They installed a new motor on one door which didn't work and stated it needed to be connected to wifi when we get service. Turns out it wasn't WiFi - I called an overhead door company to get it working and the track was installed backwards and wired incorrectly. The overhead door company had to reconstruct, rewire, and brace the newly found broken door which wasn't brought up. It was close to $1000. I asked their realtor to reimburse me for the correction as it was on the sales contract, and the realtor said of course they will - he talked to EP Construction and they said they'll get a check out to me. They never sent it. Now the realtor is ignoring my emails as well as emails from my realtor in this transaction. Crooked company and the garage door was only one of many things. Could have been easier guys and I was patient - now you have a bad review. Keep the money - you're going to need it the way you do business.

So disappointed in the follow-up for my landscape projects. The nursery stock, when delivered, was…read morebeautiful. The paver patio was installed perfectly, but the follow-up stunk! I had materials replaced in my front and rear yards. In the back they installed 3 tall yews. After a few days 2 of the 3 started leaning. I notified my project manager and salesperson and they asked me to send photos. Also a small plant in the back started coming out of the ground which made me inspect and realize the holes really weren't prepared correctly. Just dug to accomodate the new plant and filled around the sides. That's not how I was told to do it properly years ago. A river rock area in the back was also not contained to the area it was designed to cover and the rock had slid into the yard and adjacent mulch. I notified them on April 12 and finally someone came April 30th. By then there were dead limbs on the yews that they staked. They did not replant the other small plant. And as to the rock issues, "There is nothing on the drawing about any kind of edge getting put in. Even a shovel edge. It is laid according to the drawing you signed." REALLY??? I depended on them to adequetly design the project and paid well for it. On May 1 I send a letter to Adam the owner and no response. As much as I hate to say it, I would avoid this company.

So we had the home sheathed/wrapped. This left the new siding as needing to be sourced. I contacted Jon via AL and spoke with him directly. He is very kind and knowledgeable, and helps keeps the conversation light. After expressing my interest in insulated siding, he recommended a couple different options over the phone. He offered to pop by that day with some samples, which he did, and helped me see some differences in the product offerings. I let him know that there was a team coming in before the siding company, and they were going to remove the existing siding, then skin in OSB and wrap in Tyvek. After going back/forth on the color (thank you for your patience Jon!), we decided on a product and color, then contracted Jon to do the work. One stipulation was that he work with the other team in coordinating the scheduling around them, which he agreed to. His price was fair, given the fact that I selected the most expensive product out there, and the size of the home it was going on. I could not have asked for a better team to do the work. These men were seasoned professionals, and I was amazed on how quickly (with precision, mind you) everything went up. I am a stickler for uneven, or poorly cut trim, and I couldn't believe that I didn't have any objections to anything! They were always on time, and cleaned up the site at the end of each day they worked. Jon was always available for my calls, which was refreshing (at least to me...lol), and always delivered what was promised. In all, I was extremely satisfied with the work done, and would absolutely recommend Exterior Design Associates to anyone looking for this type of work.

While cutting a hole into the garage ceiling (without my knowledge of this happening), the wood fell down and damaged my vehicle. When he was contacted about this, he chose to ignore me and refused to give his insurance information. Even during a phone call when he was informed that it was being recorded, he hung up on me after I informed him my brand new vehicle had damages.
