I am a big fan of Warehouse Wine and Spirits. They have a large wine selection, with everything from inexpensive wines all the way to magnums of limited edition, very fancy stuff in locked cases. They also have a good selection of beer. What I like most about this place is the very large selection of spirits. Like the wine, they have expensive as well as inexpensive booze. Also, they always seem to be running specials on various wines and spirits. The staff here is very casual, chatty and friendly - no creepy employee stalking you at distance. For instance, during my last visit, while I was waiting in line with several large bottles, an employee noticed me struggling and grabbed an empty box, and put my bottles in the box as the cashier rang me up - a nice touch. I was looking forward to trying this store. While they did have a large selection of wine and beer, their prices seemed rather high and the customer service was completely out the window. There was no greeting on the way in, no 'did you find everything ok?' I brought my goods to the counter and asked if it was open to checkout (as the guy looked as though he was trying to look busy) and the response was 'well I'm standing here aren't I?' I don't drink much alcohol, so it's kind of funny to review this place, but I do buy liquor for corporate events, personal and business gifts, parties, etc. These guys are completely knowledgeable about what they sell, and can break it down to something meaningful for amateurs (like me!). I went in once with specific criteria for a substantial purchase of French wines & purchased everal excellent bottles for a good price, thanks to the advice of the resident expert (I think his name is Fred?). Went in once looking for a specific type of vodka, and the gentleman working at the time educated me about the process of making several types, and then opened a bottle & poured a sample for me to demonstrate his points! If you want to pick up a quick 12 pack or bottle of Johnny Walker, they have all that too, no problem...it's not a chi-chi place, they just meet the needs of a wide variety of cutomers. This place differentiates itself by educating customers who aren't sure what they're looking for. Impressive cider selection, not flooded with just mainstream big name producers, lots of smaller names and local cider makers. Staff was friendly and knew about cider, so for me (an avid cider drinker) this place is great! The beer selection also was not the biggest I have ever seen but had some of the better beers I have come across in my travels. Great prices (some better than NH), very friendly and informed staff. i inquired with Alex about a certain seasonal beer from Hawaii that has been impossible to find. He took down my name and number and said he'd inquire with his Inbev guy, low and behold a few days later, he called with great news that he has sourced a couple cases with one set aside for me. I have stopped in here a few times now and customer service is totally non existent. Employees do not greet you are acknowledge your presence even if you are clearly in need of assistance finding something. Even when you are cashing out and are forced to interact you are lucky if they even speak to you. A few times I have asked if they carried certain products and you usually get a solid "NO." not the typical "No we don't but we do have xyz that is similar". Zero customer service. I'm also surprised there are so many comments speaking to the great selection because I am not impressed by the selection at all. Maybe compared to other places in Framingham this would be considered impressive but compared to even a grocery liquor store like Wegmans this is really lacking. On top of all these issues it's very overpriced. My most recent visit will 100% be my last as I prefer to give my business to establishments that act like they value their customers and so far the behavior from the employees at Warehouse Wine and Spirits is seriously lacking. Just today when I stopped in an employee knocked a glass off a display a foot from my head which shattered all over the floor and when I jumped a bit given the vicinity of it and the cashier said "No one got hurt" like I was being extremely dramatic. The setup of the store is aesthetically pleasing. Wine bottles in wooden crates make you feel as though you could possibly be in your own wine cellar. The customer service was stellar. I was on my way to a family dinner and had my three children with me. I was holding my sleeping three year old. After finding a bottle of wine, I asked where I could find a specific beer. Instead of telling me where I could find it, I was told to stay where I was. The gentleman running the register said he'd get it for me. Asked if I preferred cold or warm. Nothing to write home about (thats anything good). I stopped in to order some wine that I really like and I was told it will be here in a week. Well long story short, a week went by no phone call, so another week goes by and I stop in. The person I talked to didn't have any record of ordering my wine but took my name and number and said "Someone will call you later today and let you know whats going on". Well no one called then either. Two more weeks went buy. I went up to Maine and was in a store and saw the wine there and just picked up 6 bottles. Came back to Massachusetts and then 3 days after my trip to Maine was over (4 week and 3 days from the first day of ordering), I get a call saying "We have your wine, when are you gonna come and get it?". The only reason it gets a 2nd star at this point is because they have for the most part a giant selection, prices are ok. read more

