The stadium shares the parking lot with the War Memorial Stadium, so parking is plentiful. It's designed well so you'll get a good view of the field from any seat. So why only 2 measly stars? My gripe are with the seats - benches really, that are hard, cold aluminum instead of the more comfortable individual plastic/vinyl seats usually found in stadiums. There's no built-in concession stand either. For the Maui pros event, the beer stand is quite a walk away via a dirt trail from the seating area. Bleh. It's typical Maui - old, outdated and will probably stay that way until the roof falls in.

It's not anywhere near the facilities at UH Manoa, but it is a stadium which has so many upgrades…read moresince I was last there (in the 1980s). I do hope they expand the areas where spectators can sit and be safe (netting suspended from shaded regions, could put in some photo voltaic roofs while at it, since that could cut power costs to the entire War Memorial facilities if done right over the long hauls), and I hope there might be a concession area that does house and allow for sales as well as kitchen facilities which are not separate from one another. The biggest thing I think Maui needs in general is one more Baseball Stadium and perhaps two Softball Stadiums that could host State level championship games. I recognize the usage might be limited to some extent, but I think it could bring popularity and more exposure to the island and promote more tourism and athletics being done here. I enjoyed the State Baseball Finals being held there, and I hope this facility expands (at least to two viable fields for the finals) and will continue to improve for the people of Maui.

The check-in process was easy and well coordinated. There were different levels of general admission tickets: 18 and younger off to the left side, I think meet the band off to the other side, and preferred and general admission for 21 and over, which was our group. The sections were well posted and clearly cordoned off. In the open area, there was a vendor for beverages. There were also Porta potty style restrooms. I appreciated that a group of them were labeled for women and another for men. Washing stations outside for both. In our area, we were able to be right up against the barricade, so we had excellent viewing. The area in front of us was preferred. The area behind us sloped upward and at the top area there were bleachers set up for folks to have a seat. Otherwise, it was standing room only. That was perfect for us as it gave us space to dance in! The sound system was fantastic! Speakers were positioned well, loud enough for all to hear, and clarity was strong. It was not so loud that it was punishing to the ear drums, and we could enjoy singing and hearing those around us as well. Stage visibility was good: not quite centered, but nothing really obscuring our view. No shade cover here, but the breezes were refreshing and the temps were perfect once the sun set. Exiting was well guided and traffic flowed smoothly. So glad we were able to see a fave local band while we were here at MACC!

As an incentive planner, I try to find cool, unique and elevated experiences for my clients. I bought these tickets myself without any VIP or comps for me and my family to get the real experience. Here's the "not so good" - it just wasn't structured. We kind of hopped around without a solid plan, but by no means did we not get questions answered or not see what we wanted to. It's a very large farm, so we didn't see the entirety of it, but this is where a golf cart, or some sort of tram would be appropriate for small or medium groups, especially since we wanted to see parts of the farm that looked less traversed and more remote. Also...price. This was not worth the price we paid. A price point of $20-$35 would be more appropriate for the tour, whether 5 or 20 guests. I don't think we'd return anytime soon for this price point, but the guide was a great guy and really makes the tour more interesting. They just need more guidance and consulting on how to make a more professional tour structure, visuals, etc. as you would see on most any other tour around the world. The little trailer they have for meals is nice, but we did not eat on site on this visit. This is great for 5-10 guests...anymore would be a little challenging without a tram as it's 100% walking. The kids had a great time and were so thrilled to taste nuts and fresh coconut water right from the shell too! We walked about 2 miles in total but it was a nice leisurely stroll at our pace. He was in no rush, but kept to a good tempo. I think he wants to really expand this tour and grow more in to the region. I would say his love of the land can somewhat encompass the overall tour, but it was very good...I do hope he does incorporate more on how these nuts are formed, some visuals, maybe a small video of some sort as an intro for those who have never had or seen the nuts before. I would encourage him to provide stats as in to how many are grown, shipped, exported, uses and more as part of the tour. This is a great way to spend 1-2 hours learning about macadamia nuts, coconuts, and his love of farming and the land we live on. He's a Hawaiian hippie, but proud to be who he is and we loved that! It made the experience that much better and working with guys like him all my decades, I get and understand him. He did not rush us and he was receptive...but this just needs more structure and a lower price point.

Also there weren't as many local vendors selling handmade or Maui-made items this time around, which I usually love. I love The Adams Family and hadn't realized there was a musical version, and it had quite a few laugh lines scattered throughout to keep you amused too. I was surprised there wasn't a bigger audience....I go to school plays on island when I can and am always amazed at how polished and professional they are, and a great night out for a cheap ticket!
