Great experience. Didn't feel pressured to get the most expensive frames or lenses. They were very helpful throughout the process.

With the combination of individualized exercises based on postural analysis, medical massage treatments with every adjustment, to the incorporation of nutritional support/guidance and excellent take home exercises Riverwalk Chiropractic exemplifies the highest level of spinal care in every sense of the word. Most surprisingly, is the fact that all of this isn't one penny more expensive then the generic adjustments you would receive elsewhere without all of the accompaniments. Dr. Dan and Donn have dozens of years of experience and with a Physical Therapist on site in the office itself there is no reason to go elsewhere or to have any doubts of the quality of care that you will receive at the office.

I wanted to support a local business and had naïvely felt that they would stand behind what they sold so I did not mind paying the extra money. I would have been way better off buying it on Amazon or another site online! I already had the gas line so I just needed to replace the old log set. First of all, when my wife picked it up you must sign a waiver that says you have a total of 24 hours to inspect everything. Then they have a clause in the waiver that states it may need "FINE" tuning. They also claim they do not do the installation and support they have contractors that do it, but their website clearly states they do installs and service. I installed the unit and it would run for a minute and turn off. I went to the manufactures website and found out you cannot contact them or get support; you must contact the dealer you bought it from. I called to find out how to get it fixed under warranty. Now even though the website is covered with service and support options I was told they don't do the service or support I needed to call their contractor and schedule a service call. When you call the contractor it sends you back to Albers to schedule the service call ?????? Oh, and that is $300. The tech came out and found out the thermocouple was not near the pilot light, and he needed to take it all apart then move the pilot light and the thermocouple, so they got next to each other and aligned. I have a checkout sheet with the unit that states who built it and tested it, it all says it was all tested and passed. So, I called back again to see how I could get credit for the fixing the manufactures defect. I was now told that since they did not have to replace any parts it was not a manufactures defect in workmanship it was a "FINE TUNING" and therefore it was not covered, and I had to pay the $300 myself. So, I should not expect to pay over $2000 for a gas log set and then expect it to work out of the box. Imagine if you bought a fancy gas stove and one of the burns did not light so you called Maytag and they fixed it and handed you a bill for $300 tow day safter you bought it. Albers sees no problem with this. If I had just bought it from Amazon or another online vendor I could have packed it up and got another one that was manufactured correctly. Instead, it cost me extra to by it and then $300 extra to get it to work.

Head to the website, book the date & time you want and you're done. www.watergapadventure.com/river-trips A few things worth noting: They offer multiple trip lengths. The standard 4-, 6- and 10-mile trip (Smithfield to Portland) are all booked generically and then when you get there you tell them what you want to do. All pricing is the same which believe me compared to others companies, that's very different - in a good way. They do offer two other longer trips but those require calls to the main office I assume to assess river conditions; your own competency and shuttle availability. The main office in Delaware Water Gap is very easy to find and there was plenty of parking on a quiet post-Labor Day Monday. You check in, you're handed a laminated map, life jacket and given a brief route explanation and then you're off in the van. One problem arose and it was kind of a PIA but it was worked around. Most companies have different types/sizes/models of kayaks and quite often, will ask you what you prefer. Not here. When we left the office, the guy driving didn't say a word to me until we get to Smithfield Beach to unload. He had a few kayaks pre-loaded in the carrier but definitely did not look at them before we left. One of them had a broken foot pedal that he said couldn't be used, another was very much designed for a smaller individual (i.e. if you're taller and/or taller & larger it ain't happening safely) which only left two tandem models. Using a tandem as a single individual is not the end of the world but especially when the seats are still left in the two person configuration (i.e. one front and one back versus the rear one being placed more towards the middle), it's a PIA to maneuver the craft and you are paddling harder to get the job done compared to a single. The scenery along the route was decent. You could see a bit of the Shawnee Resort and Golf Course, an old stone bridge abutment in the middle of the river, under and along 80 and then when you get into the Water Gap itself with the high cliff sides. Very picturesque. Once you go under the old train viaduct in Portland, you give the office a call for the shuttle to meet you at the out point which is at the Portland Pedestrian Bridge. The whole experience was about four hours door to door to cover the ten miles on the water plus the shuttle to & from the pick up and drop off points. Lots of nice scenery, due to the low water level there wasn't much in the way of current except for the area around viaduqt in Portland and even that wasn't bad. I'm not a big fan of the equipment here but I wouldn't let that deter me from coming back in the future for one of their northern longer trips.