I don't get to this place often but I stopped in today 12/13/18 between 3:30p-4p and was looking for an IPA for my boyfriend, he wasn't w me and he's always looking for something new... so when I was asked if I needed help finding anything, I told the man what style IPAs my boyfriend likes and what he really doesn't like... he made several recommendations and was very knowledgeable and helpful... so much that he even sold 2 4 Pks from people just listening in on him talking to me... so I went w the same 4 pk that the 2 other patrons purchased and SCORE!! My boyfriend was blown away how much he liked it since the can read New England IPA... and he typically doesn't like them... but I told this man exactly what he doesn't like in IPAs and bam this guy nailed it... sorry I didn't get his name... but he recommended Night Shift's Jump Rope Double IPA... thank you!!! I can't really comment on the price like some have but I found the selection to be quite good (especially the craft beers) and the staff friendly. I was given space to browse but the staff also made a spot on suggestion. Feels lighter and nicer than most liquor stores and I would definitely continue to shop there. read more

My boyfriend and I are big fans of this place! They have a great selection and the prices are definitely on par with other stores in the area, sometimes lower, sometimes higher. On different occasions we have both inquired about specific beers which were not in stock and they ordered a case for us. No pressure to buy the whole thing (even though we did!) either! Everyone we encounter on the staff is always friendly and willing to give you some input, advice on picking something out or just talk about products in general. I've never felt rushed and I always feel like I can wander and just see what's available on my own terms. I walked in and went near the back of the store where the rum is. 2 employees were working: an older woman and an older gentleman. I knelt down to take a closer look at the bottle and saw on my left was the older elderly lady watching me. When she noticed I saw her she walked away. Then I looked to my right and saw the old elderly gentleman on my right staring at me. They assumed I came to steal. Don't discrimnate against your customers and make yourself seem like a racist. as others have noted, customer service is hit or miss. I thought the store was convenient, as it had a machine that takes bottles, cans, and plastic. However, it fills quickly. The last two times it filled during my time. Asking an employee to empty it, I am greeted as if I am bothering the store clerk. I will find another place to spend money and time. read more

Fantastic selection of hard to find whisky and other hard liquors, as well as an expansive wine selection. Let's not forget the beer. There is often tastings - so be sure to stop in - especially when you are looking for that perfect bottle. The selection here is incredible. They have a bunch of rare and local brews you can't find anywhere else... and if they don't have it, they can order it for you. I tried a beer at an Italian Restaurant in Florida called Birra Morretti La Rosa. NO ONE HAD IT! I tried at least 10 different stores. Well I went into here and was about to give up. One of the people working there, who I'm guessing was the owner saw that I was disappointed and asked what I was looking for. When I told him, he said that I wasn't the first to ask about it and that maybe they should consider keeping a case on the shelf. Then he offered to order me a case. It took a week or so to come in, but I got my La Rosa. So I was very happy! They also have an awesome Meade called Vikings Blod... which I believe means blood. Interesting. The alcohol content is pretty high and it's dangerously sweet, but I've never seen another place that carries it. I tried it on a whim and loved it. So yeah, if they don't have what you're looking for, chances are that they can get it for you. I've been back many times to grab different things now and then and I'd say 90% of the time they have what I want. Any criticism? Yeah well... okay, what a few others have said about finding help is true. The staff aren't always at the front counter and you do have to look for them sometimes, but they're usually quick once they see you. Secondly, it took me a while to find this place to write the review. I had no idea this place was called 'Warehouse Wine and Spirits.' The sign on the building just says Wine and Spirits. The only place it says Warehouse is on a small canvas sign next to the road. Other than that, this place is awesome! read more

I have been to this establishment several times as it is conveniently located next to Whole Foods Market. My experience today was obnoxious at best. The man at the counter did not even look up from his conversation with a fellow co-worker to greet incoming customers. When I politely asked where I might find Scotch, the man simply pointed, never even looking to see who was asking. What's more.... he didn't even have the decency of uttering a single word to me, nevermind inquiring if I was looking for a specific bottle/brand. He appeared 'put out' that I was interrupting his light conversation with his female coworker. This blatant lack of customer service was appalling, and I will never spend another dollar at Warehouse Wine & Spirits, again. read more

Excellent selection of Belgian beers and craft beers. Helpful, friendly staff too. But way overpriced -- expect to pay a good $2 more for a six-pack and $2-$5 more for a bomber than at other locations in the area. read more
