I had an eye exam by the doctor and unlike any doctor I've ever been to in my life, I was not given the results of the exam. She said she would email me her findings the following day and I waited the entire day, nothing came. I went to the location and she wasn't there. The employee at front looked into the system and didn't see anything about my results. I am so contused as to what type of doctors office wouldn't be able to provide results of an exam they perform???? My doctor who referred me to them needs to see the results of the exam due to some serious symptoms I have, but I don't have any proof to show him that the doctor said she didn't find any of the conditions that he thought I might have. read more

I am super disappointed and dissatisfied with this store. Definitely thumbs DOWN. I DO NOT recommend Warby Parker. They sell plastic glasses with a fancy looking name. I bought two pairs and the sales rep did not allow me to pay with my employee HSA card. They don't want to help you only make a sale. My sales rep was a guy. He told me the glasses would arrive in a few days they took over two weeks. Everything is a scam, service WHAT service? I went into the store with broken glasses and can't see without my glasses. I really need them. For this guys lack of service I had to continue wearing the broken glasses until the first pair arrived that work. A week later, 3 weeks later the second pair arrived, the reading glasses arrived and I cannot see with them. I also had a broken leg and was bed red-din. Today I went to the store to get help and I was informed my 30 day return policy expired. I would need to buy another pair for $300 & get a new pair of glasses that I don't need. Guess what your policy stinks and I WILL NOT BUY FROM YOU AGAIN. read more

Came to this location recently to get a screw put on my frames as it became loose in the middle of a shift at work. Rashel was quick to assist and explain to me what was going to happen and how they would be fixing the issue. She had a sense of urgency while being enthusiastic about helping out. I was in and out within 10mins which I really appreciated as I had to get back to work. Rashel was extremely helpful and patient with all my questions and even cleaned up the frames for me as it's been a while since I've had maintenance on my frames. I went with my son to the Coconut Grove store late July. We wanted to have our frames updated with our new prescription, emitted by an optometrist, as they don't offer that service. We weren't exactly comfortable with how we were treated. The lady was rude, unhelpful and was very nervous about us trying the lenses. You should not work in a customer related business if you feel uncomfortable, specially now that we have COVID. Anyway, I called afterwards to make a complaint and was helped by a kind employee who does know how to treat a customer. Just as an extra note: my son´s glasses broke not long after. I live walking distance from this location and made an appointment for an eye exam online. I was very pleased with the independent optometrist but I am really annoyed and upset with the Warby Parker experience. I was given a hard sell in a crowded, noisy environment. I was waiting for the dilation solution to take effect to finalize my eye exam but was asked to go ahead and pay for the eye exam, which I did. I tried on frames and talked about the costs of the contact lenses and the next thing I knew the salesperson told me she had charged another $725 to my credit card for the glasses and contacts. I am attempting to cancel the orders and will never step foot in their shop or order online ever again. Unbelievable!!!!! read more

I was skeptical because the prices are low. The customer service is excellent. The attention to detail with their styles is quite nice. Their 30 day return policy and unlimited adjustments is a nice perk. What I found odd was that you can't call and talk to the stores directly, you have to go through a main number. I wanted to check on parking at a location and received a non descriptor answer since it was a call center. Their inventory isn't connected between stores either so if one store is OOS you have to call customer service to see where you can pick up your glasses of choice (with no immediate guarantee they will be there). I wish they would do a plus up tier with more sturdy material as their styles are great. Fingers crossed, let's see what happens. read more

