After many rounds of that, we finally called again and threatened to report them to BBB and they canceled the invoice right away. The email address that kept sending the invoice to us does not receive incoming email, so our emails to them would bounce back. But then when we got on the phone with them, they would ask for proof of email that we'd attempted to cancel the service. I find this whole situation very deceptive. Stay away from this company.

Another company clearly didn't read my info). They stated the price for one-time service up front and were easy to schedule, all through text which is appreciated. The technician arrived promptly at the scheduled time, explained what he was going to do, listened as I pointed out a pet area to avoid, finished quickly, and didn't try to sell anything extra - I paid exactly what they quoted.
