The receptionist said your appt is for our 3rd street location and they have a 5 minute late gap to accept patient. I arrived 6 minutes late. I noticed there signage says VISION CENTER. I never would have guessed it is the same business as the other location. When I arrived, the receptionist asked do you have your paperwork? No, I never received any. She said sInce theres no paperwork then we'll need to reschedule. At that point I left stating I'd find some other doctor in Corvallis to have an exam with. This is extremely poor practice and they lost a customer who would have purchased "several" pair of glasses from them at this appt, not just one. Also, they need to actually SEND paperwork or let people know it's required so they can pick it up in advance. If you use them be certain you can only be 5 minutes late after rushing over from the other location which is actually called Eyecare Associates. Poor practice!

My experience here was amazing…read more Waits for my eye appointments have been dreadful everywhere I've went since I could remember. I was acknowledged the second I walked into the door. Someone was with me very shortly after. Didn't have to wait such a long time, and that was amazing to have ave the first visit there! Staff is very friendly and accommodating! I forgot to bring my old records and they still worked around it very well and helped me to the fullest! Would definitely recommend visiting with them! They go above and beyond to meet your needs and do the best that they can plus more for their customers!

I thought I had found an honest and reasonable optometrist but was told they got bought out by a bigger company and their pricing policy has changed. I told the eye doctor that while the options he flipped to, looked the best out of the choices, the right eye didn't look right. He held lenses over my glasses, that was supposed to be equivalent and it looked ok, so I went with it. I then looked at buying glasses there, but their prices, even with insurance, were about $150 more than other places, so I decided to buy them from my husband's eye doctor. The glasses came back and the vision wasn't right in the right eye so they made them again. It still wasn't right so they asked me to have my doctor recheck the prescription for my right eye. I made an appointment and came in, but was told that they couldn't recheck my eye prescription without having the glasses and that it would cost $95 to have it done. I asked, even if it's discovered that the prescription was wrong, I'd have to pay? And they said yes. So I said I wouldn't be returning and if I have to pay, I will pay a different place to do it. I can't believe they won't check if they made a mistake.

They charged me full price, over $230 for the office visit. The Dr told me to use refresh eye drops more often, it was probably dry eyes, he was struggling too. I have and do use eyedrops through out the day, for years. It has been 1 year and my vision in the corrected eye, new lenses in my glasses too, is aweful. I will need the other eye done and will go elsewhere. I was going to switch my vision care to this office but will stick with Costco. The office staff is great, the Dr is nice, but "good enough" does'nt cut it when it comes to corrected vision.

Once in the exam room I waited an hour before I finally called the front desk and asked them what was going on, that I had had been in the exam room for an hour. They said they would let someone know. About 10 minutes later a tech came and said that I was next, that it shouldn't be too long. Thirty minutes later the doctor came in. I waited a total of an hour and a half! On top of that the doctor didn't have the professional courtesy to apologize. She just began working on my eye, she also tweaked my eye while examining it, which was extremely painful. She then blew it off explaining to the tech that I was experiencing a little problem, that I was feeling uncomfortable. I have never experienced such treatment by an eye care professional. There are some positives though: before this visit I did see a Dr. Bagga, who was great, the optician named Rhonda was fabulous and the clinics lab did do a super job on my prescription, and finally the front desk staff were very polite and courteous.

Dr Haslam talked to me as if I were a child and when I explained that I had some bad memories he said "I'm not forcing you to be here". My mental faculties are fine, in fact I continue to mentor graduate students and still contribute to professional journals. I made an appt. for a consultation, I have a large and complicated front upper loose bridge that I…read moreneeded replaced, I was looking for a dentist that could take on this complicated job. I explained when I made the appt. I did not want to waste my time or insurance money with a Dentist that could not do the job I needed.(I had already been down that road a month before) Well when I got in the chair at the appt. Dr.Haslam tells me they need a comprehensive set of x-rays for my entire mouth and this bridge is going to cost tens of thousands of dollars and he will probably need to bring in a surgeon. so they take a couple of x rays and Dr.$$$$ Haslam tells me the same thing again. so I say lets do it! because I need a new bridge. on the way out they make me a 2hr.appt. for comprehensive xrays almost a month out. this bridge is almost falling out and includes 7 teeth. I dont think Dr.Haslam has the experience to take on such a complex job, and just wanted to scare me away. But thanks for wasting my time and insurance money.
