Dr. Wanda Brady, is an amazing, caring and thorough doctor. Her bedside manners are some of the very best. I have been going to her for several years as well as some of my family member and some friends. We agree that Dr. Brady is fantastic. We love her. The office staff-ladies are nice and helpful... The only problem I have is when calling the office. They throw you on hold for a long time. Not always the case, but it does happen more than it should. Definitely give her 5 STARS. read more

I was referred to Dr Brady by my gynecologist when I had a ruptured ovarian cyst and painful symptoms from what turned out to be severe endometriosis and adenomyosis. I went for a consultation with Dr Brady for a hysterectomy. My first impression was disappointing because I felt that Dr Brady was very condescending about the work that I had done with my functional medicine doctor and she was condescending about any remedies or supplements that were not typical "western medicine". I also did not believe her to be compassionate about the painful symptoms that I was experiencing. I brought in my latest blood work, pelvic ultrasounds and uterine biopsy information and she told me that blood tests to check my hormone levels were not "good medical evidence" and that I should be weary of "so-called menopause experts" My doctor, who she referred to as a "so called menopause" expert" is a leader in functional medicine with an MD and an exceptional reputation look her up (Dr Yen Ingrid Lai). I decided to move forward with Dr Brady because she was within my network and I was in so much pain and didn't want to wait for another consultation with a different office. I believed she would be a competent surgeon and that I could return to my functional medicine doctor after the surgery. I had to wait 3 months from my consultation visit for a surgery date even though I told Dr Brady and the surgery coordinator that I was suffering. I called several times asking about cancellations or anything that could be done to move me up on her schedule and there seemed to be no sense of urgency to help me find some relief. The surgery was successful and I am grateful to Dr Brady and Dr Williams (who assisted). Dr Brady did tell me after the surgery that it was a much more complicated surgery than expected and that I really needed that surgery, which was validation for me. At my first two post op appointments I arrived 10-15 minutes early and still waited 10-15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to see the doctor. Today I had my 8 week post op appointment and arrived at 8:50 for my 8:45 appointment. I was 5 minutes late because I thought my appointment was at 9:00am (so I thought I was 10 minutes early). I was told by the office staff that Dr Brady was on a tight schedule and would not see me because I was 5 minutes late. I was extremely frustrated and left the office. The office staff called me when I got into the parking lot to try and reschedule for the following day and I told her that I will not return to Dr Brady's office. I waited for her many times for up to 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time yet I'm sent away because I'm 5 minutes late- that is ridiculous and very disappointing! For these reasons I would not recommend Dr Brady or her office. read more

I love Dr. Brady!!! I'm sorry to see so many negative reviews. I was her patient for almost 15 years when she worked at Magan in San Dimas. She walked me through many stages of my life and was so kind and caring. I had ovarian cancer and she recommended me to the best gynecologist/oncologist. She was excellent with her follow up. I had a breast biopsy and she was there for me. I don't know what else to say. I think things may have deteriorated when she moved to another practice. But overall, so happy with the care I received! I was sad to see her leave Magan, but I also moved, so I had to change doctors anyway. If you see this, Dr. Brady, please know that you are loved!!!! read more

This is long but I feel like I need to warn others especially in this economy. I went in June of 2024 just for an annual exam with the NP Honeyleen Reyes. All we did was talk about my health progress no pap needed this year. She was absolutely kind and seems to really care there was no problem with Honeyleen Reyes she is so kind and from Dr. Bracy's staff. When I left I paid my bill as I'm a cash paying patient and they don't take Medi-Cal so $160 no problem at all I was expecting that. Two days ago I get 3 bills dated from 9/3/24, 9/28/24, and 10/23/24. They say if I don't pay $120 within the next 10 days I will be sent to collections?!?! The bill is for $244 but they discounted $124 (even though i had paid $160 in person day of) I called the office 10/31/24 and they're closed apparently even though it's normal business hours unless they observe Halloween as a holiday? I'm currently on hold for an hour and a half with the billing department while at work to find out what I'm being billed an extra $120 for as I paid in full at time of service. ON TOP OF IT ALL THEY SENT ADDRESSED IT TO MY MOTHER. I am an adult and in no way did I ever say to bill my mom. I'm so disappointed how disorganized this place became once Dr. Bracy has left. I don't know what to do now and nobody seems to care. Please save yourself and go somewhere else. read more

She performed a minor surgery on my 16 year old daughter. Somehow she severed one of her fallopian tubes but never mentioned it. Now they've been through 9 years of infertility treatments. I just wish she had been honest with my daughter. read more

