big fan. Come after 2 PM that's where all the moms are departing to go get their kids so it's not as crowded. Love the store. I always get those rotisserie chickens whether I need it or not I guess I'll put the other food I bought earlier in the freezer. I really should pick up the freezer here. I need more space..

I'm a big fan of Costco, and this one is really good! How good can Costco be? Here are a couple of things that stood out to me as unusually good: -It is better organized than typical. The layout is intuitive and easy to maneuver. -The store is very efficient. I was able to get thru checkout line in short order. -Not as busy as I'm used to for a Saturday afternoon. -Same great prices. -Same great rotisserie chicken, but no wait time! (and twice the size and half the price of your grocery store rotisserie : ) - My only beef with Costco is they don't accept the Discover card. Highly recommended!

I know for fact I had reviewed this Costco before but somehow again my review has disappeared. I just don't like having to type everything again. Anyway, Costco in Mettawa, is a great place to shop for food items, Eyewear and more. I like their variety of the different items they carry, their quality & pricing and good service. I am a fan of their delicious rotisserie chicken (only $4.99), pre-made dishes (reheat & eat), snacks options, bakery goods, and clothings variety. I enjoy shopping here and definitely recommend going here to anyone who lives near it. It's worth being their member.

My van was serviced at Costco tire repair on July 6. My two children, my husband, and I were driving to Montana for a family vacation on July 11 when we heard a loud screeching noise from the van tires. My van's passenger front tire rolled off when I was driving. And my van almost flipped over, but I managed to stop it. The opposing driver's side steering wheel fell off and was never I received a letter from you claiming that your investigation was concluded and that you were unable to assign culpability to Costco. Unfortunately, the tire service was insufficient because my van tire rolled off the road when we were on our way to vacation, and the service was not performed properly. This decision has not made me happy. Why did the tire suddenly roll off the road if Costco tire service was flawless? We would have died if we hadn't been able to stop it.

They are all out of prepackaged salads today! And they are not making anymore of the mini cran orange bisconie until December 1st! These cookies are amazing, soft and chewy! You get 12 of them for $5.99! I can't get enough of these cookies! Can't wait until December 1st, I will be there at 9 am! Even though they have senior hours from 9 am - 10 am Monday to Friday, I suggest you go around 9:30 or so cause there's a huge line at 9! There's a self checkout which is awesome during this pandemic, they are not touching any of my items! Thank you Costco!

Best source for everyday food, both fresh and frozen. I get a lot of vitamins, hair stuff and cleanliness items.

Hire more staff. When I spend $1,000 in a store I don't expect to be checked out by a hostile cashier and forced to pack my own cart

What you get verses what you order. Not at all happy with my second horribly decorated cake (I thought the first one may have been a fluke)

It appears to be a bigger store than the other Costcos I go to (Schaumburg and Lake Zurich), plus, it was hardly crowded the night I went (7:45 pm).

If I could give no stars, I would. Horrible customer service. I had trees removed from a property…read morein Evanston and contacted Horigan to have one of the trees milled and dried for a table. The tree removal company wanted to deliver the logs at the end of the day. Bruce the co-owner told me something could be arranged, but then Erika told me the logs would have to be delivered by 3PM. Then there was the deposit. Initially, I was told I would pay $200 in their application. Then Erika sent me a text saying I needed to pay $300, then when I spoke on the phone with her she said I would need to pay half the full cost, which was $500. I had no problem paying half, but it felt shady that the price kept changing. When I brought up how the price changed, Erika told me it was because I changed my mind on having them create the entire table. I reminded her that I was only getting the table top done because she said she didn't have a carpenter that could create a wood base for the table so I would have to go with a heavy iron base they provide that I didn't want and pay $5000 for the privilege. She then told me quite rudely to take my business elsewhere. Mind you, the logs have been cut down and are sitting with tree guys. Not to mention, I'm in Hawaii on vacation with a child and wife who have tested positive for Covid. Erika did not care. She was rude and mean, didn't care one bit about my business or my predicament. Bottomline, Horigan doesn't have much competition in Northern Chicago so they treat customers like crap. I warn anyone considering them to take their business to Southern Chicago mills like Nicholson where they understand customer service and don't have anti-social personalities abusing customers.

He described the process in which the wood was collected, how it was cut, dried, and eventually came to the store. We got a history lesson on the whole thing. The service could not have been better.
