Optical centers are usually overwhelming and it's always seemed like an all day process to pick and order glasses. Warby Parker has made this process so simple and quick. I picked out some frames, was measured and offered upgrades and was checked out in record time. The entire process took less than 30 minutes. Another option that I like is the fact that they will ship the glasses to you. No need for a trip back to pick them up. I was quoted about a 3 week turn around but I recall that time being much shorter when I ordered glasses for my son. I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience, especially as a loyal Warby Parker customer who owns multiple pairs of your glasses. I had an appointment scheduled for today, which I booked earlier this week. I proactively submitted my insurance information ahead of time, only to be told that my insurance was not accepted. Wanting to clarify, I contacted my insurance provider directly, and they confirmed that Warby Parker is indeed a recommended provider. When I called customer service back to resolve the issue, I was told that I would need to pay upfront and then submit for reimbursement because of a third-party arrangement. What was most frustrating is that the representative did not attempt to reprocess or review my insurance information--there was no effort to resolve the issue, only a push for me to pay out of pocket. Because of this lack of support and clarity, I canceled my appointment and rescheduled with another provider, who accepted the exact same insurance without any issue. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. As a returning customer, I expected better communication, more thorough assistance, and a willingness to help resolve the issue instead of defaulting to an out-of-pocket payment solution. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers don't have to go through the same experience. read more

Warby Parker is a very satisfying business. I used them back when the presence was only online. I struggled a little with a couple of orders, but the problems were resolved fairly quick. Once I found out they had locations in the area. I visited one. The one off of Henderson in particular. I believe I have gone 4 to 5 times and have never had a bad experience. I have my glasses cleaned and tightened or straightened whenever I need and they are on it rather quickly and handover my items with a smile. To have a nice pair of glasses that come with antiglare standard really impressed me. I believe I am on my sixth pair of glasses and I spent the 90 $95 plus tax other than my sunglasses which were a little over $200 but are worth every penny. read more

I stopped in hoping that if I bought frames from Warby Parker they could install my year-old but still-perfect lenses in the new frames. (My existing frames were broken). Unfortunately, Warby Parker couldn't do that because I bought the lenses elsewhere. Fair enough, and I do accept this policy as reasonable. But the young man who don some with me at at Warby Parker was SO courteous and helpful! He didn't send me away disappointed: He referred me to an optician who might be able to do what I hoped to do. This led me to Payrite Optical. Payrite saved me $400+ by up-cycling my good lenses. I deeply appreciate Warby Parker's kindness in offering that referral. In this way they definitely met my need. I am changing my review -- Let me be clear I originally posted a horrible review of Warby Parker -- the company, not this specific store -- because of the horrendous customer service I received after spending $1,000 on glasses (literally), my order never shipped, then cancelled (for some reason,) and my money never being refunded. I finally HAD to go back to the store and act like a complete jerk, which I was embarrassed to do, but I could not get ANYONE at the corporate company to help me or give me back my money. After going back to the store, however, I was thoroughly impressed with the Customer Service at this particular store provided by the Store Manager, Sean. Sean was an absolutely outstanding example of what truly valuing a customer is all about. He clearly accepted the company's complete fubar handling of my order. He also ensured my money was fully refunded. Then he took care of making sure a new order was handled prompt and with care. I am waiting to see if the glasses actually show up this time, but I thought Sean at least deserved his due credit for being what is often very lacking today -- someone who gives a "poop" about another human being! I've been a Warby Parker customer since 2011 and this location has demonstrated the worst customer service experience I've ever had with the brand. I came in for their complimentary adjustment and left with one of my lens chipped and one side of my frames melted. The worst part of this situation was that I didn't discover the damage until AFTER I had left the store! Leo, the staff member who did the adjustment, was not forthcoming in the fact that he accidentally melted my glasses. I turned around after discovering the damage and went back inside to speak with the manager. Amanda was in charge and said she was busy with another customer but would get back to me regarding this issue, but instead she sent Leo back to apologize to me and offer a $50 credit towards a future purchase. I didn't want to buy new glasses, I wanted them to fix their mistake! Instead of offering to replace them, they wouldn't budge on their lame offering. I left the store and called the national customer service line who told me they were baffled the store handled it that way. They should have immediately offered to replace the glasses they damaged - even if my frames were an old model and discontinued. If it weren't for their national customer service, I would no longer be a loyal Warby Parker customer. I get mistakes happen, but when you don't own up to them for your customers, it makes the situation 100 times worse. read more

I had an appointment at 1045 AM on a holiday. I arrived at 1052 and waited 3-4 minutes as the store associates helped the only other customer in the store. When they greeted me I shared that I had an appointment for an eye exam and wanted to purchase glasses and a pair of sunglasses. The representative spoke with another associate and said they were sorry they could not accommodate me and to reschedule on a different day. My current glasses are scratched and I was hoping WP was going to come to the rescue. Instead of helping me, maybe calling around the Dallas area and seeing if there are any openings today at other stores, they turned me away and left me to my own devices and competition. I'm disappointed that WP stands by their 5 minute grace policy over customer needs. I'm sure the $.000005 in savings they made by not honoring my appointment is well worth the lifetime value of a customer and friends and family. Be better read more
