standing in aisles in the way and talking or using their cell phone.Wonder if anyone else has issues with Walmart thinking this is the only place to shop well it is not. read more

So today my TV broke and I bought a new one online at walmart is was in store for free pick up today so it said at 805 pm it would be ready . well when i got to the store to pick it up it was 917 pm and the girl still had not pulled the order so she went to look for it and then came back with it but when she went to scan it for release it to me it would not let her or the man that helped he called someone and he said it takes an hour for the package to show up for pick up so now I have to sit here for an hour witch is compleat BS!!!
