You won't believe a store this good is where it is. Beautifully maintained, this was a store since the 1800s. You can get cool gifts, bulk nuts and spices and such, a sandwich freshly made, and sit on vintage chairs with tables in the back. I wanted a t-shirt. read more

I could eat here every week. If you're in rural PA, and you're hankering for a Philly hoagie, this is one of the only places to go. However, you should skip the hoagie (which I still like) and go straight for one of their excellent wraps. They're all great, especially the buffalo-blue-cheese-chicken and chicken-caesar wraps. When strawberries are in season, everyone's favorite seems to be the chicken-strawberry wrap. They also are a good general store, where you can get dry-goods, gifts, and even a fishing license. Of special note is the staff, who are all friendly and helpful. read more

Such a great place to eat. I had an urge for one of their great italian subs. I came in about 15 minutes before close, but they still made one up. They have just about the best subs you can get! I believe they also serve warm subs as well. The service was great as well! You feel a little weird walking in the back door, almost like it's someone's house. Wow! Found this place two weeks ago and they have the best deli meals. We have been having the wraps, have had 4 of the nine different types , all really yummy. Spinach soup today was excellent. Can't wait to try more of both. They also have hoagies and sandwiches. The grocery section contains just about all the basics you might need. Lot of local goods too. Great place. We travel 15 miles to get here but it is well worth it. Our new favorite!!!! read more

Such a little gem in our area. They always had great sandwiches for take out or to eat at their little dining area. Plus everything else needed that you might have forgotten on your recent shopping trip. The veggies are organic and they have Longacres ice cream. This is such a cute general store that has their own packaged spices and baking ingredients for a cheaper price than most stores. My mom like her hoagie, it was packed full of ingredients.
