two stars so they can't take down the review but would give a one star! customer service (if you can even call it that) was incredibly rude when i opened a phone call asking if they gave estimates over the phone. she laughed at me, saying quote, "that would be like me asking the color of your shirt, honey." unless i did not give you any further information about my vehicle, yes it would be, but i was asking if you have estimates! very different situation, considering one you have information about a vehicle that you were hired to listen to, and in the other you have zero information about an article of clothing! this was such an odd phone call, i would absolutely never take my business to a place who's customer services undermines me before i even walk in the door. read more

I have AAA, and this is the local towing company, for them, in Easton. I was in a bad area of Easton, trying to get a stolen vehicle recovered. AAA asks, on the phone if I'm in a safe spot, and I repeatedly told them, "NO". I was afraid that the people who stole the car would come back. The police were no help, as after they took the information, about me finding the car, they left. They wouldn't wait with me, until the tow company arrived. It took them over an HOUR and A HALF, to arrive. I was less than a mile from their shop, as the roads go, and about 1/4 mile away as the crow flies. I kept calling AAA, and they ended up giving me the number for Easton Auto Body. When I called Easton Auto Body, the person inside said his "tow guy just got back, and would be over immediately". It was another 45 minutes, after that, when he finally showed. I could have walked from their garage to where my car was, faster. DON'T use them EVER!!!!! They are crooks, as the other honest reviews posted, and they don't take any pride in their service or work. read more

My car broke down on the highway a long way from home. My roadside assistance sent this provider. They towed me back to their shop late Friday. Saturday morning 815 am, I received a call informing me they do not service Mercedes. This was not a problem. I figured the tow truck operator was only trying to help and did not know they could not fix my car. The guys I the shop offered a couple of places that could do the work on Monday. All in all I appreciated that they were honest about not doing the work. The tow truck operator had good customer service and made me feel at ease while on the side of the highway broke down with two kids. The next day, I towed to another repair shop and the office staff was wonderful, an older gentleman and the younger gentleman dispatcher. My second tow driver was as nice and competent as the first. I would recommend the shop based on the character of the folks I dealt with in my limited experience. read more

Did horrible work.. had the back bumper on my vehicle replaced after a rear end collision.. had to complain to my insurance company and take the car elsewhere to have it repaired correctly. Paint didn't match, put the wrong exhaust on the one side and it didn't match the other side.. also check engine light came on after the accident and they charged me 100 to diagnose it and claim it wasn't caused by the accident.. horrible! My car broke down in Easton. I called AAA and they dispatched Easton Auto Body. They were responsive and very kind. It was the day before Thanksgiving and it was 6pm. They were so reliable and the whole process was quick and very easy. They towed my car to my dealer in NJ (40 mins away) without issue. I met the driver in NJ to make sure they got to the dealer. He was so friendly and I was so appreciative. I'd definitely use them for towing again. I can't thank them enough. I was in a predicament and was upset that our trip to spend the holiday with family didn't work out, but there was no hassle regarding the towing, which made life easier. read more

These guys are helpful and honest. The woman answering the phone is pleasant, and even suggested I use another towing company that was closer (I wound up calling Easton back anyway, since the other place left me on hold forever). I've has to call them three times over the years and emery time they were helpful and courteous and will attempt to get your car running before just towing it. This latest time the driver did get my car started by hitting the gas tank! Seems the fuel pump got hung up. I gladly paid the service fee since it was a lot less than the tow would have been. But I really need to get AAA :) read more

I've used Swamps a couple of times with no issues before, but then I had to have my jeeps transmission replaced by insurance, and I paid their labor. When everything was complete, I was told that the transmission was quarantined for life, and I asked if their work was quarantine, I was told, if there were any problems to brings it back. Well me jeep started to leak transmission fluid all over my driveway, so I brought it back to them, but Brian wanted to argue with me that it was a oil leak. He even went so far as to show me a paper towel with oil and transmission fluid on it. Not only was this insulting, but this was bad business in my opinion. Swamps was arguing the fact that my transmission was leaking transmission fluid, backing out on their promise to fix anything if something went wrong, and then insults customers intelligence by trying to show them the difference of transmission fluid and motor oil. The kicker to all this is that I had my jeep at a different mechanics shop for an entirely different reason. But he is honest and brought to my attention that my transmission was leaking, and that I should get that looked at right away. I would never recommend anyone to use Swamps do to their not keeping their word. There are better more honest mechanics in the UBE area that will fix your vehicle right, the first time. read more

