Smitty wouldn't release my car till I paid a $1700. storage fee. They did nothing to my car other than let it sit in their lot for a week, it took a week for them to figure out all it needed was a tire. This is a scam to get insurance $$. That's why insurance rates are so high for everybody.

I called on Monday and he told me to bring his car right down. He came right out to look at my vehicle and assess the damage by a quick glance. He had me leave my car with him. Not only did they not keep in touch with me, but the repairs were delayed for weeks. Even worse, one of the parts they receipt said was replaced, was either not replaced or failed within 3000 miles. Another shop and the insurance adjuster told me it looked like the original part. The shop would not stand behind their repair. The best they could offer me was to try to get back the amount they paid for the strut, ~$78, when they charged me $198 for the part. Also, there would be no reimbursement for the labor or alignment that had to be done. I have never experienced such a whiplash in attitude from a company before. I will never use Crash Champions again.
