Beautiful and well maintained Course. My favorite one thus far! The only thing that's missing are some ball washers, but that's about it.

Fun Course, but you need a cart even if you are just playing 9. The staff is great and so is the GPS on the carts.

For our round, the weather was perfect. The staff is so friendly. We all had to go into the pro shop to secure Trump merchandise so that we can flaunt it at our own clubs. Hopefully I can secure another guest spot to play this challenging golf course. Till next time....

Gone is the grey color that graced the outside of the buildings, as well as anything that previously emitted a nautical theme. In its place are white splattered buildings, framed vintage golf photos, and leather EVERYTHING. Leather seats, leather (table) place-mats, leather MENUS (with gold-plated Trump emblems) -- it's nuts! In the previously deemed "Tavern" (now "Tavern-on-the-Square"), my family decided to enjoy an intimate Saturday night meal. The food was very tasty -- my dish was enough for 2 meals! Four HUGE crab cakes, sweet potato fries, marinated button mushrooms, and a side salad. I was a happy gal. I really wanted a beer, but unfortunately they were having problems with tapping the keg of a local NC IPA (name slips my mind). Unfortunately, my beer took fifteen minutes to return to me, but my waitress eventually brought me half a glass of the IPA (the keg was finally able to sputter some up), as well as full glass of Blue Moon -- which she graciously put on the house due to my wait. Service was great, but a little over the top. Our waitress and servers seemed overly nervous about making sure everything was all right and that our glasses were never empty (which was nice). However, I was sad to see that the original, friendly staff that had worked there (before the buy-out) were replaced. Trump National Golf Club of Charlotte's features include: an expansive golf course, aquatics complex (swimming pools, water slide, cabana bar), tennis courts, restaurant, bakery, general store, gym, lakefront ballroom, meeting house, and more. Overall it's a lovely, breathtaking area, but keep in mind it is a private club -- members only.

New ownership here in the last month or so and course is being renamed "The Revival at The Crescent…read moreGolf Club" to reflect the aspirations of the new owners. This course has been around for a while. My father-in-law from Mocksville used to play here regularly 20 years ago. This was my first time playing and apparently the course conditions have varied considerably over the years. I can say that when I played in October 2016, the conditions were very good. Sure some of the fairways had some rough spots and some of the greens were burned out. The bunkers are mostly unplayable, though they were clearly starting to work on those. But most lies in the fairways and most of the greens were in good to excellent condition. The greens were actually quite good, which is fortunate because many of the greens are quite long (a rangefinder is helpful, or pay close attention to the color of the flag since it can be 30 yards difference from front to back on some). I would say that $20-$30 is a fair green fee for this course, depending on when you want to play. I actually made a reservation on GolfNow for $10/each only to get an email from the course saying they are no longer participating in GolfNow, but the new owners could not get GolfNow to take them off their site. To their credit, the golf course honored my GolfNow price. Pace of play was excellent, customer service was excellent. I will definitely be back.

A young man immediately picked up my clubs and put them on a cart and instructed me to the ProShop. There I met Jacob who got me checked in and I was smiling with the news that my Monday round of 18 holes and a cart would only be $55 bucks, what a great value! I made my way to the driving range to hit some complimentary balls and also test out the putting/chipping green. My group of 4, was able to tee off right at 1140a with an assist from Mike T, the Starter. I will say, this is a very challenging course. There is a lot of changing elevation throughout and a fair amount of water that comes into play on a majority of holes. There is a creek that criss crosses throughout and some small ponds as well. You'll find the fairways wide open, however you'll be challenged for ball placement as the majority of fairways will funnel to the creek or water. The greens are very fast, they are undulating and generally small for the most part. The views are amazing! It's built in a development with Million dollar homes that line the fairway and circle around the green complexes. There are adequate water stations scattered throughout and there is bathroom at about hole #8 where they have cold face towels in water that will refresh you. I didn't try the food but I did check out the menu and it looked like a good mix of hot and cold options. Even on a Monday it was very busy and our round of 18 holes took about 4.5 hours. It was tough with 93 degree temps and 60% humidity. Just a few nits that were not major but a bit disappointing. Even though they had a food/beverage cart parked by the Club House, there was no one to operate it. In several areas, you will be confused on where to go for the next tee box because there is no directional sign. The carts were all gas, not a single electric cart and they struggled getting up the steep hills. The pace of play was longer than expected, not a big deal when the weather is great but when it's 90+ degrees and humid, you will suffer as there is no Ranger to keep things moving. This is a semi-private club and only members are allowed to play Friday to Sunday. Overall it was a five star experience, sadly it's quite a drive from where I live in Fort Mill but I was glad to check this one off my most of the B-Man's top 10 CLT area courses.
