    Random Sunday night dinner stop.

We came here on a whim late one night with my family, including a toddler. We made our time work and was able to order promptly at the bar. We had the Philly, wings and Jack fruit tacos. We enjoyed everything we ordered just fine.

Great place! Cool joint with pool tables, food and a full bar. Service is great as well. I really enjoyed their Buffalo sauce. It was nice to have something within an easy walk of my hotel. Overall great vibe and my go to when I'm flying out of TLH.

A college bar with a trendy look outside and a simple, bare bones set up inside. Function over style. Walking in so reminded me of the old Train Wreck on W. Tennessee. Simple tables and chairs with a bar in the back and a patio further back where the Airstream kitchen is located. We came for Trivia Thursday between Christmas and New Years and there was a pretty good crowd considering the college students were away. Obviously trivia games are a good draw. We had a great time even if we didn't take first place.

I tried fried pickles for the first time and I love it. It is a really good beer appetizer. Onion rings were good. They are serving French fries with pork, if you don't eat pork keep in mind that!

Called an order in for wings I simply asked what sauces were available and was told by JASON that I should go online and look at a menu because he didn't have time to look and tell me due to a "full bar" after I expressed that I too was a paying customer he then read the sauces off (with sass) and then asked if I wanted anything else, took my name and then hung up on me. I work RIGHT down the street. I walked in and immediately Jason walked out to take a smoke break. (Funny since he said the bar was so full) I asked another employee about my order and he said it wasn't in the system. I was upset because I allotted them the 15 mins they said it would've taken to prepare the order and walked down. He searched everywhere and said I wasn't in the system. I was upset because I had a feeling Something would go wrong with my order given the sass I got on the phone; JASON also lied and said his name was JOHN. coincidentally Jason walks in and acts clueless! He then says "oh you hung up on me I didn't get the order" my friends and I all heard the conversation so we knew different. He CHOSE not to put the order in because he felt a way about my call in. I told him that I was being robbed of my meal and he told me to "call the police" I then told him he was an asshole and wanted someone else to service me! The first employee that looked up my order told me I had to leave for using profanity. RIDICULOUS! It was NOT mg first time there so I know that wasn't a rule. It's a BAR. they refused my service. I expected better from this establishment. Better customer service and better treatment. My friends, clients, and family will NOT be giving anymore of our money to this establishment and I'll be sure of it.

This place is a dive and I love it. How have I not been here yet? Came here to see This Wild Life play with 3 other bands which were all really good. The bartenders were all super nice and fast. I want to come back for the food because the whole place smelled amazing. The bathrooms were also pretty clean. They also accept credit cards so that's a win.

A great local spot for local music, drinks, and even lunch! Although I've been coming to the Wilbury for a while for live music and drinks in the evening, I was recently surprised to find that they also offer a solid lunch deal for $7 for a BBQ sandwich or tacos, plus a side. I went with the BBQ Brisket Sandwich and loved it! With it only being a short walk from the Capital and other state office buildings, I'm glad I have another great option for lunch from such an expected place! Just like it's predecessor St. Michael's, the Wilbury has become a favorite local hangout for live music and drinks in it's few years of operation. The selection of alcohol, especially craft beer, makes it easy to find something to drink while you listen to the band or play one of the arcade games scatter around. But, if you're not as interested in whichever band is playing that night, you can always head outside for some peace and quiet to enjoy the night air. Overall, the Wilbury is everything that makes Tallahassee fun to spend a night out in and offers a home to foster the local music scene!

The delicious brisket tacos, gremlin fingers in the middle, and The Wilbury at the end. All amazing!

I've had the brisket platter and the Seminole. The Seminole is a sampler: two pulled pork sandwiches, wings, ribs, sausage and corn bread. The brisket platter is a couple strips of brisket and two sides. I love their pulled pork, ribs and brisket. Also, the Smokehouse Chips and Hot Honey Cornbread are tasty. The only thing I haven't liked are the wings which were dry and tough. Also, while I loved the brisket, there wasn't much of it. The Seminole on the other hand is enough for two people. Their sauces are sooo good. I've tried Carolina Tangy Gold, Spicy BBQ and Gochu Sauce. They were all really good. My favorite is the Spicy BBQ.

