Valet is complementary which is a nice touch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service is incredibly quick from the time you order to when you receive your meal. Food was absolutely delicious. Hubby and I ordered a few appetizers as well as the chefs tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The appetizers we chose were the charred octopus and the fire roasted oysters. Both were wonderful but the octopus was a standout. For the tasting menu, it changes daily and is 4 courses with a dessert course to round out the meal. Ours happened to include: Sausage w olive tapenade, Filet w tomato and veggie chow chow (so tasty), Duck tostada w avocado crema, Elk filet w hasselback potatoes and asparagus (show stopper), and Orange rice pudding w pistachio cookie crumble which was such a nice, light way to end the meal. One thing to note: they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill which is split between all front of house and back of house staff. Anything you leave above this will go directly to your waiter. There are lots of pool tables; some are coin-op and others you rent. Depending on which table you're playing at, you might not be close to a TV monitor. There are a number of big screens inside, but nearly enough that they should be calling themselves a sports bar in my opinion. The bar is OK and the staff were pleasent enough. I tried their deep friend mushrooms. They were actually pretty good! But heads up. This place charges a mandatory gratuity of 18% on all orders with the exception of visitors coming in early M-Th. Add that on top of already high prices and you're in pretty deep. Advice: in Florida (and most states), paying mandatory gratuity charges are not actually required (or legal) and they cannot force you to pay it. If you're dissatisfied with your service, you can line out the mandatory gratuity and put in whatever you feel is appropriate. However, I've also heard that it may be legal as long as it is posted...which it was. I would have rated another star higher had it not been for the mandatory gratuity...which is the highest I've ever run into in my travels. As a single traveler, I don't feel the overall price was reasonable. So I won't be back.
