This is my third time getting glasses at this location. On my first visit, no one offered to help, so I left. I visited a couple more times and had a much better experience. My questions were answered and someone took the time to explain lens options, which was very helpful! I like Warby Parker bc they have frame widths from extra narrow to wide. They're committed to your comfort and adjusted my new glasses multiple times and very patiently. 1 star for my first experience and 4 stars for subsequent visits. On a beautiful Sunday I wondered into Warby Parker. I needed a new eye dr. And wanted to have a range of lower priced glasses to chose from. Four people in store and no one really looked up from their phone to greet me! The person making the appt was really useless I could've taken the iPad and input myself. I asked questions how much, what do I need to bring etc. well appt day is here! Walk in in my glasses. I needed eye glass and contact prescription. They couldn't do the contact part bc I did not have my contacts with me. I said I was not told to bring them. Now a week later I come back for the contact visit and the Dr said I don't know why you are here! Once again long drawn out story and she put contacts in my eye and made me read two Lines of letter. This was a fitting. Well this fitting did not include Dr looking at my eyes to see if they fit right . $75 later after this visit I left and will not re read more

Wow, looking at all of the reviews on how great their customer service really surprised me. I walked in their store today and was greeted but no one. There were three employees on site when I walked in, two of which were helping customers. I looked around at the frame selection wearing my glasses so it's clear that I wear them and no one said boo. When the customers were taken care of I looked around the selection once more and still no one said hello or offered assistance in any way. I left the store with a very unwelcomed vibe. Warby Parker is really famous online but I did not know there was store close by me. I was so glad to find this place in Westfield. Due to COVID restrictions, you have to go and put your name on the list (if there is one), and they will text you when its your turn. I didn't mind, within 15 minutes my turn came in and the service was really efficient. I normally hate shopping for eye wear but it was so easy to find something I like. Do not be shy to ask the staff for help, they have very good recommendations. After I made my purchase, the glasses came via mail within 7 days. WORTH MY TIME AND MONEY. FIVE STARS. I am saying this because I went to two other big brand name stores for an appointment and service, they both were over priced and the service was subpar. First and foremost, making and changing your appointment is straightforward. They courtesy called me to confirm each time even though I had to reschedule 2 times. Secondly, the staff from beginning to end were exceptional. Nicole, the assistant manager was my second point of contact and because of her patience and kindness, I decided to purchase my lenses from WP. I was planning on getting the script and ordering online. I was hesitant prior to having her work with me. It gets better, the eye doctor (didn't get her name) was personable and had good bedside manners. She answered ALL of my questions, just a wonderful person. Last but not least, the manager, again, did not get his name, was assertive and extremely helpful and friendly. Remembered I needed lenses for vacation and that I had an issue with a prior purchase. I'm so glad I was introduced to this company and that there is a location near me! For starters - this location was clean with happy vibes. The staff was friendly. The optometrist that is based here was very nice and thorough. He took a lot of time answering all of my questions and making sure I was tested for everything and given the correct prescription for both my glasses and contacts. Some notes: -This location does have an optometrist in house (back room) and if they don't take your vision plan you can still pay a fairly affordable fee for a thorough eye exam -I believe all of their lenses are anti-scratch / anti-glare -They have a lot of polarized sunglasses to choose from -You can order contacts from here as well as get a contacts lens screening -They carry children's frames as well. -Their glasses come in these cute little cases ! Downfall about the location - you do have to pay for parking in a lot nearby if you can't find street parking. Also a little pro tip about the company in general that is outlined on their website - for every pair you buy from them they donate a pair to someone in need or use the funding towards something good. I came here on opening day and was quickly greeted by Kevin. Kevin asked me what I was looking for and showed me a few options and ensured proper fit. I ended up going with the first pair he suggested for me - he definitely knows what he's doing and picked out a great pair for my face shape and features. As someone who relies on glasses daily I can't wait to pick up my new glasses and continue to visit this location when I want to mix my look up a bit. I had a fantastic experience at Warby Parker! I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of trying on glasses in the time of COVID, but the store had a system in place that if you tried on glasses you did not want, you would put them aside to be cleaned. After I picked out my pair, I had the fastest checkout I've ever had at a glasses store. Usually it would take me 1-2 hours in a store to clear everything up-- Warby Parker had me in and out in 10 minutes. All I had to do was hand in my prescription for a picture and get the glasses fitted. Two weeks later, and I had my perfectly fitted glasses in my hands. Love this store for its prices and convenience! Will definitely be returning for my next pair. read more

