My recent experiences with Warwick Jewelers are very different from the majority listed here. During the summer I broke the clasp on a bracelet and too it to them to be fixed. A part had to be ordered and I was told the bracelet would be available on the following Friday. It was and the new clasp works wonderfully. My most recent dealings were when I went in looking for a ring to wear as a wedding band. During the summer I sprained the fingers on my left hand. The finger knuckle is too big to get my rings on. Nancy, the sales consultant was very understanding of the situation and instead of trying to sell me something expensive she lead me to their sale display where I found a ring for half price. PERFECT! Great Customer service and I will shop there again. read more

Not impressed. At all. Needed an appraisal on my ex-wife's wedding and engagement rings and spoke with Barry Maglin. During the appraisal i asked if i could purchase a box to protect the rings. Immediately he fired back at me with "Go to a box store! Go to a box store! Go to a box store!"....Excuse me? ...His response wasnt in hushed tones either. Essentially he made the terrible assumption that i was only there to collect a jewellry box to pawn the ring off like it came from Warwick Jewelers (an assumption that he had made that i wanted a box with their name on it to begin with). He even had the nerve to ask me if i was proposing to someone with it. No, im getting divorced and it's none of your business, Barry Maglin. The box was simply to protect the rings, or as your faux industry calls "the investment". Also, before the appraisal, i was not informed that i would actually be charged for it. Try letting the customer know that beforehand, Barry. Next time, dont treat a potential future customer like an asshole with your false assumptions. read more

I needed an appraisal on my wedding band and was having a hard time finding somewhere local to do it. I had been given recommendations in Philadelphia and New York, but really did not want to go that far. A family friend who is very knowledgeable in jewelry recommended Warwick Jewelers and I hold their opinion quite high. I was able to make an appointment over the phone for the same day I called which was great since I do not often have time off during the week. My appraisal was with Gary, and I was so happy with my experience and learned so much! He explained at each point during the process what he was doing and what his conclusions meant. I have never spent time giving a negative review of a business, however, I felt compelled to do so based on my experience. I went into Warwick jewelers with a diamond ring worth well over 3,000.00 (actual price I have been offered). THe jeweler took a look at my ring, did all the measurements and offered me 70.00!!! I am a single mom and thank God I didn't believe it was worth that! I am shocked that a business would take advantage of people who are in a vulnerable state and try to rip them off. read more

The owner of this place is such a scam artist. I brought my antique platinum and 7 diamond wedding ban in to be appraised. $2500 he tells me. I call him and ask him about it since he replaced 2 stones for a $1000 the price seemed off. He said he made a mistake and it should be 3500 and gave me a new appraisal. I took it somewhere else and it was appraised for $6000 read more

I had a great experience at Warwick! I went in looking for an engagement ring, knowing nothing about diamonds or jewelry in general. Naturally I was skeptical just about everywhere I went. Upon entering, I was greeted by Patrick DuFrayne, who was very welcoming and not the least bit pushy. He made me feel comfortable asking questions, encouraging me to ask as many questions as I could. He then took me to their microscope, brought out 4 diamonds in the size range I was looking for, and allowed me to take a look at every one pointing out flaws where there were any and showing me where each diamond fell on GIA scale. Not once did I feel pressured to buy anything, I just felt as though we were having a relaxed, informative conversation about diamonds. This experience was enough to make me look no further. I purchased the ring that day and picked it up a few days later. It was absolutely gorgeous. My fiancé loved it, and we went back into Warwick a couple weeks later so she could ask some questions about cleaning and maintenance. We were warmly greeted again, and sat with a very friendly woman who explained that Warwick would steam it and take a look at it every day if we wanted free of charge! I went to Warwick Jewelers to have links taken out of two watches and I figured I'd look around. Marc Bughman took my watches and in no time the links were revised. Initially there was a minimal charge but Marc dismissed it. THANKS MARC! I did look at vintage rings -- beautiful -- and am contemplating returning to Warwick to make the ring mine. The police were never contacted. They work Sundays and when I went to claim my jewelry they told me they didn't have it. It was at this time I became irate! Once the police arrived and I insisted my jewelry was there they conveniently found it. And also, I found out the thieves grandmother works at the store read more

My experience here was totally different from what i see in these reviews. They have a great selection, the sales people were very attentive and i got a great discount that I wasn't expecting. I can't say enough good things about Warwick Jewelers! My boyfriend purchased me a ring from there and after 6 months of wearing it there was an issue with it. I returned to the store and was visibly upset as I explained what happened. They were professional and more than willing to rectify the situation. They told me they would call the manufacturer and see what they could do. They fixed the ring and replaced the stone and it was good as new! I had an wonderful experience at this store over the past week. I wanted to have my mother's engagement ring updated and appraised in addition to other pieces I needed fixed. Anita greeted us on our first visit and walked us through the process. She was knowledgable and took the time to let me see my diamond under the microscope and explained everything. Sizing, cost, etc. I was called when all my pieces were ready several days later. I went and picked them up today and I couldn't be happier!! My mother's engagement ring came out gorgeous!! At the end of August I went to Warwick Jewelers because I wanted to have my engagement ring re-set with a custom-designed setting. I had brought a picture off the Internet to show what I wanted. I was initially greeted by a staff member named Nancy who made a point of saying that I should have come earlier because it was close to closing. When she found out what I wanted she said, "Well let's see if we can get you started." She went into another room to find Kevin, who I was told did the custom work. He said that he would take my picture and with the assistance of CAD design something for me. He said he would probably have something within a week. After a week I attempted to call the store and was told by another employee that when Kevin was ready he would contact me. It is now September 22nd and I have never received a phone call. I tried another jewelers, a chain store that begins with 'H', in Downingtown and I can't tell you how pleased I was with their customer service and my new ring. I would never recommend Warwick Jewelers to anyone because of their poor customer service. read more

