Well a brand new laundromat opened up named Wash Plus Laundry at 841 West Hamilton Ave, Campbell, CA 95008 It is the highest tech wash system I've seen. It uses a card to pay for the machine, so no need for quarters. You simply refill the card with bills or a credit card. The washers and dryers are so quick as compared to other stores. Ozone is used to absorb odors and for extra cleaning. I really liked the two attendants, Marlene and Tatiana, who were so helpful giving me a tour on how everything worked. They also have drop off laundry service. The Laundromat was brand new and kept spotless. Even the restroom was impressive. The chairs are so comfortable to sit on with electric and phone charger plug ins. I'm definitely coming back and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Laundromat! read more

Alfredo and the staff were super helpful--trust me, you'll probably need a quick explanation at first, but once you get it, it's a breeze. All the machines use ozone, so your clothes come out incredibly clean, and you can wash and dry a full load in about 40 minutes, which is a huge plus. These washers weigh your clothes to see how much water to use! The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but honestly, you get what you pay for. Since I tend to wait until I really need to do laundry, it ends up costing a little more than if I went regularly--but the convenience and quality make it worth it. We came to wash two large comforters and it was our first visit to a laundromat in a really long time. We were extremely impressed! The facility is clean as a whistle. The staff, especially Alfredo, were unbelievably helpful and attentive. He approached us and walked us through the entire process of loading the card, selling us soap and softener, how the payment system works, explaining the washing services they provide, etc. There is no trace of humidity in the air, no dampness, odors, etc. Every chair has a charging port and there's a counter for your computer while you wait. They have a free to use bottle filler and clean restrooms for customers. New modern vending machines and the washer/dryer cycle is less than an hour (for both). They do a vinegar rinse in every washing machine at night and it shows. We would definitely recommend this place and recommend tipping Alfredo for being such a great employee and not with his face in a phone or hiding in the back. Best laundromat around! I've been coming here for a few months and every time I'm always happy with the experience. The location is clean from the building itself to the machines ((so you won't have random bleach stains on your laundry like some other places)). They have a wide range of load size machines, going all the way up to 80 pounds so you can do 8 loads worth of laundry in one machine! The pricing is fair based on which machine you use too. I used to hate laundry days but now that I come here it's quick and efficient. My clothes always smell amazing too! No matter which settings I choose, my laundry is always clean and fresh! There's always parking too which is a plus! 10/10 if you're looking for a laundromat this is the place to go! read more

I only come to laundromats seasonally for big duvet and bedding washes, and their large washers and dryers make it easy to finish everything in one run instead of doing multiple loads at home with small machine. Our washing machine broke so I headed to Wash Plus with four loads of laundry. The person working on a Sunday afternoon was friendly and helpful. He showed me how to purchase a card; I loaded it and purchased detergent (a bit pricey...forgot to bring my own), and I got started. They have different sizes of washing machines and a dryer so large that I fit all four loads in one! I did have to run two cycles to dry it but was still impressed. The place is clean and they have space to fold, carts to transport and chairs with outlets so you can charge your devices. read more

