The other gyms also weren't as clean. 10th Planet drills technique, and works on implementing the technique. If your putting in the work you're going to get a great workout. 10 th planet is also extremely clean. the sauna is large, clean and has a TV and music which is better than any gym sauna ive ever been in. They sanitize the mats after every single class. They have a shower and two bathrooms so that gives members the ability to take care of themselves and facility. The coaches do a great job, ensuring that no matter the level of skill, you are getting the work in you need and they are trying to help you get better at the craft.

I'm very impressed with how he's here everyday and is VERY involved with the students' training. His daughter & son also assist with coaching & helping him translate his instructions to English. The students include small children to full adults of every ethnicity, fitness levels & genders with the more experienced students assisting with teaching the newer students. Everyone is polite, welcoming & hard-working. I highly recommend joining & supporting this small business

My kids are with coaches Tiff, Ivan, Samuel, and Jason. They definitely know how to keep all the kids engaged and enjoying their classes. My kids are 3 and 6, and both of them are loving jiu jitsu so far! In addition to self defense, the classes have helped build confidence, improve motor skills, demonstrate public speaking, and make wonderful friends as well! My daughter has joined for a few months now, and we have seen significant improvement in her skills already. My son just joined today, but he had so much fun and couldn't wait to go back! One of my favorite things is that when the coaches teach a new move, they will keep repeating the move for about a week until the kids really have it down, and they will also have refreshers of previous moves, so that it's not lost and forgotten. I think the repetition really helped my daughter learn quickly. We always wanted our kids to learn self defense. We couldn't be happier that we chose The Lair as the BJJ gym for our kids, and we can't wait to see what else they learn!

Even though the studio small, the quality of teaching you get from here makes you forget about it. All the instructors make it easy for anyone to become a great martial artist, especially the owner. The owner is old-fashion and he doesn't just hand out belts left and right, but he gives students a sense of accomplishment and dedication for their hard work. EVERYONE can benefit from his teaching. When I first started out, I was insecure and arrogant and after five years, I transformed into a confident and capable person. The owner literally changed my life for the better.
