He was able to escape the harness and run for home and luckily someone was there to quickly open the door for him and close it before the other dogs caught up. Our dog had 6 puncture bites. My son-in-law took the ring video and made a complaint that day. Still no action by the PD's animal control officer. Apparently it is a "rotating" position and can take 7-10 days. And these dogs li e across from a city park that is full of little kids playing soccer and people with their dogs. Unacceptable. Crime is NOT that high in RO so what are they all doing?

The officer came out (for something that minuscule) and was great. She was so caring and helpful, I felt really bad once we got ahold of the guy for calling them and arranged a time for pickup but she was more than understanding. She allowed me to use her phone and call my brother, and informed me that if I did not receive my phone to call and they would come back out. She made me feel safe if I ever had a serious problem and needed them there. Very impressed with STPD.

So I won't be going back there until the City of Auburb Heals. Get it. Auburn. Heals. But this is nowhere near Alabama. A world away, you might say. And way colder. This is a quaint little suburb in the far Northwestern corner of the Detroit area which is so far from downtown Detroit that I can't imagine how people living here can actually commute to the downtown area but they actually do. Quite a few of them in fact. But then if people in The Woodlands can commute to Houston, and if people in freaking Santa Barbara can commute to LA, I guess anything goes. If you live out here you have to have a decent amount of money, and it's attractive to wealthy because it's far away from all the poor areas and the infamous crime of Detroit. There's not a huge amount of things that I come up here for except the little bubble tea shop that I like. My other review said - Auburn Hills is a pretty remote little suburb with a decent bubble tea shop and some good Suburban fare, but definitely not one of the most exciting or busy of the many Northwestern Rochester suburbs. I do like coming up here though and it's nice to get away from the city for a while.

We lived at this address for decades. The home was one of the first sub-division homes built in Sterling Heights in 1959. I had to go to the City of Sterling Heights to record the deed and transfer of ownership with the Office of Assessing. I filled out the main form as best I could. I was stressed and fighting back emotions as I thought of the many times I would have gone to the City building here on Utica Road with mom. To my great delight and relief, I was promptly greeted by such a kind, professional and efficient worker. She assisted me with the completion of the form that I brought and the others that were required. She informed me of one additional document that I needed to provide the City to complete the process. She gave me a card and pointed out the email address to send the document to. Once home, I emailed her the document and within minutes she emailed me back that she received the document and the process was now complete. I really appreciated the efficiency that the City of Sterling Heights provided to help me complete an emotional situation.

Would have been nice to have access to this community center, good space. Access to the water and grounds too. The enclosed patio is quite nice. The main space was big enough for our party. Too bad we couldn't access the upstairs balcony to take cooler photos.