We spent Sunday afternoon at Peacock Park playing baseball and decided to walk to Warby Parker to order sunglasses. I've heard a lot of great things about the service. However, our reception was poor to say the very least. When a friend, my 7 year old son and I arrived at the store entrance, we were walking behind a couple. The salesperson at the door opened the door for the couple, but pushed the door closed and walked away as we approached. I thought that it was possibly me being overly sensitive but my friend mumbled " WTF? He just pushed the door closed." Interestingly enough the same person who pushed the door closed followed me to ask if I wanted service. I responded that I would wait for anyone else to assist me besides him as he pushed the door closed as we approached, which I found extremely rude and unprofessional. He didn't deny his actions or apologize, he went to the front to speak with the other person at the front door. Meanwhile as I was contemplating leaving altogether, my 7 year old son happened upon another associate, Obi, where he asked for his assistance. Sadly, Obi was waiting on another customer, but offered to help us when he was done. We went to the car for a restroom break and to pick up my prescription. Upon our return, the other front door guard approached to assist us. Obi returned to the front and we thanked him, but explained that my son had picked his salesperson. This is where the experience turned from a -1 star to a 5 star. I'm not going to say that this was shopping while Black, but it was f'ed up. I will say that Obi took great care of us. We even saw a little teamwork. His female coworker at the next counter went to get the lens for me to select my color choice. We were measured, fitted, offered expedited shipping and paid without issue. I get that Warby Parker is typically located in hip, trendy neighborhoods; which are also in the midst of gentrification. However, rudeness is not acceptable to those of us who look like the long term residents being pushed out. I still plan to contact Warby Parker directly about this experience. Besides Obi and his co-worker's great service, I had a proud momma moment as I watched my son choose our sales associate and take control of the situation in the midst of possible discrimination, but undeniably rude service. The staff were super helpful to help with my particular face and my thick lens need. I would definitely shop here again. The team at Coconut Grove's Warby Parker is very warm and welcoming. They take time to make sure you absolutely love the glasses you are selecting. They explain each step of the prescription exam throughly and kindly answer any questions. I had some issues receiving emails about my order that made the process much longer than their service promise HOWEVER, this location (and company) still get 5 stars because they accepted that they had dropped the ball and did everything they could to make my experience great. During one frustrated customer service call I admitted "I would be stupid to get my glasses anywhere else, your product and customer service are recognizably the best in the business; the technical communication just needs work". I ordered glasses with their home try on service which was extremely convenient because of the pandemic. I was able to try on 5 pairs at a time and they got delivered to my home pretty quickly. I finally decided on which ones I liked and ordered them. I visited their store today for free adjustments. We were greeted at the door and were attended to right away (without an appointment). This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing eyeglasses. The frames are way better than anything you can buy from Lenscrafters, Costco or See. I discovered them by asking strangers I saw with good looking glasses where they got them. I started by ordering sample frames online but then was surprised to find a store near me. I bought a pair of Haskell sunglasses and James single vision glasses. They fit great. After my order I was given updates every day as to where my order was until the day they arrived. Ok. First and foremost - the customer service is amazing. The 2 girls that helped me were adorable and so willing to help me decide on which pair to get which was a task considering their beautiful selection. The store is chic, clean and simple. Upon entering and quickly glancing to the glasses you would think these are all hip, trendy glasses with hip and trendy prices but they are super affordable and they help you with insurance reimbursement if they don't cover your insurance. I had gone to a different store a few days before and found one pair that I liked. At Warby Parker I had about 15 pairs that I couldn't decide on. And before visiting the store I had called their corporate office to get some info and again was received with such a sweet lady on the other end (Lindsay) that was so helpful and kind, I could almost see her smiling on the other end of the line. What a great experience with this company! I will tell everyone I know about this company and refer the heck out of you. I visited the Coconut Grove store but there are a few more in Miami so I suggest making the switch and head over to this place! I went right at 12:00pm 12/9 - thank you to the 2 girls that helped me. So incredibly disappointed by the lack of understanding and empathy at this store. I have purchased five pairs of glasses at this store for my 3 year old daughter who is visually impaired, she wears a prosthetic eye and has had 12 surgeries in her short life. She is roughly 20/800 vision in her one usable eye, has had an iridectomy and has nystagmus. She has outgrown her three pairs of glasses and was in need of an emergency pair to be ordered. It is difficult to find a time to bring just her in and have her pick out her glasses. I also understand that the PD and central vision measurements is of little use for her. Her RX on file is simply a small estimate of her actual RX as opposed to any sort of functional RX. Despite having to explain this to the optician and essentially grovel for her help, her advice (after going in the back to discuss with her co-worker) was for us to go home and order online without any assistance from her. I actually wanted her advice on estimating sizing. Not sure what "liability" she is protecting herself from or what qualifications she thinks she has that supersede the advice of her specialists and myself as her mom who has fought for the best for her. Astounding that an optician and her co-worker think they know best than a parent. (Didn't even have time to tell her I myself actually worked 2 years as an optician!!) Not to mention you would think a visually impaired child in need of glasses would be met with some sort of empathetic interaction. Never ever again. I will take my business else where. Shameful. Disgusting. I left this store with tears in my eyes because no one cares anymore about anything but their own "liability". read more

