The golf course is the best shape of all the times I have played it. The new Champion Bermuda greens were quick, firm and green, all of what you should expect from well-kept bermuda greens. The rest of the golf course is in perfect shape. The tee boxes were a little high for my liking, but that's not a problem at all. After the round, we had drinks and snackies in one of the private rooms connected to the grill. The food is unbelievable. We had cheeseburger sliders, chicken wings, a delicious cheese plate, and the best chicken empanadas I have ever had. The cocktails were strong and tasty. All in all, it was a great day at Trump. The facility is the best in the area without a doubt. I get to play at a lot of high-end private clubs, and Trump is second to none.

New ownership here in the last month or so and course is being renamed "The Revival at The Crescent…read moreGolf Club" to reflect the aspirations of the new owners. This course has been around for a while. My father-in-law from Mocksville used to play here regularly 20 years ago. This was my first time playing and apparently the course conditions have varied considerably over the years. I can say that when I played in October 2016, the conditions were very good. Sure some of the fairways had some rough spots and some of the greens were burned out. The bunkers are mostly unplayable, though they were clearly starting to work on those. But most lies in the fairways and most of the greens were in good to excellent condition. The greens were actually quite good, which is fortunate because many of the greens are quite long (a rangefinder is helpful, or pay close attention to the color of the flag since it can be 30 yards difference from front to back on some). I would say that $20-$30 is a fair green fee for this course, depending on when you want to play. I actually made a reservation on GolfNow for $10/each only to get an email from the course saying they are no longer participating in GolfNow, but the new owners could not get GolfNow to take them off their site. To their credit, the golf course honored my GolfNow price. Pace of play was excellent, customer service was excellent. I will definitely be back.

At 8:00, he was mowing the 17th green, then came to number 1. We finally were able to tee off around 8:22... sigh... done with this place!

All the trees and flowers were in bloom for Spring so it was extra special. I loved the course and how it had different elevations. Even though the greens ate my lunch. But that's a me thing. I also loved that even though there are plenty of houses on it, it did not feel that way. And regardless they were unique and pretty (from a designer perspective anyways). I had such a good time, I would go back again and again. The staff was super friendly and was kind enough to help me set up our day since I'm not the golfer in the family my husband usually handles those details. So they took that stress right off me. I highly recommend and look forward to going back when we have more time and try out the spa too.

I already knew its reputation and had read countless reviews, and after a few months as a member, I couldn't be happier with my decision. The course is immaculate, and I can't wait to see it in full color this spring. I've already attended several club events, all of which have been a lot of fun. Mike Zhiss has been fantastic in answering membership questions, and I've had three lessons so far with Jim Lusk, the Head Professional, with plans to continue working with him weekly for the foreseeable future. Saw a few swing flaws/fixes and gave me a couple of shoulder, torso stretches so I'm using those muscles and legs instead of an all arms swing. So helpful and highly recommend. The staff was really friendly and helpful, walking us through how the games work and making sure we were set up. The atmosphere is awesome too--great music, lively vibe, and perfect for hanging out whether you're competitive or just there for fun. The games themselves are addicting (in the best way ). I loved how it tracks your shots automatically, so you don't need to be good at golf to enjoy it. Plus, the food and drinks were surprisingly good--definitely more than just typical "sports venue" snacks. Overall, it's such a fun spot for groups, date nights, or even just trying something new. I'll definitely be going back! Highly recommend if you're in Charlotte and looking for something different to do!