Warby Parker is one of my favorite companies, because they make nice, but affordable glasses. I remember back when I was a college student, and I had to wear the same broken, crappy glasses for years, because I couldn't afford a new pair. WP solves for this by eliminating distributors, and selling directly to you. The store looks and feels a lot like an Apple store, which I enjoy. The staff was friendly, but it took them a bit to realize that I needed help. That said, once they did, I got help right away and I choose two pairs really quickly, since the rep was able to quickly help me select stuff that looked good on my mug. My advice is: 1) don't be afraid to ask for help. I waited until someone noticed me because I felt uncharacteristically shy. I should have just asked. 2)I would use WP over almost any other eyewear reseller out there. You'll get quality at a good price. The only exception would be if you don't mind spending a bit more for imported, designer eyewear. Italian, French, and Japanese frames are awesome, but expensive (and worth every penny). If you are looking for normal glasses, don't be fooled by branding. Do yourself a favor, save some cash, and go to WP. They're awesome. read more

I've been wanting to check this company out for a while since Hubs told me that this is an online company. Imagine how happy I was when I was driving by and saw that Warby Parker has a store in Westfield! There's construction and traffic outside, so it was a pain in the butt finding a space. Had to make a few rounds before finding a spot. When daughter and I entered the store, we were immediately greeted by a woman. She asked if we had an appointment and we said no. She said to feel free to look around and to try on whatever frames we like. I like the service there. There wasn't any pressure nor did they follow us around. It's a pretty small store and there were frames all along each wall. Daughter found a pair that she liked. We were asked if she had a prescription and she didn't yet. She's very picky and wanted to pick a frame that she liked ahead of time. This way, when it's time for her checkup, she has one that she likes already rather than looking at the last minute. I was very happy with the price, frame and store. Surprisingly, the price was $10 less than what was listed on the shelf. I didn't get the name of the sales woman but she was pretty informative and friendly. Will definitely return to look when it's time for daughter to get new glasses again! read more

I went to Westfield NJ location, local store since it was convenient for me. I brought my RX from the eye doctor. I've picked couple of the frames and got some kind of assistance to choose appropriate size and fit. I mainly using my glasses for driving and usually leave them in the car in special compartment. After the hot summer was over i was driving and tried to use them and they did not fit me anymore. I realize that heat from the car during a summer made the glasses shrink in size. in addition, I'haven't recently gain any weight. When I contacted the store they gave me excuse that they are covering factory defects only, and that's not considered factory defect. However, the fact that they shrank is telling me that they must be using some cheap plastic to make the frames. My further research proved that their frames are made of cellulose acetate."What are the disadvantages of acetate? DISADVANTAGES: The dyes can fade or bleed, is heat sensitive, and is a relatively weak fiber."Can cellulose acetate be melted? The resultant cellulose acetate compound can be dissolved in certain solvents or softened or melted under heat" I would never go back to purchase anything there. Waste of money. The don't stand behind the product. So Sad...... Stay away from this brand everyone. read more

I scheduled an eye exam for 12:40pm. The night before, I received an email from Warby Parker explaining how to "ace my eye exam". Two pieces of advice were as follows: 1) Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out some light (we promise!) paperwork 2) If you arrive more than 5 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, we'll need to reschedule your exam to keep other customers' appointments on track The morning of my appointment, I received a confirmation phone call urging me to call them if I wasn't going to attend or needed to reschedule. I arrived for my appointment at 12:30pm, as requested. They handed me paperwork to fill out. At 12:40pm, I saw two different patients enter the two exam rooms. When I asked an associate, why I wasn't one of the ones called in at 12:40, they said there were some late appointments so they were backed up and it was going to be another 20-30 minutes until they could get to me. First off, why didn't they call me to tell me they were running behind? Second, when I arrived at 12:30pm and told them I was there for a 12:40pm appointment, why didn't they tell me they were running behind? Third, why don't they adhere to their own policies of rescheduling other peoples appointments when they're late, so this doesn't happen to me? Strike one, strike two, strike three, they're out. They don't value my time, therefore they don't value my business. I will shop elsewhere. read more