The company seemed professional, had us sign everything online, claimed to be insured, and arrived on time. But after pickup, our belongings never arrived. They were 5 days late and kept giving different stories. We later discovered, on our own, that their truck had flipped over in Virginia, hit another car, and someone tragically died. They never told us the truth. They avoided calls, never took accountability, and offered no help in recovering even a single item. My parents lost everything, family photos, furniture, memories, gone forever. At their age, this has been traumatizing and life-changing. We had to start completely over from zero. The owner is David, and the representative who came to our home was Tuffick. They presented themselves as trustworthy, but when tragedy struck, they disappeared. One of the (many) curses of my life has been myopia. As a kid, it led to schoolyard bullies…read morehabitually calling me, "4 Eyes!" and challenging me to fight. I became a youthful "street fighter" (a bad one, let me hasten to add) because I basically had no choice but to fight or get knocked down (or, in my case, to fight and usually get knocked down, although I did win a few). As I got older, I contemplated contact lenses, but this seemed too much like a concession to vanity, as well as necessitating way too much effort and work (another curse in my life has been the curse of laziness, or...to wax Biblical..."sloth"). My optician during those years was Vincent Rizzo in Bernardsville. The last time I went to him was 20 years ago when my birth mother contacted me about meeting for the 1st time. The glasses I had at that point were outdated, unstylish, and...in my nervousness about not wanting to be perceived by the woman who had given me birth as a "dweeb," (vanity belatedly kicking in), I went to Rizzo's and bought myself a pair of glasses with a more modern, up-to-date style. However, I kept the older glasses to use when I was home by myself and watching TV. Well, fast forward...20 years later. Rizzo's in Bernardsville is gone, replaced by a psychic (as an aside, I've always maintained that if a psychic, a massage parlor or a "dollar store" opens in your neighborhood, your neighborhood is well into its swift decline. Just the other night, I had dinner with my oldest friend in Butler at a strip mall restaurant alongside a semi-rural stretch of Rt. 23. As we left, at about 10pm, a massage parlor 2 or 3 stores down was still open for business, it's orange neon light flashing "OPEN." I joked, "You think that's legitimate, or you think you can get a 'Happy Ending' there?" With a straight face, my friend replied, "No, I'm sure it's legitimate. There's always going to be somebody out here in the middle of nowhere who needs that crick in his neck or that pain in the lumbar region massaged out in the middle of the night by an experienced, professional masseuse." Yeah, sure. Anyway...) Recently, being typically careless (another curse in my life; my habitual carelessness), I was clearing out the remains of a lavish Italian meal I had treated myself to and inadvertently threw my spare pair of glasses out with the rest of the garbage (I had been watching TV while I ate and put the glasses down alongside the remnants of my meal when I was finished). Looking for those glasses the next day and realizing that they were gone for good (I wasn't about to go crawling through the dumpster looking for them), I was in a quandary. I do go semi-regularly to an ophthalmologist in South Orange for eye exams, but it has been decades since I've gotten a new pair of glasses (outside of an incipient cataract, my vision hasn't changed much, and the old prescription still works for me). Rizzo's in Bernardsville is long gone. What to do? I still have my primary pair of glasses, but I wanted to have an extra pair around, just in case. I called Gerald York, and they were very friendly and accommodating, answering all my questions. Yes, they could make a pair of glasses based solely on the pair I had now, without an eye examination or a copy of my last, decades-old prescription. So, the following day, I went to the store, which is located in the central (and quaint) shopping area of Basking Ridge. In a few minutes, they had the order in, and the glasses were ready a few days hence. I can't say the price of the glasses was cheap, but it wasn't as much as I thought it might be, and I feel more secure with this pair than I would with a pair from...say...Walmart. Parking in Basking Ridge can be hairy, but Gerald York has convenient parking in the back of the store. I've only had the 1 experience with them and am hoping I won't have need for any other glasses at least into the near future, but based on this 1 experience, I've found that they're friendly, efficient, and provide quick quality service. For your eyeglass needs, I can't think of anyone I could recommend more.