As a small business owner (Massage Therapist); I do a lot of laundry and have experienced many San Jose, Ca laundromats. This is by far the best experience that I have had. Let's face it, few people actually like doing laundry. So if you are going to have to lug it all somewhere to wash/dry/fold; this is where to go. 1- CLEAN! This place is sparkling clean. The machines are clearly labeled, the soap dispensers well marked and clean (many laundry mats have gross soap dispensers: this one is pristine). Inside the machines is CLEAN! Folding stations and the floor are CLEAN. I drop stuff from my basket and during the transfer from dryer to basket all the time so a clean floor is appreciated!! Clean bathroom! 2- FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! The owner and attendant were super helpful and explained how their card system works. They were very knowledgeable about the machines, the Ozone process, the length of time to dry which made it a very seamless and easier experience. 3- AFFORDABLE and FAST: Payment- it's similar to the other places. It's $15-$17 to use the extra large washer. The extra large washer fit to big baskets of clothes in one washer with room and not overfilled. It took 20 minutes!!! That's it!! The clothes were clean!!! I have a stinky teenager and the clothes were bright, smelled clean and no dinginess. Other places take about 40 minutes to wash and longer and not always as clean as I hope for. Other mats charge $13.75 for the large washer but the machine is smaller than this location. Only 1.5 of my baskets would fit those. So I saved money not having to use two machines. ** Cost averages out with the wash and dry. You pay a little more on the wash and less on the dry and save time. Yet, if you have large washes, you save $$ on their large because it fits more. 4-CONVENIENCE- They have a card you pay $1 for initially but keep and load money onto. It's super efficient. You can track your wash/dry costs, set it up to text you when your laundry is done and it's BETTER THAN QUARTERS! I don't know about you but putting $15 worth of quarters into machines that jam, stick can be a slow and tedious process. - plenty of washers and dryers. No rush to grab one of the 4 large washers in the place! Plenty of folding spaces too! There is also nice seating while you wait, a Starbucks/coffee shack/ Safeway super close so you can multi-task. There is room to move your cart (no narrow passage ways to navigate). Spacious and well maintained. I have been on the hunt for a better laundry experience for a while now. This is the 4th one I have tried in the last 6 months. I just spend too much time washing/drying/folding to not have my clothing thoroughly cleaned, bad patron experiences, dirty facilities, broken machines, quarter dispensers jamming, machines breaking or half of them broken. I took my clothes in on Friday for wash & fold services. I had 2 very large bags of laundry (about 3 weeks worth). The young lady was very nice & told me it would be ready Saturday at 2pm. They sent me a text message before noon advising me that my clothes were ready. When I arrived a lady brought out my clothes. 2 hugh bags of clothes, 2 smaller bags of under garments & a small bag of socks. She also had some jackets on hangers. She put everything in my car for me, which I appreciated since I am handicapp. When I got home I noticed my undergarments & my husbands were in seperate bags (very nice). All the clothes were folded nicely & smelled so good !!! It did cost more then I thought it would but WOW it was well worth the money. One less thing for me to have to worry about. This place is great & the people are super nice. I will definately continue to use the wash & fold. And to anyone that does don't forget to tip the hardworking workers. They are angels.... read more

The facility is very clean and bright! The machines look and smell clean. Alfredo was very informative when he gave me a tour of the different machines available. He also was able to give me advice on which machines to use based on my laundry load and how much of my soap to add. They also have soaps available to buy. I liked that the washer spin cycle is so strong it practically dries out the clothes, so I only needed to dry for 18 minutes. Even on the low heat cycle practically everything was dry. There's also wifi available but my wash was done so quickly I didn't really use it for long. read more