I recently went in for a well woman exam. She refused to treat my UTI. I have had chronic UTIs. I had one when I went in for the exam and explained this to Dr. Brady, as well as the background of consistent infections. She told me to go see a urologist. I explained how difficult it was to find a woman urologist and that I made an appoitment three months ago but still had another month to wait for my appointment. Having had these infections chronically, I know the treatment protocol, which is to treat immediately because of very painful symptoms and because UTIs can turn into deadly kidney infection, send in the urine culture and then adjust the antibiotic if the results come back as a different pathogen. 90% of the time the pathogens are covered by the antibiotic they already sent. Dr Brady refused to give me a prescription until urine cultures came back (which can take over a week) and instead told me to see the urologist. I explained my appointment was not for another month and that was no help to me for this active infection. She told me to go the urgent care if I needed to be seen and get a prescription right away, obviously knowing that they would give me one, while she inexplicably would not, because that is standard practice of care. Why would I waste the time, money to go see a random urgent care PA when I was seeing my own OBGYN right then and there for a common gynecological problem? I've never had a doctor refuse care or deviate from standard medical practice so callously with no explanation. STAY AWAY. read more

Long review. I first came here in April 2023. I wanted to try a female doctor instead of my usual male doctor. She suggested I tried an iud and told me all about how great they are. I agreed to try and had her insert it. Horrible experience took her 2 tries and really seemed like she was not good at the procedure. Her office also sent my pap smear to the incorrect lab for my insurance so I got a bill that I shouldn't have and they would not fix their mistake. I was also charged a copay all 3 times I went (pap smear -no copay with my insurance but they charged anyways, iud insertion, and follow up 2 weeks later. ) besides the point. This February 2024 (a little less than a year later) I decided I wanted it removed due to the side effects. Dr Brady when I went into the removal appointment was very condescending and talked down to me almost as if I was dumb. She told me all of my side effects in no way could be caused by the iud (it literally is on the iud brochure as possible side effects). She kept repeating that she did not want to remove it even though I was telling her I wanted it out. Finally as she is about to remove it she comes up with a last minute excuse of wanting to send me for an ultrasound first in case the bloating isn't from the iud, And would not remove it! She could have removed it as I wanted and then I could've done the ultrasound still. But no, she just didn't want to remove it. Needless to say I went elsewhere and they could not believe that she would not remove it for me. I got it removed no issues. Don't go here unless you want a condescending doctor who acts like she's smarter than you and billing issues. read more

Worst doctor ever. Went in there as a referral from Cigna and was told by my primary that she was in my network. After explaining a few menopausal symptoms I was having, this lady tried to prescribe me anti-depressants. I was not depressed, just had some hot flashes and needed an ultrasound to check for cancer. She must be bought and paid for by the pharmaceutical companies. Went and had ultrasound and then got a bill for over $500 cause I apparently was not in my network. The employee and the office didn't even bother to check my coverage. She has some not so bright people working for her. Would never recommend this pill pushing condescending Dr. Find yourself a functional medicine Dr that actually knows what she is doing. read more

Dr. Brady has a very strict 15 minute policy on appointments where if you show up later than that grace period she straight up cancels your appointment. Never mind that she shows up late to your appointment you're on her time after all. They even used to charge too. Additionally they just straight up cancelled my appointment with no offer to reschedule via an online system. That's fine, but an explanation would be nice especially since the appointment is necessary to continue a medication. As other reviewers stated her bedside manner is not the greatest and seems to run on whatever mood she's particularly in. I've had a pap before her once before, and she was by far the most uncomfortable, if not most unpleasant. The experience is really unpleasant to begin with but with her it actually hurt a bit. I get that medical school takes a long time, I get that doctors are busy people, but I don't think that warrants treating your patients like a number. Maybe that's what she learned in medical school or through life. The hippocratic oath is wasted on this doctor. If you're looking for someone who is caring and is there to help you with your well being, do not go here and avoid at all costs. read more

