Paid $50 for a car wash, once they were almost finished someone pulled me aside and told me that I needed some wax to get out some scratches that were on my door. He told me $25 extra dollars and then went down to $20 when I was thinking about it. I said okay fine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After the guy was done waxing my car he had me send him the money via Venmo. I sent him a Venmo but he kept saying he didn't get it and that I needed to send it to him again. I was charged on my side but he kept showing me his Venmo QR code and said again. This place is the definition of "half assed" Zero attention to detail, numerous missed spots on the car not cleaned, bird crap still on the sunroof, and the tire shine they use flings all over the car the moment you drive off the lot. I just left the car wash and my car literally looks and feels brand new inside. The guys paid such close attention to detail, totally went above and beyond and were so nice! I have gone to this car wash for years. it used to be very good. I left a review in 2012 where I was disappointed in what appeared to be selective service. I went recently as it is a convenient location, and I will go out of my way to not return. The price is much higher, and the service is much, much worse. There was still bird poop on the outside, the inside doors were not wiped down. The vacuuming was half hearted and there was still dust all over the dash, radio and console. I could have done better myself, in less time and a quarter the cost at a DIY carwash. I go to a full service car wash for full service. You will NOT get that here. read more

I parked my car under some pipes in a garage. When it was raining hard, some of the pipes leaked rusty water on my car, leaving a rusty oil stain on the side of the car. I tried to get it off myself via car wash, rust remover for cars, etc but nothing worked. I finally took it here for an exterior detail. I didn't have an appointment but they were able to squeeze me in the same day. Of course they tried to sell a full detail to me but my interior is spotless so I kept refusing. It took about 3 hours for the exterior detail but I was happy with the job they did. I had some tints on my tail lights that got a little messed up but I wasn't too annoyed by that. I just had my car washed here Sunday morning at 9 o'clock with not a big crowd and paid $50 to wash my car and there is still a ton of bird crap all over it... All over my front windshield is not even cleaned, they didn't even clean the marker that they wrote on it with. For $50 I expect my car to be spotless and for you to spend more than 15 minutes on it. I am very disappointed in my first experience at Walnut Creek Car Wash. The service cost me $75 for a wash and wax. When I arrived the exterior of vehicle look great, but upon entry I found that my back seat was not vacuumed nor wiped down; the cup holders were not cleaned or even wiped out, and the trunk was not vacuumed nor wiped down. I spent a lot of time removing all of our personal possessions to ensure that they would have easy access to fully vacuum and clean the vehicle. I called and left a message for the manager about my service, and asked that I receive a return call to discuss, but have yet to hear back. Went to a car meet after where people were looking in detail at my car and only then did I notice how bad they did! The inside had so many missed spots as well as the outside ! I've come here multiple times, because it's one of the two full detail car washes in the area that are "decent" And every time I'm a little disappointed. A few spots missed here and there. It's annoying, but overall my car was cleaner than before. But this time... what the F did I even pay for?? I could have gone through a car wash at some gas station for the same result. You can never check the car before leaving because there's a line of cars waiting to come out and you just are pressured to get outta there asap. I get home to install my car seat only to find that the backseat AND trunk were not even wiped down. Like they couldn't even take a wet rag to wipe it once over??!! Let me say the exterior wash was great and the car tires looked great. The interior didn't look like they did anything but barely vacuum. There was no signage showing prices prior to you getting a ticket from someone saying regular wash. When you go inside to pay I was expecting around 30.00 -40.00 for a car wash. But with no wax or upgrade. the basic wash was $50.00. They said because I have a small Lexus rx SUV . Umm. the Huge BMW IL next to me was 30 and mine is 50.00. I am sorry, but if I would have known the price upfront I wouldn't have gotten it washed there. Especially disappointed that after the car came back the interior looked untouched.
