My washer broke, and not going to lie, I'd been only doing basics for a few weeks, so I had a lot of laundry I was going to get done. We were able to order a new one but it won't arrive for a bit, so I needed to find a safe and reliable and clean laundromat. I hadn't gone to one in decades. So while we were out buying, we stopped by a few that were close by. To me, Lucy's was the best. It was large, very clean, and I felt very safe when we checked them out Sunday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Plus, there's a large parking lot, and a really good taqueria is next door. They can't offer credit card service right now as they're waiting on some parts to repair it. So bring your bucks. The change machines work and are refilled regularly. Note, this could change. Lucy's offers a fluff and fold service and I saw a lot of securely tied bags waiting for the owners to come pick it up. I arrived looking confused around 630am on Tuesday and the person who had opened up the laundromat was there and took pity on me. She showed me what I needed and made recommendations to help save me money. Then she helped me put in all the quarters. Such amazing service. I was so grateful. I drove through the McD's down the street before I arrived so I was able to enjoy a breakfast while I waited. They had a lot of those wonderful metal laundry carts with wheels. And they were obviously clean and maintained. The store has effectively four zones. The front section has top loaders washers and I'm assuming there were dryers. I didn't want to walk around too much. To the right was what I called the "Quiet Zone." There wasn't a tv and it just seemed quieter, but there were front load washers, and dryers. In the center was the main area where you could drop off laundry to be cleaned as well as purchase laundry products. To the left where I was had the change machine. Now there may have been one on the right zone but there were people there eating their breakfast so I didn't want to walk around being snoopy. Maybe next time. On the left was also a tv set with a morning program on, the bathroom (I believe you need someone who works there to let you in) and two vending machines - one with snacks and one with drinks. And there were the front loading washing machines and dryers. I saw three sizes of front loading machines. This is nice so you can pay for what you need. There are the large tables for folding laundry. I stuffed everything in my bags and brought them home so my husband could fold while we watch tv after dinner. So, if I have to go again, I will come here. I left around 745 so it didn't take long at all. I was pleased that the dryers really dried things in a very reasonable time. read more

This laundromat is a reliable place to wash big bulky loads. They have industrial sized washers and dryers that can handle a lot at once. They work well though this time there were a handful of machines with "out of order" signs. They have two change machines that dispense accurately. The biggest washers are $12 - $13 a load and last about 30 mins. The biggest dryers are $100 each and you get 10 mins. read more

Arrived on a Thursday afternoon @ 4pm. Convenient location; parking was available; various washing machine-sizes were available. Various food businesses within close walking distance while I waited. I could have even gotten a haircut right next-door. I brought in a California king size down comforter she washing dry. The attendant directed me to the proper size Speed Queen machine. Being that I didn't bring any detergent, she sold me a single box of gain for $1.60. Machine took only quarters, (even though it indicates a credit card option is available.... It wasnt.) The most unpleasant part about this trip was having to put eight dollars worth of quarters into the machines. read more

I decided to come here because it's never busy. They only use coins. I decided to go with the big load to get more water o realize they barely have any water washing the clothes. I also put extra soap. I realize bad idea. Omgosh I got my clothes once the washer was done all my clothes are still soupy and tacky. Not a good idea. If you come here be sure to use barely any soap so your clothes get the proper water to soap ratio. One lady also works here with a red shirt that clearly says Lucy's mexican grill. I assume both business work together. and has extreme anger issue. Has highlighted hair and medium size Mexican wearing AirPods. I kindly ask that a man was waiting in the front desk for some assistance. She looks at me with such attitude and said with a rude tone"I don't work here!" Yet walks in the back of the counter as if she works here. A mistake on my side. and ignores the customer. I assist him and said I can try to help you but I don't have the soap you are looking for. But he waited patiently for another worker who came out of the back rooms. This random lady should be thankful this man isn't violence that be a different story. read more

This is a clean facility. I came here to wash my king-size down comforter and Lucy assisted me in choosing the correct washer and inserted the coins for me. Lucy is one of the owners and is very professional and friendly. I asked her why there was no soap in the customer-only restroom and she said that people take showers if there is soap in there. I get it. There is a sink outside the restroom where you can wash your hands and dry them. I felt safe coming here at about 6:30 in the morning... Lucy and a gentleman were working in the back. Lucy also told me which dryer I should use and approximately how long it would take to dry. My comforter is now clean and in the dryer and this has been a very calm and pleasant experience, which is saying a lot about a trip to the laundromat! read more

