Then I called this location and the manager ensured I got what I wanted. I must stress that he went ABOVE AND BEYOND what any of the other stores would do. I had almost given up when I spoke to him and he made my day & my Christmas. His kindness and cooperation is indicative of a great manager & something other managers should emulate. Canadian Tire isn't known for their customer service, but I wish this store was on the lower mainland. Attitude filters down & I can't help but believe his store is different from most other Canadian Tires stores.

It has nice moderately priced stores such as Winners, Home Outfitters and Old Navy. It has a Montana's restaurant, library and ice rink as well as a Cineplex. It's a great mall if your looking for essentials at an affordable price. It's also a nice and quiet mall that usually isn't busy. It also has good parking if your to spend the day shopping and the 11 bus makes it very easy for you to reach this mall from any part of Victoria or Oak Bay.

There is also a Cineplex across the parking lot as well as a library and ice rink. It truly has everything in this one area and I think people take it for granted. Yes, more restaurants and leased space would be ideal as some spaces in the mall are empty and there really is only an A&W and Edo Japan. The elevators are very large and easy to fit a scooter into because they open at both ends. Parking is plentiful at this location, both indoor and out. The best wheelchair parking was indoors, but I preferred to park in the spot by the Starbucks. What I don't like is how hard it is to get a wheelchair into the bathroom, the hallway was tight and it was awkward to get past people going in/out other stalls to reach the wheelchair accessible stall. Be prepared to wait or go as soon as you get to the store so you're not in a rush.

One sales associate who gets the official title of Canadian Karen, was having a bad day. She did not want to help my friend and she was rude. She claimed she could not pull the dress off the mannequin because it was "too heavy" and it cost $20k so she didn't want to break the mannequin(?). Anyway, I was disappointed because I could tell where the root of her actions stemmed. I met my first Karen in person. I had to speak with her. I let her know she is the first person in Victoria that was rude. I said I realize that you are about to be unemployed, but that is no reason to be rude.

hello fellow reviewers! today i had a horrendous experience…read morewhile shopping here. when i was trying to leave the store through the door where my vehicle was parked, the lady said we needed to leave but refused to u lock the door for us. had to walk to the complete other side of the store just to be told once again to leave immediately when that's what i was trying to do. once i arrived outside at the other side of the mall, the same lady then proceeded to open the door for two other people who were parked where i was after i got declined to do so. lady was very rude and bias. not happy with who they've been hiring recently.

This location is located as an anchor in the Bay Centre City Mall in downtown Victoria. It is two levels, with a large men's department downstairs. The set-up is very similar to Marshalls, with name brand discounted clothing and clearance items scattered throughout. With the 28% discount in the currency rates, I was able to find a good deal on men's socks. Something to definitely consider if you are running out of sundries and don't want to (or can't) do laundry on a long trip visiting this beautiful city. One observation: the checkout line is the same set-up as Marshalls, where there is one winding queue, and you are called to the next open register once you are at the front. And the automated voice that calls you, is the exact same one as the one used at Marshalls and TJMaxx.
