I trusted them to do a job for me that I hired them to do-advise me as a new business start up, do my corporate taxes and payroll taxes. I was not happy with their service and fired them in early 2023. In 10/2024, received a letter from the IRS informing me that they failed to file Form 941 4th quarter payroll taxes (a service I paid them to do). This has been an ongoing issue since then. It has turned mistakes made by the IRS with bills coming to me requesting over $15K, but the IRS has taken accountability for their mistake. Yet this firm has yet to take any responsibility for their error in not filing the Form 941 which has left me with penalties and interest over $5000 including Penalty for failure to file, Penalty for failure to pay, and failure to make a proper tax deposit penalty plus interest. Obviously, these are all penalties related to what I hired them to do. At this point I have gone back and forth with Mayzie who only wants to deflect the problem onto me and blame me for things that they failed to do. She is the worst accountant I have encountered. She is argumentative and deflects from the issue of their mistake. It is stonewalling and gaslighting, and abusive in nature. DO NOT work with these people. They are INCOMPETENT and corrupt in practice. They fail to take accountability for mistakes they make and will blame you. Avoid the mistake I made in trusting this firm. The front desk staff, Ingrid, is excellent at playing dumb. "I can't help you only the accountant can do that". Is her go to line.

She has a great team of lawyers in her office to step in if anything should happen to her. You get a digital copy and a paper packet. Whether you get a will or a trust (she will explain what's best for your situation) - she would also be there for your family to assist if anything did happen to you. She was reasonably priced. She was very patient while I had so many questions and she recommended the best route for my situation. She is not forceful but quite the opposite. She truly loves what she does. If you do not have a will or trust- please call her and get a consultation. I'm only 56, but my dad passed without leaving legal instructions and documentation. This caused our family undue stress for about 1.5 years with probate court and red tape.