Been coming here for years mainly because parking is easy and the big machines. Lucy was also a plus! She knows how to treat her customers! The young lady with the ponytail is not friendly and doesn't keep up with the toilet paper in the bathroom or paper towels by the sink. I always come when she's here. I've only had two issues with the machines malfunctioning.This caused a major delay in getting my laundry washed. The resetting on the machines didn't work and they had to put the "machines out of order" me and another customer had to transfer our soaked laundry items to the machines behind the counter.Another time my clothes came out smelling like rotten eggs so I had to rewash them in a different machine. When I told the girl with the ponytail, she turned and walked away from me. No acknowledgment what so ever. They use quarters so be prepared to have cash to exchange for the quarters. At first I loved this Laundromat, it's clean and the dryers work excellent. But they need to realize , we are there dealing with the heat of the dryers and folding hot clothes . It is like an oven in there . I took all my clothes out of the 6 dryers , before they were all the way dry because I was melting. It was so unbearable to stay any longer. They have ceiling fans but they don't turn those on either. Maybe they are just for looks . If they had ac in there I would take my laundry there all the time . I got irritable from the heat and it's not worth it to me . The price is average and the environment is comfy . I hope they see this and invest in air conditioning. This is my favorite laundry spot. It's clean, there's alot of options for washer sizes as well. The washers range from $4.25 - $8.00 per load depending on the size of the washer. The dryer is .25 cents per 5 minutes. A full load in the dryer typically takes 25-30 minutes for drying. Also, it's very very rare to come across a machine that is out of order-that's a huge plus. read more

I stayed in Campbell for about 3 weeks with my little family for a work trip and I have 2 toddlers so we needed a laundromat for the massive amount of clothes we accumulated. Lucy's was perfect l, they charge by the pound and they weigh it when u get there and turn around time is usually 24hrs. Everything is perfectly folded and packaged at pickup. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. I called ahead of time and they had my clothes ready at the front desk so I could just run in quickly. I paid $45 I can't remember how much I took in lbs but I found it to be reasonable. read more

I needed a place to quickly wash my clothes before my flight back ho. E and found this on Yelp. It was a clean place and they had seating provided for. They even have a clean restroom and that's always a plus! I realized after my clothes were done that I needed a plastic bag, so went to the staff and asked if they are selling some. They did but ran out of the smaller bags (I only had 1 load worth of laundry. So i decidedto just get the big bag but instead the lady recommended if I just wanted to get a clear trash bag instead for 50 cents instead of the bag that would have cost a whole lot more. I thought it was really nice of her, she could have just sold me the big bag to get more profit but she didn't. And she was really nice about it too. Also, there's a Mexican restaurant next door with the same name and I had the best Chile Verde I have ever tasted. Will definitely visit that resto soon! read more

