Great experience this morning at Dr. Warners office. I took all three of my toddlers in at the same time. The office was very accommodating by giving them an appointment at the same time all together, in the same room. When we walked in they were incredibly cheerful and greeted my kids by name even before we said who we were. I love Dr. Warner and his team. I started going to Dr. Warner 4 years ago when I learned that he was very familiar with one of my daughters rare genetic condition. It is always a wonderful experience for my kids and Dr. Warner does an amazing job communicating with me about my kids dental needs and ways to improve their brushing while keeping it fun and interesting for the kids. His team is amazing as well! They are extremely caring and always willing to offer a helping hand with my three little ones while we try and rotate through cleanings. Because they have done such an amazing jobs with my kids over the years when I moved to LA I decided it was worth the drive back to Encinitas to continue care with their team. I would give dr. Warner and his staff ten stars if I had that option. He has the nicest personality and it honestly rubs off on his staff because they are a bunch of the sweetest, most caring people. My 4 year old had 8 cavities and is not the easiest patient when it comes to dental visits. The patience that Dr. Warner and his staff showed us over 3 visits is absolutely outstanding and honestly unheard of in this day and age. Money was the last thing on Holly, the admins' mind and on our last visit she even went the extra step to save me hundreds of dollars by clarifying my insurance issue. My daughter, who refused to walk through the front door...crying hysterically because she was aware of the pending procedure, walked out of there laughing and cheerful. It was like night and day. I wish we had more of these wonderful people around us, who exude so much kindness, warmth and go above and beyond their call of duty. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about our first trip to the pediatric dentist. Everyone we encountered at Warner Pediatric Dental from the first phone call with Holly the receptionist, to the dental hygienist Nichelle and Dr. Warner, were extrememly friendly, professional and phenomenal with toddlers! I brought my 18 month old daughter there today for her first visit. It was really amazing. The office is bright, modern, cute and clean! Dr. Warner sang to my daughter as he examined her teeth, he was seriously like a toddler whisper. He has a gift (I was also told he has 5 kiddos, so he must get a lot of practice with little ones). We moved to Encinitas about a year ago, after living in AZ for a year. Amidst the commotion of moving twice in two years, changing jobs, getting insurance, etc, my 7-year-old had yet to visit a dentist in her life. To say the least, she was scared (as she also is to see doctors because she thinks she's always going to get shots), and I was nervous to be lectured. She only has two adult teeth so far, with 2 molars coming in, but has never complained about achey teeth, and I keep a pretty close eye on her hygeine. The staff here was wonderful and patient with my frightened little girl. They showed her the tools to be used and also let her feel them before they put them in her mouth. Noisy things tend to scare her, so this was a huge help. The technology in the office is top-notch, and Dr. Warner was very kind and saved the lecture about her not seeing a dentist before, which I really appreciate. Although if she had any cavities or issues, the lecture probably would've been warranted. Instead, I got praise about her excellent hygeine, and I am sure that made her feel good, too. Now if I can just find a dentist for myself that won't lecture me for not getting a cleaning in over 2 years ;) Thanks, Dr. Warner and staff, we will definitely be returning! read more

What a wonderful practice!!!! Our daughter had gone to another dentist who wanted to go straight to the drill (teeth tickling!). I was able to get her in on short notice for a cleaning and a reassessment, as well as the application of a silver treatment to combat cavities without any tickling. Wonderful experience! Love this office. The friendly atmosphere and heart felt calming experience EVERY TIME. I will continue to drive 45 minutes just so I can have excellent service. Love the staff, Holly and assistants are amazing and so polite and helpful. When I schedule 5 for my children the appointments go quick and I am in and out in no time. I took my 3 children here (5,4,1) after finding a coupon in the buy on get one free magazine and checking yelp reviews. I My first impression of the office is, clean, bright, modern and very friendly. All the 3 assistant staff we interacted with were great, professional and reached out and engaged my children. My 1 year old was nervous and Dr. Warner started to sing ABC's to help calm her nerves! My 5 year old loved watching the TV on the ceiling. My 4 year old would not let the last dentist touch him, the staff and Dr. Warner were so good and personable to him that they were able to do all x-rays, cleaning and exam and he actually loved it and wants to go back! Dr. Warner was very kind, professional and I did not feel like I was ever trying to be sold on anything. I will definitely be returning here and recommending to others. read more