This is far from a regular Laundrymat! Everything about it from the time you walk through the door is special. The atmosphere, state of the art machines, ease of payment center, and extremely clean store are standouts. The customer comforts are perfection. Work bar with Internet, comfy chairs. Nicely stocked vending machines , fans and air conditioning make the grind of doing laundry so much more relaxing. But, the noticeable standout is customer service! Wow, the staff is so kind and helpful! I was having a challenging day, not getting around easily. I needed a stool to sit on to fold laundry and they brought one over, they noticed I was struggling a bit to get things packed and to the car and offered to help me. I cannot remember a time in recent years where such compassion, unsolicited help, and genuine human decency came so naturally. I am very grateful. This business is very special. Wow! This really is the BEST place to do laundry, AND they take cards instead of quarters!!!! The machines are so high tech, you see (and feel) the results with your first wash. Large loads are washed and dried in about 40 minutes total, which saved me so much time. I brought in a heavily soiled, thick mattress pad AND a queen comforter, and needed advice since it was my first time at Wash Plus. Alfredo was amazingly helpful, walking me through the entire process, and suggesting several affordable treatments that made all the bedding look, feel and smell brand new. OMG!!! This place is amazing!! It does look like the pictures!! New machines, super clean, no need for coins (of course you can use them if you want to to fill the cool little card and you'll get a text when your machines are done) you can use a credit card to fill your card and it will text you when your laundry is done, 25 minute wash & 15 to 30 minute dry (depending upon what it is) and the God of Laundry --- Alfredo! I am remodeling my laundry room and some stuff came up that interrupted that so I don't have a washer & dryer right now. I haven't been in a laundromat in years and the last time was not a pleasant experience. So I was super stressed about going & checked all the ratings to find what looked like the best one. I originally picked one & then read the reviews.... I get that people leave nasty comments BUT a running snarkfest of insults between the owners & the customer... waay not cool! WashPlus was the next on the list, so I took a deep breath & then went. I am so glad I did. What a great experience! I figured that since it was new, it would at least be relatively clean & the machines would work. Was I in for a surprise!?! That was the tip of the iceberg! It is monitored so your laundry is safe if you go grab a Starbucks. And you get a text when the machines are done! They use ozone infusion in every wash to remove odors, sanitize & clean better. I had bought about 10 pairs of jeans off Poshmark and ALL of them smelled like Fabreeze (which I HATE and get a headache from being around) NOW they do not!! I figured it would take several washes... BUT nope one & done. That awful cloying smell is totally gone! The dryers reverse directions so your big bulky items (comforters, mattress pads & fitted sheets, etc...) don't just spin in a wet lump & not dry. They have a lot of small carts (some with hanger poles & some without (I didn't want one with a pole so it was great I could choose). There are comfy chairs with receptacles for plugs & USB ports for phone chargers, etc... (which I totally needed since mine was at 25%) There is free wifi & nice clean 2 tier tables to fold on. You can buy laundry products if you don't have them & snacks if you want them. They are open 7 am to 10 pm (last wash 9 pm) 7 days a week. They also have several services where they will wash the clothes for you if you would like them to. From $2.39 per lb for just a basic wash stack to $2.79 per lb for a wash & fold. They also do single items like blankets, quilts, rugs and even dog beds for you! (This is August 2026 so check the current prices) Last but definitely not least is Alfredo! I know NOTHING about what to do in a high tech laundromat. I walked up to the counter & asked for help. Not only did he come & explain EVERYTHING: washers, dryers, getting the refillable chip card (1 time $1 to cover its cost) so you do not have to figure out how to get 40 quarters into a machine slot?!? He explained how everything works and walked me thru each step. He suggested the amount of soap I should use and how to add an extra rinse &/or heavy duty option to my washer and then he took me over & showed me how to get & use the card for both the washers & dryers. And how to get the best results from the dryers and that they could be paused so I could add more items or change the temperature from the default medium to high, low or delicate. He walked me thru every single thing staying by me until I got used to how everything worked. He also came around & chatted with everyone in the building asking if they needed help & making suggestions. The only reviews that are 4s & not 5's are from people who said it was a little pricey. I didn't feel that way. You get what you pay for and I am more than willing to pay a tiny bit more for this kind of service, safety and environment. If anything I think it is underpriced. I know how much labor, rent, machines, water, electricity, etc... cost & I have no idea how they are making a profit! Did I tell you you get a text when your machines are done!?! Same for drying. This place is a game changer:) It was super fast- I didn't keep track but it felt like 15-25 minutes. Easy to navigate where to place your detergent, bleach, and or fabric softener. Thorough pre-wash and wash. Really good rinse that leaves your clothes damp after wash, not wet or dripping. Drying was very straightforward and well done. Wash Plus is fast and reliable!! Love it. This laundry place is just wonderful, I have been coming here since it opened, let me break it down *CARD SYSTEM: super easy and convenient no more carrying heavy coins to do laundry * MACHINES: new but super clean, I see staff cleaning the inside, the rim in the doors, the rim on the machine, Your clothes come out smelling fresh and clean not musty. Affordable and well worth the price for how clean your clothes are. * STAFF: super friendly, helpful, they patiently guide you as to how things work and show you everything. Al and the lady that works there ( sorry don't know her name) are always cleaning to keep the place spotless for us. I appreciate that so very much *DRYERS: can't be more efficient! 12 to 18 minutes in high and clothes are done. *VENDING MACHINES: if you are short on laundry supplies they have a vending machine that you can purchase at very affordable price They even have a water fountain for your water bottle free' *DISLIKE: the baskets, they are shopping carts not laundry baskets which are wider and a little lower to better handle your laundry and accommodate larger loads.
