The guys in the firearms section are very knowledgeable, are seasoned experienced shooters themselves, and are willing to talk through my needs to find me the right gun in the price range I choose. I get to handle the guns, if I want to try out the grip, sights, or the trigger. They have provided me with more than a few shotguns, rifles, and pistols over the years, and all have been good choices at competitive prices. I highly recommend McCoy's. I have never been treated poorly by anyone there. The owner is highly regarded by the employees as well.

He said that it usually is a struggle for people to get them on their feet the very first time that they try, and that it usually takes quite a while. But they put their own tubes in at no charge since they didn't spot it beforehand! OMG! I mentioned I needed a tire pressure gauge because my car's TPMS light was on. And they checked and added air to my car tires at no charge!! I still bought the gauge to keep in the glove compartment. Highly recommend this place!!

The owner has amassed a collection of pocket knives and other historic memorabilia worthy of an admission charge that is actually free here. My youngest son has always been very found of knives and weaponry. So any trip with him to Gulf Shores is not complete until we go here to St Nick's Knives. The shop employee was extremely helpful and nice. I see that a lot of other reviewers have been unhappy with high prices but these guys have premium products like Spyderco, Gerber, Kershaw and much much more. Or even other reviewers unhappy about the 3% surcharge for credit card purchases. Well fellow consumers if you were not already aware, that's the same price each merchant has to pay for us to use our plastic cards, so this shop is simply passing on the cost to only those who use cards. Meaning cash gets a bit of a break. Hint, hint!