I used to go to Lucy's once a week to do my laundry. However, after a recent experience I won't be back. I noticed a lot of my shirts did not come out clean after a wash. I'm not sure if it was the machines fault or not, but I decided that I would do another round and pre-treat the dirty spots on my laundry with water and soap. I politely asked if I could use a brush or something to run the soap in. They said no. They had nothing. Ok, no big deal I'll just try with my hands or a sock. However, when I started to wet a spot on my shirt, one of the workers came over and asked why I was keeping the water on (it literally had been 10 seconds). I explained that I was pretreating the stains on my shirts before I planned to wash again. She told me that it was not allowed. I thought maybe she misunderstood. I explained I wasn't trying to just wash my clothes in the sink, but just put a bit of water and soap (There was a sign that said no using the sink for washing clothes). She said I could not do that. So here am left with a bunch dirty shirts and no way to get them clean. I mean isn't that what a laundromat is for? I was pretty shocked given my regular business and that I had explained that I wasn't trying to just wash my clothes in the sink. I asked "so I have go home and pre-treat and come back?" She didn't respond. Overall, really rude service. They obviously don't care about there customers. All I was trying to do was to clean my laundry properly and I don't understand how using the sink to pretreat a few stains is an issue. Maybe if they would have explained why it isn't allowed, but no such luck. Avoid this place if you can. There are way better laundromats in the area to go to. The only reason I went is because it's close to my house. I'll give a couple stars because the other staff has usually been pretty friendly and helpful when I needed change or had a question. Maybe this woman was having a bad day, but nonetheless I was was pretty taken a back that I wasn't allowed to pretreat some stains and ultimately leave with clean laundry. I've been coming to this location once a week for years, ever since they used to be Oasis Laundromat. The previous owner had retired and Lucy took over the business. Since that time, I have seen this laundromat grow and evolve significantly. Most of the washers/dryers are now new units. There are large coin-op washers for washing my comforters, etc. The entire facility is very clean and there is plenty of room to sit or fold laundry. I usually drop off my dry cleaning here (wash/press for fitted shirts and dry cleaning for pants). Rather than spend time ironing my own clothes every morning, Lucy's saves me time and effort! As a bonus, my clothes seem to last quite a bit longer, which saves me money on new clothes! In that way, I feel that the dry cleaning more than pays for itself over time. Turn around time is 2 days (unless they are extremely busy, in which case they will let you know in advance). They've always delivered as promised. Lucy is incredibly friendly and professional. I went in to Lucy's to do some laundry because my dryer is broken and it was an amazing experience The prices compared to local laundromats are approximately the same. The facility is very clean and has vending machines as well as coin machines. Please note if you are not using their facility you are not allowed to use their coin machine. They will make sure that you have laundry in front of a machine before they allow you to get coins. It would appear that everybody loves Lucy. Multiple patrons came in throughout the time I was there saying hi to Lucy and dropping off their laundry for wash and dry service. These customers greeted her and she greeted them like they had known each other for years. I think the people that gave negative reviews should have probably talked to Lucy and told them their issues. And since there is so few reviews that are negative I wonder if they are not made up by a competitor or Karen's. In one of the reviews the guy admits that he doesn't know when the machine ruined his shirt or whether he did it. The other lady sounded like she had never been in a laundromat before saying it was dirty and disgusting.I've never been in a clean laundromat until I went to Lucy's. Most laundromats I've been to or dirty and disgusting but not this one that was clean. The staff was willing to help with whatever they could they even had a guy who appeared to work there cuz he was behind the counter who looked like a bodybuilder and security guard. But the last I think he was just that built because of him lifting all the laundry. Having developed what could only be described as a "floordrobe" I decided enough was enough and packed all of my clothes in bags to take to the laundromat. Lucy's welcomed me in with wide open rooms, walls of washers and dryers, and a large countertop for organizing and sorting laundry. I had to purchase detergent because I didn't have any with me, so next time I will come prepared. The machines are quarter-operated only, but they have a couple of machines for making change of $5, $10, and $20 bills. The washing machine sizes seemed small while loading, so I mostly opted for the larger sized ones. Compared to the wash you can get at home in a consumer grade model, the speedsters at Lucy's took only 20-25 minutes a piece. The one and only gripe I had, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, were the dryers. While large, they did a mediocre job of drying. Don't believe the advertised price of "only 25¢!" - that will only get you 5 minutes, hardly enough to get anything dry. Instead, put in 4 or 5 quarters to get your clothes decently dry.I had to re-run all of my loads several times to get everything soft and warm and fuzzy. Price: $2-5 a load depending on size for wash, $1-2 a load depending on size for dry Bring your own detergent and make sure to load the dryer up with quarters. read more

Also the ladies working the counter have always been extremely pleasant and a joy to converse with. I live a couple of hrs away and I work near by therefore I choose to wash in their premises and not because I can't do it at home but like I said I find it very pleasant to wash at Lucy's. Wash and Fold service: Having someone else do your laundry for you is awesome, and with the great pricing, fast turn around service, dry cleaning services too, makes it even more awesome. 2. Laundromat: They have so many washers and dryers that I've NEVER HAD TO WAIT FOR A MACHINE. Even if I've got 4-5 separate loads, I'm able to use 4-5 washers at the same time and the same with the dryers. I can get in and out of there in the time it takes to wash 1 load...crazy and uh AWESOME! Also, almost all of the machines are new and those that are not already are already scheduled to be replaced with newer ones sooner than later! 3. I use Lucy's for all of my laundry needs - wash and fold, dry cleaning, oversize loads such as blankets and minor alterations. They also have coin-operated machines which are brand-new for the laundromat portion of their facility. If I bring my clothes to them at a reasonable hour, they are always available for pick up the next day. They recently renovated, so the facility is nice light and clean. There is actually a Lucy, she is very sweet and accommodating, as are all the employees that work there. I recommend Lucy's without any hesitation. read more
