He set it at 12 inches and my reading distance is 18 inches because I'm a tall guy. I called and let them know. I had a problem and they said that they would take care of it and give me a new prescription. When I didn't hear from them, I went by the office. They said they would take care of it and get back to me. They still haven't. Now I have to pay for a new prescription someplace else as they used my insurance. I am on fixed income and couldn't afford the over $500 for their glasses. Also, I will have to replace the glasses that I got elsewhere from their prescription. So I am out $275 for those glasses. I wish I would've checked their Yelp review before making the appointment.

Once the check in process is done you are whisked back for a blood pressure and temperature check then a quick finger prick to test your iron level. Once that's done, to the donation area you go. The seat was comfy and the staff, well, amazing, to say the least. Once you complete the donation, they have a waiting area they ask you to wait for a while just to make sure you are ok. Plenty of juice, snacks and bottled water. A great experience in the end and it was nice knowing I not only helped myself but someone else that as well.