We recently brought our 2 and almost 4 year old to see Dr. Warner. Needless to say, the kids were not excited to go to the dentist for the first time. Our son was crying as we entered the door. However, right away Dr. Warner and his staff made effort to make our kids feel comfortable. They were personable, took time to explain what was going on, and put our children at ease. This review is about the front desk Regina, who is rude and very unprofessional. I brought my daughter in for her check up and cleaning on Wednesday afternoon. When we first walk in the was no greeting, second of all we are a cash patient and I was told one price over the phone and ended up paying way over if what I was told over the phone. First of all, she should've went over the pricing before they performed any services and before they took my child back. At the end of the visit they charged me $168.00 for exam, cleaning and xrays for a 7 y.o and I thought was way over priced since I do work in the dental field and know the pricing. Regina keep saying well that's the price since you don't have insurance.....I told her we do have insurance, we just choose to come to private office and pay cash instead of going to the PDS or western dental and getting her cleaning done for free. Regina had me sign a receipt and threw a pen across the table seriously......after I had paid full price $168.00 even Dr.Warner offered to honor a price of $110.00 that was quoted over the phone. I'm very disappointed in a costumer service from Regina and could not believe that she would treat a paying costumer like this...... read more

The staff in the office was so great - the Dental Assistant, Loren, was so sweet and kind, taking cues from my daughter on what she was up for and capable of handling (X-rays are tough for anyone, especially a 5 year old!), and then Dr. Warner - so kind. Beyond. You can tell he's a Dad (of 5 according to the photo on the wall!), because he got down on my daughter's level, looked her in the eyes, warmly spoke to her about her fears and calmed her down after talking her through it. He was way more patient than I was! He even hummed "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" while working on my girls. Kindness from everyone, attentiveness, not being forceful, I can't say enough positive things. Thank you!! read more

First appointment for our toddler, and it went great. Nice office, toys for the kids, and we didn't have to wait very long. And, they have Saturday hours which was perfect so that both my wife and I could be there for the first dentist visit. Not too crowded when we where there, and Dr Warner took time to chat with us. My two boys love going to Dr. Warner and his team! It's such a fun experience from start to finish. The hygienists are so kid friendly and chats with the kids both for fun and to explain what's going on. I had brought my (then) 2,5 year old to watch while my older one had his checkup. They offered to have him try it out and ended up laying in my lap, with his head resting on first the hygienist and then Dr. Warner while doing a full checkup. From there on he's jumped up in the chair without hesitation since he was given the space and comfort he needed the first time. I took my 4 year old to Dr. Warner for the first time today and couldn't be more pleased. The office is lovely and has a fun game room for the little ones, video games for the bigger kids, and good magazines for the parents (haha). Vanessa, the hygenist was so patient and sweet that she got my nervous preschooler to complete her x-rays and cleaning with no tears. We were looking for a new dentist because my 5 year old wouldn't let the last dental assistant x-ray her teeth and she was very scared during the cleaning. I didn't like how the dental hygienist at the last place reacted to my daughters concerns and anxiety and basically just told her "oh well, I guess we can't see your cavities now you have to brush more" and left it at that. We went in to Warner Pediatric Dental and my daughter let them do everything they needed to!!! The Dental Assistant was great with her and made it so easy, she was even laughing and smiling during the process! Unfortunately since we didn't get the xrays before she had developed some cavities on her back teeth (okay, I guess I should have been flossing too). Dr. Warner was very calming when he talked to her about having to "remove some sticky stuff from her teeth" and she was actually happy to hear that she would have to come back next week (we didn't use the words "cavity" "drill" "filling" "shot" per Dr. Warner's advice) The receptionist was so warm and sweet, the office was super clean and provided enough entertainment for the kids without it looking like an arcade! I've taken two of my four daughters in to see Dr. Warner so far. Our visit was great. The staff was wonderful. Natalie was so sweet and made my girls feel right at home as she took their x-rays and Dr. Warner is kind and patient (he even sings to some of his lucky patients)! I love the convenient location and that the office offers free Wifi. The kids can earn quarters for a good check-up and can use them in gum ball machine filled with bouncy balls and toys. How cute is that?!? The greatest thing of all though....I was able to get an appointment within a week! Our former pediatric dentist was great but you couldn't get an after school appointment in under six months. I will be going back soon to take my two older daughters! read more

My son usually goes to another dentist but had an accident and had to see a dentist today, emergency visit. Our regular dentist is at a medical conference. I called Dr Warner this morning and they were able to squeeze him in his schedule today. The office is super friendly and a relax atmosphere. Went here because they had a special for exam and teeth cleaning and I was looking for a new dentist for my son. They said he had 7 cavities! He is only 12 and I was so upset. I left with the 1300.00 price quote and I went to another dentist for a second opinion. This dentist actually brought me back to see the X-ray myself and they conducted another exam with me in the room. He has not even one cavity!! She sealed his teeth for free because it is considered preventive. Warner dental was charging 56.00 per tooth for this. The best pediatric dentist office hands down! Previous dentist wouldn't treat my son due to anxiety. His recommendation was to put my son under to have his tonsils removed at Children's hospital while doing his dental work. His pediatrician said removing his "kissing tonsils" was unnecessary. So, we immediately changed dentists. Dr. Warner was able to treat all my boys with no anxiety and no need for sedation. Xrays are a breeze too.
