Today's tea journey brought me to Whale tea. The location of this joint is close to the stadium…read morewhich is nice. I would come here often if I lived closer. What a pretty venue! It's very bright and vibrant. There's a ton of room and tables for people to grab a drink and hang out. It gives a very cozy feeling with the pillows on the long bench and little couch. There's two ordering stations that you can order your drinks from. There's not a lot of interaction with you and the barista. Actually, the gal that was working didn't really talk to us. She had a guest that she was giving her attention to. They were chatting it up the whole time we were ordering and while our drinks were made. There was a gentleman that clocked in and he helped me for a bit. He helped me start a new drink card. This would have been a 5 star review if the gal would have just paid a little more attention to us. For drinks I got the pomelo lemon tea with lychee jelly. My daughter grabbed the strawberry slushy with lychee jelly as well. The tea was delightful! You can taste the citrus in the tea. It was perfectly sweetened with a good amount of jellies on the bottom. There's also pieces of citrus peel. It added a nice element to my drink. The strawberry slushy was perfectly blended. It was thick and icy. It came with the cutest lid! My tea was fantastic and the venue is really cute! I look forward to trying other tea if I'm ever in the area again.

Not bad. Coming from the Bay Area I'd like to say I'm a boba snob, but this was solid. Nice staff,…read moreclean spot. The tea was lighter than I thought it would be, but it worked for me. Got the brown sugar milk tea and it was a solid treat.

Thank goodness for living in a rainy city ..I had prepared all my life for this moment. When we…read morearrived, it was absolutely pouring, and being from the Pacific Northwest, we didn't think twice about waiting in line .As soon as the rain let up, though, the line grew dramatically, so we were glad we had stuck it out. The bakery itself is small, but the display case is anything but. It's packed with beautifully crafted pastries, each one more tempting than the last. Honestly, everything looked worth trying. We settled on the Rose Croissant and the Lox Croissant Sandwich, and both were excellent. The rose croissant was a standout with the rose flavor delicate yet present in every bite, which is rare for floral pastries. It never became overpowering or faded into the background or tasted artificial. The true star of the meal, however, was the lox croissant sandwich. It was absolutely stellar and one of the best savory pastries we've had in a long time. The coffee was just okay, but that was fine because the pastries completely stole the show. The staff worked quickly despite the steady stream of customers. There is a bit of seating both indoors and outdoors, although most people seemed to be taking their orders to go ,perhaps because of the weather. If you're visiting, come for the pastries. They're absolutely worth the wait.

Absolutely delicious pastries! We originally stopped by Janjou looking for coffee, but the coffee…read moreoptions are limited -- essentially black coffee or coffee with milk, with only cinnamon and sugar available as sweeteners (no flavored syrups). If you're like us and like specialty coffee flavors like salted caramel, lavender, honey, etc., this probably isn't the spot for your coffee fix. That said... the pastries are absolutely worth the visit! Everything we tried was beautifully made and delicious. Just a heads up: it gets very crowded and busy, so I'd recommend arriving early or going in with a little patience. It's not typically a quick grab-and-go stop, but the pastry treats make it worth slowing down for!

I looked up local coffee joints by me and luckily Push and Pour was by me. I took that as a sign and headed in. Plus this Push and Pour has been on my to go list so it was meant to be! I love that Garden City is starting to revamp and flourish. It's been great seeing all these new local businesses and homes growing. I didn't realize a couple restaurants that I was by to hit up are close to this shop so it will be a must to do a coffee and food run one afternoon. The vibe of this shop is chill. I love the outdoor seating. I look forward to cooler weather when the big garage doors are open. Inside is beautifully decorated. The art on the walls are just stunning. Enough seating to chill and enjoy your drink. I ordered an iced cold brew with sugar free vanilla and cream. I usually order an americano when I try a new spot out. I wanted a richer coffee taste today so the ice brew was a must. The gal behind the counter was super sweet. I told her about my new kidney and asked her to put the cream in my drink for me. I can't use communal creams or waters. Without hesitation she said yes. I appreciate her so much! My drink was perfect. The cold brew was rich in taste. I did add an extra pack of sweetner and it wad perfectly sweet. It did have the right amount of half and half of it. The sweet barista made a great drink for me today. I'm happy that I got to come in and peep this joint out. I kicked it inside for a bit and checked out the patio. It was nice enjoying my drink here. The venue is very unique and different. It makes it incomparable to the other shops in town. I am going to do a food and drink run sometime soon! I look forward to another round of cold brew from this joint and I grab some tacos next door.