Disappointed. I was excited to get in on the Warby Parker experience as I love to support entrepreneurs. My husband needed new glasses so we headed to this store hoping for style and savings. I found the selection to be a sea of sameness. And all of the styles had these weird wings at the outer upper corners. So if you wanted round frames your choice was round with wings. If you wanted rectangle you got that with wings. If you wanted cat eye you were in luck because wings work with that shape. We tried to find something that would work but in the end, left the store and went around the corner to i to eye. Much more expensive but worth it. Tremendous selection, skilled staff. All we have is now. Our time. After a pleasant and swift visit with some pleasant Westfield Warby salespeople, I bought a $250 pair of glasses. I was told I'd have them in 10 days via mail. Over the next twelve days, I followed up and found out their priority was Warby Parker: you will not get it until we have enjoyed the full luxury of 10 days - not including weekends or Presidents' Day. Excuse after excuse until they committed to February 25 to deliver my February 10 order. Maybe. Then on the twelfth day, their lab in upstate New York got around to looking at the order. "Gee, we can't make your glasses". They suggested preparing the wrong prescription lens to fit their frame I'd unenthusiastically selected. (All cheap looking) Two weeks of my life lost to uncaring incompetence. No attempt to do anything to keep me as a customer except to agree to an instant refund...which...I'm still waiting for. Surrealeyewear? Within minutes he responded from Colorado and we emailed about my options and prescription. More expensive but a serious enterprise. If you want serious professionals and compassionate retailers with quality frames and lenses, my opinion is to run away from Warby. But put your glasses on first or you'll trip. I end on a light note to dissipate my anger. They were fairly cavalier and light hearted throughout their delay and final admission of incompetence. That was an even more roiling layer. The happy ending is that I got wonderful glasses at Surreal and one of the Warby Managers took to heart my complaints which I went to great lengths to explain to her - Betsy was receptive and hopeful it will improve their service but beware. read more

I did not plan on getting glasses on the day I visited the store. They were very nice and I got an eye exam on the spot. I was told that I will get my glasses in about 2 weeks; however, I got them in 3-4 days. My main goal was to have my prescription correct (not an obvious thing for most eye stores I visited in my life). The prescription was spot on, which made me very happy. Just had a fantastic shopping experience at this store. First of all, the space itself is extremely clean and inviting. The layout is nice and open. It's easy to browse the frames and try them on. The staff is extremely helpful, but not at all pushy if you just want to look around. Melissa in particular was SO friendly and patient as she made a number of fine tuning adjustments on the pair of sunglasses I bought so that I would be 100% satisfied with how they fit. My boyfriend can be a little difficult and took a little over an hour to find one pair of sunglasses and one pair of eyeglasses. Our sales person Lou could not have been more accommodating. Last year, I broke down and finally ordered my first pair of progressives from the Warby Parker in Westfield. The progressives are more expensive than regular prescription glasses, but I needed them, so I found a pair of frames I liked and bought them along with a pair of computer glasses. Fast forward six months, after recovering from knee surgery, I fell in my driveway late in the day. Thankfully my knees were okay, but the glasses got thrown off and one of the arms of the frames had bent almost in half. I was so upset, but I got someone to drive me down to the shop - since it's open until 7 pm most weeknights (!) and they salvaged my lenses and replaced my frames with an entirely new pair - FOR FREE!! I was so ecstatic about the service that from now on that's where I'll go for ALL my family's eyewear needs. Thank you Warby Parker, for understanding how customer service is DONE!! read more

My wife ordered 2 pairs of prescription glasses. She was unaware that her prescription had expired. A company that cared about their customers would have called or emailed her or otherwise informed her that they could not fulfill the order. What Warby Parker did was to place non-prescription lenses (and these were not sunglasses) in and not even tell her. It is only when she complained that her vision was blurry and went to the eye doctor did she discover what had been done. This was my 3rd visit to Warby Parker over the past 6 or so years and I was shocked to find out that the glasses (frames + lenses) still cost the same! Basically $95-$135 depending on which lens you chose (that's your total cost!!). You can't beat this price. Their frames are actually very nice and stylish and there are enough choices but not too many to be overwhelming. You can ship your glasses directly to your home at no extra charge. The staff are very nice and knowledgable. Very positive experience overall. Will be coming back for some sunglasses. read more

I'm so happy! I walked in and was immediately greeted. I was told to fill out paperwork( which was an easy 1.5 pages). I started trying frames on and a couple employees helped me pick the right ones.
