Because part of me enjoys seeing a bar that's really that bad, but mostly because 9 times out of 10 the bar turns out to actually be perfectly fine and the reviewer is in fact one of those uptight snobbish types who wants everything clean, pristine, and high-dollar. That's the way it turned out to be with Tony's... there's nothing wrong with this place at all. The front part of Tony's very much resembles a 1950s style diner, down to the booths, the bar stools, and the photos on the walls. The back room has pool tables and is occasionally used for bands. The selection of beer on tap, while limited, is more varied than most dive bars. There's an oddly placed mirror in the men's room that, while using the urinal, I noticed gives you a view out into the seating area. Which means people in that spot in the seating area also have a view of you. Hopefully this is accidental and not by design. :). Be careful with parking, you WILL get towed if you park in the lot across the street. I had to parallel park in a residential area a couple of blocks to the east.

And too many out of towner "investors" coming here now looking to make fast bucks ...this is just a small Summer only maybe 4 months out of the year resort area than does not support all year round spending....people looking to make fast money and get out but it isn't working.

My son ordered a Caesar salad and shrimp dinner and was satisfied with his selections. Place was crowded but we were able to squeeze into a two top.
