I called ahead of time to make a 10am appointment for a Saturday since I was bringing my young child with. I was reassured that an appointment was not needed, just come right when they open at 10am and we would be helped no problem. When we arrived we were rushed through looking at band options and then told to go home to look at the customizing website. We wanted to purchase today. I wanted my current band resized. They go above and beyond to offer and explain options. They worked to get estimates for me on repairs and creating a custom pendant from broken/old items. They have a plan that allows payment options with no interest if paid within the timeframe: A credit check is required. . The staff is made up of a smaller core group - most have been there quite a few years. They are patient and extremely thorough. Excellent customer service top to bottom. Went in to resize my three-year-old engagement ring. Found all the staff so friendly and knowledgeable. I was advised not to resize it but rather contact the original seller, because the ring had already apparently been resized. I appreciated their honesty, but left it with them for a cleaning anyway. When I returned to pick it up, they had it looking as good as new and refused to charge me for it. I have taken several items to Benari's in Exton for repair and was always satisfied. My Brighton repairs were treated with the same care as an adjustment for an antique rose gold bracelet. I'm investigating Benari to see what kind of feedback they have received before committing to a purchase there. Its nteresting reading the reviews here. I have gone into many stores where I was ignored. At first, I though it was that I was too young, then as years went by, I thought I was too short or did not look wealthy enough. Now I'm thinking I'm looking too old. Always a problem for me, but I do have to say, I did get attention here at Benari when I went in there to browse last week for a Birthday gift for my wife. They were quite helpful and no pressure. It's been my best experience in this current quest for a gift after going to four different jewelers so far. Most important thing I see here with the reviews here on Benari, is that the store management has taken the time to follow up on the few unsatisfactory reviews they have received. We had a less than pleasant experience at the Newtown Square location and we were referred to their Exton branch. Its like night and day. Of all the places I visited to look for engagement rings, Benari stood out because Joel was so patient, so easy to work with, and so educational. He is what any jewelry store salesperson ought to be. Numerous times, Joel made recommendations that were counter to his financial interest. He helped me navigate the complexities of engagement rings and helped me discern what was worth paying for and what wasn't. The store's selection is good and Joel helped me order what I needed when there was a piece the store didn't carry. They have a very broad inventory, work with me to customize or order pieces when necessary and are very knowledgeable. When Helen is not available, I work with Barry, and always feel welcomed and valued as a customer. I've experienced their after sales support, such as when I've lost a piece and needed a valuation, or a repair/polishing and it is excellent. I often visit the store to explore new merchandise, and either Helen or Barry always takes the time with me, even if I'm only window shopping. The store is large, well lit, and clearly emphasizes top quality. They take the time to note pieces I've reviewed in the past, and have developed a good sense of my tastes and wishlists. I recently bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend from Benari, and the experience was made so straightforward and simple thanks to the amazing sales people at Benari. In particular Joel and Helen . As a guy, it's incredibly daunting buying an engagement ring - I had no idea how diamonds were priced, what made a particular diamond better than another, what a setting with a halo was - I had no idea. I'd called Benari ahead of time and set up a day to meet at the store. I was there for 2-3 hours, and whilst that sounds like a long time, it was SO worth it. By the end of that time, I'd been educated on how diamonds are cut, and how they're graded, the difference between particular designers, how a ring can be customized. They even helped me identify the perfect engagement ring based on the points my girlfriend had subtly mentioned to me in the months running up to it. This made me so comfortable with the money I was spending on the ring as I truly understood the value of what I was purchasing which I believe is the most important. I would completely recommend Benari! Especially for guys who don't necessarily know too much about rings and diamonds - they'll educate you and make you feel comfortable throughout the whole process - they even had the ring available for me within a 3 week turn around!