I have had a problem that no other doctor was willing to go the extra mile to diagnose or treat. Dr. Brady has been such a relief to find. She seriously cares about me. Every time a test couldn't pin point what was going on and I felt/looked defeated she said "oh no we are going to figure this out don't worry here's what we do next....." she has helped me TREMENDOUSLY and is so approachable and puts you at ease. I have nothing but respect and admiration for Dr. Brady. She was thorough and seemed sincere in her concern when I went to her for my first annual checkup in 5-or-so years. How her office is run - or how Magan Medical Clinic is run - however, is a different matter. After repeatedly stating that I want to make sure the the office and doctor is in-network, and being assured by her office that the checkup was 100% covered by my insurance, Dr. Brady's office sent my labwork to an out-of-network lab without telling me. If I had known, I would have asked for an in-network lab - which is exactly what I did when Dr. Brady ordered bloodwork: I asked for a written order so I can take it myself to a lab which is 100% covered. What's worse than costing me a 20% copay for an out-of-network provider, what they did triggered an additional $3,000 deductible. So my deductible went from $3,000 to $6,000 because her office did not care to tell me they do not process their own samples and did not check with me which labs were in my network. A simple courtesy of asking one question would have saved me money and stress. Additionally, it took 2 days of calling Dr. Brady's office before I could get her medical assistant to talk to me. Now I have to wait until next year to get bloodwork done all because they did not take the time to ask me. So my 150/101 blood pressure at checkup has probably been through the roof since I found out and will go unchecked until 2017 because I will still have to pay for an in-network doctor to get my blood pressure checked- at which point I'll probably need new kidneys. $3000 may be nothing to a big office like Magan Medical, but it's a lot for a single-income earner. ONE QUESTION would have made a big difference, but you couldn't be bothered. This is why it takes me years to go back to the doctor's office - each visit creates more headaches. Do NOT go to this doctor! They don't care about their patients at all. We were 20 weeks pregnant and had been going to Dr. Brady since the start. My wife was rear-ended in a car accident and we immediately went over to Dr. Brady's office to get checked out and make sure the baby was okay. When we arrived at the office the Dr wasn't in, so they sent us next door to the San Dimas hospital. The hospital staff was pleasant and checked the baby's heart rate. The hospital then dismissed us and said, for piece of mind, we could go back to Dr. Brady's office (they had called and she was in office at that point)to do an ultrasound just to make sure everything was okay. We returned to Dr. Brady's office, told them what happened and requested to see the Dr and get an ultrasound. The nurse spoke with Dr. Brady and then said that the Dr would NOT see us and just to return for our next normal appointment in 3 weeks. We explained that we were concerned and wanted to make sure that the baby was okay and asked if we could just speak with the Dr for a few mins? The nurse then went back to Dr Brady and returned saying the Dr would NOT see us or even come to talk to us for a few mins! What kind of Dr refuses to see or even speak to her patient who is 20 weeks pregnant and was just in a car accident?! She clearly has not care or concern for the well being of her patients and should not be in this line of work if she lacks the basic empathy and concern for her patients! If you want a Dr that cares for you and wants to make sure you have a healthy baby... do NOT go to Dr Brady! read more

I've been coming here since I was pregnant with my daughter. I didn't want to go through the hassle of going somewhere else since they had my info. Fast forward she's almost 2 and I decided to get off the IUD. Automatically Dr. Brady assumes I wanted to start a familY I said yes but not now. My appointment was over (this was 10/31) and she gives ZERO details as to where or what I'm supposed to do in getting an ultrasound d. THREE WEEKS later I come to my appointment and to be told I will not be getting an ultrasound and I should've been contacted my radiologist WHO CONTACTED ME THE DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT. The lady who took my weight and blood pressure the need to make a very rude comment saying my daughter bottle is a very big supply cup, okay lady I know where you're getting at and then want to ask the age. Just be blunt and say what you'd like to say. I've never had a positive experience at all oh and not oNly that dr. Easy never asked if I wanted birth control because she just assumed I didn't want it. Please find somewhere else Megan doesn't have low stars for no reason. I was really looking to find a new doctor because mine is so far away from where I live. I called the office not realizing they were closed but some lady answered and was so rude it was ridiculous. I just asked her whether or not the doctor was in and if not if there was a way for me to leave a message for her to call me. She rudely interrupted me and went on about how she DOESN'T take messages or set up appointments. I was appalled at how down right rude she was. I honestly might not even come here at all now even to meet the doctor just because of her attitude. Today was my first appointment with Dr. Brady and I have to say that I was more than pleased. I have been with Dr. Rose (in the same office) for many years but she's leaving to practice elsewhere so I was scheuled with Dr. Brady instead. I was called into the offce about 20 minutes past my appointment time and sat in the exam room for about 10 minutes before she arrived. I don't blame the doctor for being late, you never know what's going on with the patients who were scheduled before you - which is why I always try to schedule my appointments as early as possible to avoid that backup! Even with starting my appointment late, I never felt rushed. Dr. Brady answered all of my questions fully, yet concisely, professionally and courteously. I was impressed before my exam even began. I felt very comfortable as she made the conversation more friendly than clinical - she's a real person with issues like the rest of us; I admire that. I have seen Dr. Brady through 2 pregnancies. Magan has 3 OB/Gyn doctors who rotate through maternity patients. She want consistently late for whatever reason no matter when I made an appointment I had to wait at least 30-45 minutes in the exam room to see her. This problem does not occur with the other two doctors and I feel it is unprofessional and inconsiderate for her to do this on a regular basis. Others I know have seen her and though she is friendly and an adequate doctor they all agree that she is always late for every appointment. read more

Dr Brady and the rest of the staff at Magan in San Dimas have been great! I am currently 32 weeks and have had a great experience with this office so far. The office staff are friendly and the wait is never more than 10 minutes. They always return my calls promptly and answer questions quickly. Dr Brady in particular has been very patient and understanding of all my first time pregnancy questions. When I started looking for a doctor it was important to me to find someone that would really consider my needs and be respectful of my wishes. I was looking for a more holistic approach to pregnancy and plan on having a natural, drug free birth. So far Dr Brady has been very encouraging of this.