I recently had the worst encounter I've ever had in my life with this company. My motorcycle was unwillingly towed there on a Tuesday due to an accident. I called daily to see if the insurance company was there yet to take pictures of the damage and they lied to me and told me no. A week went by and I finally decided to go ahead and get my bike from there because they said it's 50 a day to hold it. . So in exactly 1 week (next Tuesday ) I picked up my bike and looked at the receipt and noticed that there were a whole bunch of odd charges on there that almost doubled my expected bill. When I called there to question it the lady laughed at me and asked if I was serious. She wouldn't give me an answer to what the extra charges were. Then I questioned the amount of days I was billed for and she asked me if I was "retarded and knew how to count". I was appauled. Then we can talk about the sexual harassment encountered while standing in there but it makes me nauseous to even think about it. Then theres was also her condescending tone when she looked at the ID and realized it was from NY. The woman that is in charge of admin. needs to go to the "school of hard knocks" to learn proper etiquette and respect when dealing with the public. She was a complete beast and not one person in there even would apologize for her behavior. This is by far the WORST service station I've ever been to in my life and I will be sure to report them to the BBB. Did I mention that my motorcycle was not even in a spot or being sheltered in any way. When I arrived it was thrown into a gate off to the rear of the yard. DISGRACEFUL business. YELP wouldn't allow me to give it NO stars so I had to add 1. They should give me 5 stars for not handling that woman myself and making her eat those words. read more

So my tire went flat in the Bethlehem area. I have a 2016 Subaru and used roadside assistance through Subaru. They contacted Easton Auto Body to come and put my spare tire on and I was going to drive it to a tire shop the next day (since today is the 4th of July). So as the worker was changing my tire, he said he couldn't get one of the lug nuts (or whatever) off of my tire so he suggested I tow it to Mavis Tire and mentioned that the first 5 miles are free and it was only about 12 miles away. So, I agreed to that. Dispatch called me and said that I had to pay for the towing and the lady who I spoke to (Sandy) was VERY nasty and said my insurance didn't cover a thing and that the whole "first 5 miles free" was a lie. Then, when I met the worker at Mavis Tire, he said I could have had it towed to Faulkner Subaru for free! He said dispatch should have mentioned that to me and they failed to do so. Sandy was very rude, didn't mention the Faulkner Subaru situation and made me feel really bad about the situation. She really shouldn't be treating people who are in a crappy situation with such a crappy attitude. The worker was really apologetic but I do not reccomend this shop. read more

Horrible place!! I got into a car accident and was rear-ended. My car insurance suggested I take my vehicle there for repairs. The reviews looked ok and I'm not familiar with other body shops in the area so I went there. The back bumper needed to be replaced on the car as well as as one side of the exhaust. The fixed my car and it looks horrible. First off they put the wrong exhaust on my car. I have dual exhausts and one side is different now. It's a different shape and color compared to the other side. It looked horrible and ghetto. Second the bumper. The paint doesn't really match, the bumper doesn't look like its fitted on the car well, there's scratches on my car from where they put the bumper on. We called and complained they fixed the exhaust but we're rude and annoyed when I came back. The main guy in the body shop even made a comment, "this car is a pain in my ass". Well maybe you should have fixed it correctly the first time. How did no one that works there notice that the exhaust is wrong and doesn't match up to the other side? And my car insurance company paid them like 2 grand so they made a lot of money off my car. Then I tell the guy the check engine light has been on since the accident and asked him to check it out and when i went to pick up they told me I had to pay them 100 dollars to diagnose the problem. I had a horrible experience there. I feel that this place is a bunch of crooks and do horrible body work. I'm still stuck with a horrible looking back bumper on my car and I'm looking to take it somewhere else to be fixed. Do not go here ever!! read more
