We finally settled on an LG model as she told us it had the features we were looking for. Trail's own spec sheet also supported this statement. So, all good, arranged delivery, paid ($2500) and left happy. The unit was delivered a couple weeks later, the delivery went smoothly but, because we were replacing a gas oven we couldn't plug it in until the gas line was capped by a certified gas-fitter. They could have mentioned this in advance as Tracy knew what we were replacing. So, the guys left, we arranged for a gas-fitter, got the line capped a couple days later and finally were able to test out our new range which we soon discovered did NOT have convection options on both ovens after-all - just the bottom one. When I emailed Tracy with my concern, she responded by saying that the LG model we chose doesn't have convection in both ovens (even though she told us it did when we bought it) and attached the full owners manual as a pdf to prove it. Now of course this annoyed me as both she and the docs she showed us in-store before we bought it, said it was dual convection. That's why we bought it! If she had doubts about what she was saying then she could of reviewed the user manual before we bought it and which of course we didn't have access to until they delivered the oven. She also said if we'd used it then it wasn't returnable - luckily for us, other then testing the features we hadn't actually cooked anything. After multiple mailings, back and forth over the course of a week, we finally received confirmation they'd take it back with a 5% restocking charge which she said was a great deal as its usually 25%. Annoying we had to pay this + the delivery costs considering it was her mistake in the first place! So, they came by a few days later, picked it up and we were told, after they got it back to the store and inspected it, that we'd get our refund. After almost 3 weeks, and many emails later, we finally got our refund. Overall a painful experience with poor knowledge about Trail's products demonstrated by the sales rep, never taking any responsibility for the mistake or apologizing and essentially blaming us for selecting the wrong model. Add that to being out a few hundred dollars in delivery and restocking charges and being without a range for several weeks. In the end we found a Samsung (at Home Depot) that had the features we wanted but it was gas so we then had to pay the pipe-fitter again to uncap the line so we could hook it up. Those costs could have been avoided as well if Tracy had just told us up front they didn't have what we were looking for. We won't be going back to Trail.

i went in to metropolitan appliance on memorial day weekend and had done my online research and was…read morepretty certain what i wanted in terms of a replacement slide in stove. jacob a approached me and ended up helping me. we spent over an hour talking about options and discussing standard coil vs induction/glass top. i wasn't going to go that route but jacob is very thorough and not pushy at all; multiple times he stated that his goal was for me to purchase something i felt comfortable with and would be happy to own. i appreciated that. ultimately i decided to go with a frigidaire model that was a drastic improvement on the stove/oven i've lived with for two decades. he took care of the payment paperwork, the scheduling of delivery which had to wait until now and also all the communication between us. he was also kind enough to send a follow up email alerting me to being eligible for a rebate based on the model i had chosen. today, the delivery folks showed up within the stated window and i'll just say that the tracking system clients are sent to know when to expect the delivery is magic! it helped a lot to be prepared and to have cleared the adjacent space but it left no guessing for when they would arrive. jorge and his teammate (sorry, i didn't catch his name) were professional and efficient. they knew how to handle the extrication of the old appliance, how to set up the new one and insure it was level, and they walked me through basic operating instructions. all told (and i haven't yet used the appliance) i have been very happy with the level of service and courteous communication from this business. it makes me want to provide their name to others who are in the appliance market and to use them again when i next need a replacement.

Damaged our home and very challenging to get repairs…read more The reason I went with Arnold's Appliance was to have a local trusted company ensure a seamless experience, vs the higher availability/lower cost but risk associated with a Lowes or Home Depot messing up our house. However it made no difference: - Installers cut corners trying to remove old fridge through a tight corner without disassembly - Dinged up the house, ripped a hole into a railing, 8 or so medium to large gouges in drywall, and almost shattered a wall sconce - It took over a month to get repairs done, being told 3 separate times I'd be contacted and yet still having to follow up myself numerous times to make anything happen - Contracted repair company did a decent patch job, but the repair is obvious with paint not fully covering patches or blending into the rest of the wall When you buy an appliance, the implicit contract is that your home won't be damaged, and if it is, they will make it right ($), restore it to its prior condition, and own driving that process. It's still not repaired to it's prior condition, I've had to drive the entire process myself, and I've received no compensation for the headaches.
