As a type 1 diabetic for 40 yrs my vision has suffered. Ive had several eye surgeries and ive been seeing the same retina specialist for many years. Ive been complaining about an issue for some time now and im always told "youre retinas are fine, nothing more we can do" I had an eye exam by Dr. Nathanson at Luxe that revealed i did in fact, have a serious issue. He was very thorough, took his time with me and listened to me descibe what i was seeing. Im so grateful, moving forward, the eye requires a serious surgery. Heather was my initial experience at Luxe. She helped me navigate the different lenses they offer and explained in detail how each one would provide a slightly different view. Not a pushy salesperson, a delight to work with. The customer service at Luxe is outstanding from the moment you enter. The exam is state of the art. Before seeing the surgeon who did the operation, the technicians check eye functions and dilate the pupil. Everyone is so pleasant and at the same time professional. Late afternoon I received a phone call to ask how I'm doing. Monday I called because I noticed something floating in my field of vision in the right eye. I was a little concerned. They told me to come in as soon as possible and they will have the surgeon check it. I really didn't expect to be able to see him so soon. The Doctor was very reassuring. Everything was healing as it should and he would see me at the end of the week for my scheduled follow up. The front office takes care of billing the insurance.

Brion has been incredibly patient, professional, diligent, and meticulous with me and in helping me get the proper glasses and tools for me to function and live my life. With my prescription, the slightest margin of error can create distortion and loss of function for me. And the type of Glasses I can use are limited. With a frame valued at up to $250. Anybody who has had to practically take out a loan to afford progressive lenses will appreciate this offer. My last pair of progressives with a just OK frame set me back over $900. So this time, I was able to get two pair plus a pair of prescription sunglasses for just a few hundred dollars more including an upgrade to better frames. You won't find high-end designer frames here like Prada or Boss or Versace, etc. but the frames are good quality and according to my 20 something, Daughter look very stylish. I had a little bit out of pocket but considering that I got three distinctly different eyeglasses, I am so very pleased. See my photographs for my haul. Less than a year later the other arm broke. I complained that I already paid close to 1/2 the original price for the repair of the first broken arm. Sales woman had the audacity to say 'It was not 1/2 but a 1/4.' If she wanted to be precise it was 1/3. Now she wanted another $200 for the repair so I just walked out. The place is taking advantages of the mostly senior citizens clientele. DO NOT SHOP THERE.