What a rip-off! I called and asked how much they charged to cut rings off of my finger, the woman on the phone told me there was no charge - it was free. When I got there, things changed and they said it was $35 - per ring! I told her what the woman on the phone said, but Anita told me that wasnt true, but that fee would be deducted from the cost of getting it fixed there. Since I really wanted to get them off I agreed. I asked for quotes on the repairs and Anita wrote them on the back of her business card, I made sure she noted the deduction there too. When I went bback 2 moths later to get the rings repaired, it was rip-off time again. This woman (I don't know her name) told me it would cost over a hundred dollars more! When I showed her Anita's card with the quotes on it she told me Anita was wrong. She accused me of lying by saying she would have to check with Anita to see if that was her hand writing! When I continued to insist they stick to the quotes I was given, the woman complained that she has "to pay these people" (staff). Finally she admitted one of the prices I was quoted was right, but the other was wrong and "everyone makes mistakes". She also added putting a new head on my engagement ring for a few hundred dollars. The price was so much higher than what I was quoted I asked for my rings back, I'll give my business to someone else. Icing on the cake? The asses sent me a "thanks for your recent purchase" card. read more

I am speechless. I was looking around this store as my daughter looked at wedding bands. I found a a Cartier Love bracelet in their "estate jewelry" section and I asked to see the bracelet. A man helped me and explained this bracelet was brought in by a woman who never wore it, she received it as a gift from an x boyfriend and just wanted out of her life. He told me Cartier made a limited number of these double love bracelets and it was #17, 17 was stamped on the inside of the bracelet with all the other inscriptions. The price of the bracelet was $3000. New ones are $6500. I told him I had to discuss with my fiancé and I put $700 down. I went back a few days later to pick up the bracelet. He handed me the bracelet and I asked for the Cartier box and certificate for the bracelet. He said he didn't have it. I asked if it was never worn why wouldn't it be in the box. So he shuffled around looking for the box and finally said he would send it if he found it. This made me very suspect. I brought the bracelet home went on line, in 10 minutes I knew it was a fake. Just to make sure, I drove to King of Prussia to the Cartier store. As soon as the Cartier salesperson saw it and felt the weight of it she said she knew it was fake but would run the serial number. She ran the number, it was registered to a wedding band. Cartier has an 800 phone number that anyone can call and check the serial number. She said any jeweler that has been in business for as long as Warwick would know that number. By the way, the number "17" that was inscribed on the inside, was the size of the bracelet. CARTIER NEVER MADE A DOUBLE LOVE BRACELET IN WHITE GOLD LET ALONE MAKE A LIMITED NUMBER OF THEM! This is Fraud to the nth degree! I went into the jewelry store with the little bag in my hand and looked at the man who told me all the lies and said "We have a problem". He escorted me to the back . I said " this is a fake" he acted shocked.... Not really. I said I want my money back and he didn't question that for a minute. I told him I just came from the Cartier store and repeated everything she told me. He said it was a learning curve. Give me a break. He knew damn well it was a fake. He started the refund and said he was sorry for the inconvenience. Is that what that was? I think it was more like robbery. My mom recommended this jeweler , needless to say, she will never go back and neither should you. My daughter did end up buying her diamond wedding band there and she will have it looked at when she gets home to California. My fiancé sues the Government for a living to uncover fraud and corruption and wins. He is furious! He did tell me it was my fault for trusting someone I didn't know and next time go to Cartier to buy a Cartier bracelet! Sorry for the long review, I thought this was extremely important to share! I worked with Gary, and he was phenomenal in helping me! I had an antique opal ring from the Victorian Era that I was having trouble with. He knew so much about caring for jewelry and was able to help me very well and and very willing to, whereas the other jewelry stores I had gone to didn't want to help and gave me the very clear body language that I was wasting their time. They told me, "Oh, we can send it out for this, that or the ohter to be done, it'll be such and such a high cost." I sat with him for a good 15 minutes too in which he examined the ring and helped me, having other associates work on selling while he examined it himself. As I understand, he is the owner of the store. He explained to me things about opals, caring for them, and what might be done to it if resized, he explained to me that not only would the integrity of the ring be severely compromised, but that the absolutely stunning opals I had would most likely break. He said there was a very simple solution to my issue of it being too big for me, which was called a ring bar. It's essentially a piece of metal that goes across the inside bottom of the ring to make it fit, and it worked wonderfully. They did it in shop and it fit perfectly. It cost me only $12.50. I was elated that I could finally wear this gorgeous ring that was in incredible condition! I was VERY angry the none of the THREE Jewelry stores I had visited previously had even mentioned that that was a possibility, even if it had to be done somewhere else. That shows to me either a lack of knowledge or a lack of customer service. All I have to say is that I received incredible customer service here, and couldn't have been more pleased! read more
