Lied to me. The installer smeared what looks like liquid nails across my wood paneling which if it was wiped off immediately would not have become an issue. I was able to switch from oil to gas thanks to a new gas line on my street. I got a couple of estimates but Warren Heating and Cooling was by far the best. I agree with Jose review these guys never told us tune up parts are 200$ They don't stock them , got there permits wrong for install, thankfully I work for a gas company and was able to get gas turned on , installer asked to use my bathroom and blew the whole house out If he new it was going to be bad should have went down the road, will not use them again for installation. Service appointments are a snap to make and problems are id'd promptly and professionally. When my AC went on the fritz one July 4th, my emergency call was returned and I was talked through a reboot/fix. Turns out it was something I could do myself. I had Warren Heating & Cooling install a new air conditioning unit in the heat of July. Those guys worked their tails off and came down from my attic sweaty but always polite and professional. Scott, the guy who did our estimate and set everything up, was awesome and most importantly, my dog liked him. These guys also beat out two other estimates I had from the area. They left everything in pristine condition, walked me through everything they did and how to run everything on the new system. Here's a copy of the email I sent them after they installed 3 new units at my house. After sending the email they said they'd call me back but a week or so later I had to call them to get them to move. I wanted to see if someone can come out and look at the first floor unit. I don't think anything series is wrong but when it's on a noise is coming through the vents. When I first heard it I though the vacuum was on but soon realized it was the AC. When standing by the unit in the basement it sounds okay but when standing upstairs by the air vents it's loud enough that it's annoying and much louder than the old unit that was replaced. I wasn't going to say anything but while I'm complaining a few observations about the work: 1) Not sure of the right terminology but the sleeves/transition connecting the air conditioning units to the ductwork in the house looks rough. After I had the upstairs units replaced four years ago by a low budget installer he had a similar taped-up sheet metal workaround and the Warren guy servicing the units a few years later commented on the crappy job that was done. Well quite frankly I don't see much of an improvement with the new units. Whenever tape is used it's a sign of a short cut. One of the other company's that gave me a bid (that was slightly less) said they custom made their own sleeves and it wouldn't look anything like the low budget one I had. 2) I was disappointed no one didn't mention that I would need to close the permits and get final inspections done. 3) The electrical inspector pointed out that the conduit holding the electrical wires on two of the units were not secured with C clips within the first foot of the on/off switch. He pointed out that the first level unit was a particular issue as it wasn't secured at all until a flimsy plastic strap near the ceiling. He said he wasn't going to fail the inspection but suggested I fix them. I did so myself. 4) When cleaning up debris outside by the condensers I found a plastic cap on the ground that looks like it goes to the 410a serving fittings. When I went to see if one was missing I noted that the middle units (upstairs) was missing both caps while the other units have red metal caps. 5) I guess dirt was needed to seat the condenser pads. Was a bit disappointed that it came out of my kids' bicycle jump. I first indirectly used Warren when the contractor remodeling our basement subcontracted with Warren to relocate some ductwork. I thought the work was good and we were particularly pleased after engaging Warren to do the annual maintenance on the AC thereafter. In the process of getting our units replaced I had some others that were highly recommended but stuck with Warren given the positive experience. While I'm not ready to call it a mistake there's been a few disappointments in the recent install. read more

At first, I though the company was going to be fantastic. They came highly recommended by a family friend. upon having a rep come for an estimate, I felt assured the job would be done well. However, throughout the course of our project, they have become more and more unfriendly and difficult to work with. They have refused to send someone out to initially start our newly installed unit, told us we were not a priority, and have not sent someone in over a week to fix a vent which failed inspection. The field reps are not the issue. The Customer Services leaves much to be desired. read more

I called to make an appointment for an estimate for a commercial HVAC unit . The person on the phone was rude-- acted like I was bothering her. She took down all my information and then gave me an appointment between 9am-10am. I tried to have her give me a committed time as I am not able to sit idle for an hour to wait (and we all know an hour turns into two). Her response was "we dont do that". Excuse me- this was potentially a $10,000 job with the potential for much more business as I run several commercial shopping centers. I got a flyer from Warren heating and cooling for fall maintenance, so I called them to service my two boilers. I was told that they would be out in 4 weeks. Since all was running fine I was ok with that. When the technician finally came he walked in and said he couldn't do anything because he needs parts for the service. He took down the model and serial number (something I could have easily done weeks before ) and told me I would hear back the next day. I didn't hear back so I called and they told me that my boiler was very old and hard to get parts for. (10 year old model that is still sold today) I went on line and found parts right away. I called back to tell them I had the parts and they told me they couldn't find parts for my other boiler now. When I asked if they would get to servicing the boilers before the end of the winter the woman said of course they would and told me she would have an answer for when they could do it in a bit. She called back about an hour later to tell me they cannot do the job. These guys are just looking to sell new equipment for outrageous prices. Stay away from these guys. read more

They were polite, clean, on time, and delivered a system that runs great. We had it installed about 16 months ago, so we have been through all seasons. It worked great all summer long - much better than the previous unit. The matched it perfectly to the new heating unit we had installed the previous December. They arrived on time with everything they need to get the job done within a few hours. They cleaned up after themselves and took away all of the trash. 10/28/11 had new heating and AC units installed and so far pretty pleased. There was no pressure at all from their staff or sales unit. They were patient and did a full inspection of our units and really tried to help us understand what our issues were including all options available. All the staff has been friendly and easy to work with. Crew that did installation seemed efficient and neat. They cleaned up everything after the job as if they were never here. Still working with them on making sure paperwork is filed in order to receive necessary rebates and hope the units prove to be energy efficient and work properly.
