I've been doing fashion colors for years on my highlighted blonde-ish hair and have had continued problems with fading (some to be expected) and a LOT of bleeding of vivid color into unwanted areas of the hair - no fun and super high maintenance! After my most recent hairdresser moved to a third salon that was much farther away from me than she already was, I was frantic and on the hunt for a new person. Found Kristi (thanks fellow Yelpers!) and had a phone consultation with her. She didn't even need to see me to know exactly what I wanted. On my first visit several months ago (not sure why I didn't write a review sooner - maybe I wanted to keep her a secret) she had purchased products especially for me (Pulp Riot rocks!) and worked her magic. My hair turned out fantastic! More bright and pigmented than ever with the perfect blonde backdrop (no toner needed). Based on my previous experiences in Austin, I was hesitant to wash my hair the first time...that was typically when everything in sight would get stained pink and red. Even on my VERY FIRST shampoo after being treated by Kristi, there was very little color run off and it was still bright 8 weeks later when I went in for a re-do!!! I am one happy girl! Kristi is an amazing person and very well skilled in her craft. Brava! No more more tress stress for me! ;) Note: She is also a market partner for Monat hair care. Since having extensions I've noticed a drastic increase in strangers hitting on me, the execution was absolutely seamless, and I've been to other professional hair stylists since getting them (just for hair styling) and none of them were able to tell I had extensions until I explained that I did. Not only that, but I've also seen a tremendous improvement in the growth and quality of my natural hair underneath. The price was also very reasonable: $600 ish for the hair weft itself (this is basically a once a year cost) $200 for installation (every 8 weeks or so) Sarah also cut, toned, styled, and did a conditioning treatment on my hair to perfectly match the extensions. It all really made a difference so I would recommend these add ons each time !! Truly there's nowhere else that will match this amazing quality, beautiful style, and low price point.