Warby Parker has a beautiful selection of well crafted glasses. Frames usually start at $90, then get up to $195 in the higher range. I did a walk-in (I didn't know we needed appointments), but was still able to shop around like I needed to. There were only maybe 3-5 guests in the entire store at any given time. You go to a table in the center where you try on your glasses, and nothing is allowed to go back on the display until they sanitize it. Therefore everything you don't want goes into a tray for them to later clean and return to the display. I need low-nosebridge fit glasses and ALSO have a very narrow face, so I really only had about 5 frames I could chose from. Still, it's more than other places offer. With my $95 frames (the model was Daisy), $50 for blue light filter which I highly reccomend for excessive phone/computer use, and $30 for high index lenses which I need these because my prescription makes the glasses too thick, I paid about $170 total. Overall I am excited to get my glasses in the mail (7-10 business days!) My only pet peeve about this location is parking in Coconut Grove always costs a bit if you can't get street parking. We had to park in the garage for $3 for about a 45 minute visit. read more

I've now purchased three pairs of glasses from Warby Parker and can only say amazing things about the product itself and their customer service. When I went into this location I didn't really know what I was looking for but the sales associate was so friendly and helpful in handing me pairs I might like. She was very knowledgable about their inventory and did a great job showing me frames in my style. The store enforced covid restrictions and sanitized every pair I tried on before putting them back on display. I made an error in selecting the frames I wanted when I ordered them online later that day and when I spoke with Warby Parker's customer service department, they went above and beyond to help me-- I seriously could not have asked for better service. read more

This is both to review the store AND Warby Parker. First of all, bought a pair of reading glasses (not a complicated prescription) and rather than take 5 business days it took over 3 weeks to get my glasses. 1) the guy at the store forgot to place the order (did not even know how to use the order system as he was new and the other guy in the store could care less), 2) called a week later to follow up and Warby Parker customer service saw that the order had not been properly placed (if I would not have called They wouldn't have noticed), 3) told me to wait ANOTHER week and that they would ship them directly to me 4) a week later, I get an email that the glasses were ready for pick up AT THE STORE, they forgot to ship them directly to me. At that point they proceeded to call the store and ask them to ship them to me with courtesy shipping. Here we are, 3 weeks later and I still do not have my glasses. They told me I have to wait 3 to 5 more days cause their courtesy shipping is not expedited. After me getting really upset, they offered me a $20 credit, but I literally had to tell them I was going to dispute the charge on my AMEX. Customer service sux, and all this for Chinese made glasses.......NEVER AGAIN! read more

Not the friendliest experience I've had at that store. I was troubleshooting an issue I had with my frames and was given a bit of attitude. I'm not asking for adjustments for fun, I'm doing it so I can see clearly. I was clear that I did not want to switch lenses if any issues would come up but I was assured that it was a simple process. After I had them switched my lenses made a very annoying clicking noise. I ended up having to buy new frames after the ones I came in with got ruined. Smiling at me as a leave the store doesn't make up for the unfriendly treatment. The store was empty btw so I have no idea why I felt like I was being rushed by the optician. read more
