Southport Park is a wonderful recreational resource for community sports, family gatherings, and walkers and jogger seeking a safe place to exercise. Come out for sports, fitness, and family fun. The thoughtful design, variety of amenities, and well kept outdoor spaces keep the Orlando community engaged.

It was such a fun place to explore on a Saturday evening. I'll definitely be back in March to see the azaleas in bloom. Good to know: there's convenient parking across the street at the adjacent Mayor Carl T. Langford Park, which also has additional amenities.

There are plenty of campsites and all have an electric hook up and water at your site. Since 1- 20ish are more open and then when you get further into the campground, it's much more wooded. The campsites are still relatively close to each other, but it's a little more private the further back you go. The wildlife run the park! raccoons come out at night and there's plenty of deer that hang around as well. There are signs everywhere that says do not feel the wildlife so just be cautious of what you leave outside your campsite because you might have nightly visitors. The bathrooms are great, they clean them quite often!

I felt very comfortable walking along the path oh, my soul felt very at ease here. I see cats these little refuges within cities, these little retreats to what the world once was before progress put much of it under asphalt and cement. This park is a great addition to this community. I recommend a visit here if you find yourself in the Conway area of Orlando. It is a great place to chill, to unwind, and to focus not so much as the world around you, but rather the world within you.

They have a small community pool, playground, workout equipment, picnic pavilions, and a lot of walking paths. There's tons of parking and, best of all, there's so many beautiful trees. It's the perfect park for settling down with a book because the trees provide so much shade; even at peak sun hours, the canopy keeps things from getting unbearable. I wish they would fix up the water fountain feature, but it looks like it's been out of order for awhile. I love this little neighborhood park and will definitely be back again.

We had two encounters with the ranger / maintenance team and both of them were pretty rude. Even if the information is valid they need to work on delivery. The authoritarian regime at Kelly Park is the only con to this gorgeous place.
