That's important to me, because I need the extra space when I practice. The clubhouse store has everything you will need, whether you're a beginner or a pro golfer. The store has a great selection of new and used clubs, which they will let you demo on site. Their store can also re-grip your current clubs if needed. This driving range also includes a Par-3 course, (3 or 4 holes) as well as a putt-putt course on site. I think this maybe the only putt-putt course in MOORESVILLE. Unfortunately, I have never played either the Par-3 or the putt-putt course. The Owner and employees are great! They are extremely helpful with anything you need. The only knock I have on the range is the chipping and putting green could use a little improvement. Their prices are extremely competitive with other ranges. I believed 75 balls will run you around $12. I will be coming back.

Long story short 5 days later I stopped by Carolina Golf Mart and it was in the shop for sale. I inquired about the driver. After describing the color of shaft tape I had installed...the owner Bob knew it was indeed my missing driver. I offered to purchase it back and he wouldn't allow me. He took the sale label off and gave it to me missing out on a $599 sale. I can't say enough great things about this establishment and Bob!!!!!!!! He showed me my choices of grips ( alot of choices), and gave me his professional recommendation, which turned out to be AMAZINGLY perfect! He informed me that he was able to take care of me right away while I waited, so I went out to the practice area to hit a bucket of balls. Once I came back inside, about 45 minutes later, my clubs were READY! I had saved some balls, so I could "test em out" right way. I honestly have NEVER hit these 3 clubs as well as I did with the new grips. They REALLY make such a BIG difference. The price was quite reasonable, and I am 100% satisfied. Number two, she was super helpful with helping us figure out how to distribute our weight and throw to maximize our points and skill. I got progressively better each time and even won one round!! I got several bullseyes and called the blue dot and hit it (I forget what that's called but it's good) Anyway, yes wear closed toe shoes but nothing with a platform (crocs or sneakers will do). There are light refreshments and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available for purchase. Whether you are a party of one or with a group, you will definitely have a good time here. This big park has a large reservable picnic shelter with tables. Lovely. Seven lighted tennis courts which have seating, including one "championship" court with bleachers. A practice hitting wall area. There is a second shelter at the playground area. Of course, the playground is roped off because of the pandemic but will be great for play once it's over. When I played, we had had an unseasonable amount of rain lately, and it was pretty soppy out there. Cart path only, and I think many un-intentional hazards around. Will definitely try it again based on my experience. This was one of those days that even though it was winter, and there was quite a bit of rain lately, a lot of people were trying to play, as it was the first golfable day in awhile. Because of this, the first tee was backed up, but was happy with the pace of play after that. This course is pretty old, original construction in the 1930s, so it is not long by today's standards. It is however, technical. Smart golfers here will opt to NOT use driver on many of the holes, as shot placement is much more important than distance. There are eagle opportunities here for big hitters that also have control (i.e. the 1% of golfers) There is a lot of slope. In some cases, being short on your approach can result in your ball rolling back 30 yards or more. Some of the greens as well are very challenging, but even in the winter, pretty well kept. Primary defenses here are the slope, the greens, and the placement of some bunkers. There is even a par 3 where you're going to have a hard time choosing a club, because the green is so far below the teebox. Overall, this course was a great value, and I would certainly come back and play again. I'll update my review when I do, hopefully the conditions will be better!

UPDATE (As of 14 September 2023)…read more After missing two seasons due to bowling league elsewhere, I've come back for my seventh season of VIB. Though they raised the weekly pay by a dollar, you still get the same food and game discounts. The environment hasn't really changed much since missing two seasons, despite there being a few newcomers to the league. If you want to just have fun bowling, this is the league for you. I forgot to mention the various changes since I left. New gutters and automatic bumpers, new seating, new ball returns, new ball racks and flipped masking units. I have to say my first two weeks of league (excluding my third, which I prebowled) were a lot of fun, considering the people on my team and their personalities.