I had the pulled pork slider and a side of collards that was quite good. My husband had the wing platter that came with two sides and cornbread. We enjoyed everything. The wings were a little on the small side but still flavorful. The mac & cheese and green beans were also tasty. I didn't try the cornbread because it's a hot honey and I do not like spice but I have heard good things about it. I hear the salmon dinner is also good. The prices are a little steep but what isn't these days? I'd definitely give them another try.

I don't know if that was because they didn't want to take what Uber Eats was offering or if it was too close to their closing time. Both times that I successfully ordered, the food came quickly and was well packed. You will see that from the photos. The first order included ribs, rib strips, smoked sausage and a Jamaican beef patty. The second order was fried pork chops for both of us. The entrees were ok and the sides were impressive. The ribs/rib strips were oven cooked and pre-sauced and were pretty plain. The smoked sausage turned out to be a on a bun and was good but a little overcooked dry. The Jamaican beef patty was bland and looked like it might be those frozen ones you see in the grocery store. The fried pork chops were moist but pretty plain too. The wow was the sides. The baked beans have a unique and addictive taste. The corn on the cob is fried and was delicious. The mac 'n cheese was tasty. The only side that was disappointing were the greens. To be honest, as plain as the entrees were, I would order from them again just because of the sides. I'll just have to keep trying other entrees to see if I can find that wow item. P.S. They put slices of bread under those entrees. Good for soaking up any grease. Kept those fried pork chops from getting soggy on the bottom.

Where once was a Shell gas station/mini mart on the corner of Thomasville Road and 7th Avenue is now a red food trailer serving smoked delights for you to take home. Mr. King cooks up some good ribs, chicken, pulled pork and sausage on that corner and the side options complete the meal but you best save room for some bread pudding too. He told me he has been working on perfecting that bread pudding and I think he has been successful. There's lots of parking and some outdoor seating if you can't wait until you get your food home.

We tried to follow him but it was rare to find the stand open. It has probably been ten years since we last found him open and I have been jonesing for his delicious smoked bbq the whole time! We have had all kinds of different versions of bbq all over the country. They can vary quite a bit and we have never had a bad experience; but King's, now called Drive-Thru BBQ Tally, right here in Tallahassee, is my favorite by far. Thank you to the foodies who alerted us to this location. I am not one to be able to break down the intricacies of ingredients and flavor profiles, I am only able to give a general idea of the taste. His sauce is not a thick tomato based one like most and the meat is not overly rubbed or seasoned but has a good smoke flavor to it. His sauce is the consistency of maple syrup with the color of golden honey. It is sweet and flavorful, which I love. I have never seen bbq sauce like this. We braved a Tallahassee afternoon monsoon today and got soaking wet getting our order and it was worth it. We ordered the DT BBQ Bundle #1, which included 1.5 slabs smoked ribs (I counted 20 bones); 5 smoked chicken leg quarters with thighs and drumsticks separated, and five smoked sausage links, as well as four large sides. We chose baked beans, mac and cheese, cole slaw and potato salad. The sides are great and round out a full meal. The smoked sausages are some of the best I have had anywhere. There is more than enough food for five to ten adults. We will be using this for meals for several days. At less than $50, this is the best meal deal in town, bar none! The menu includes ribs, chicken or sausage dinners, pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches, desserts, and more sides than we named above. Drive-Thru BBQ is at the corner of 7th Avenue and Thomasville Road in Mid-Town. They are open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 8(or until they sell out). Be sure to get there early so you don't miss out. I hope this iteration of Mr. King's BBQ (see dtbbqtally on FB) sticks around for a long time. I don't want to have another unrequited craving for a decade again.

Got lean brisket, pulled chicken and classic sausage. The pulled chicken was flavorful and I would get it again but the brisket and sausage were bland. The fries are like home cut and cooked style, similar to 5 Guys but not as salty. We enjoyed them. The baked beans were bland. The wife enjoyed the cornbread but it was crumbly. The dining area is one big space with a variety of seating options including booths and tables for 2, 4 and more. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Drinks are DIY although there is an ice cooler on the way in with some specialty soda bottles to choose from. We shall return at least one more time with our friends because they live nearby and want to check it out and i will give the pulled pork a try then but it's likely I will stick to the BBQ places closer to home that we enjoy.
