I've been coming here for more years than I care to ad admit. They're reliable and clean. The down side is because they use a card system, you have to make sure you have enough money on it at all times, have cash on you (in 2023? Haha jk), a bank close by (but lose parking), or pay those atm fees. I've learned to ignore the owner. It's hard to know if our conflicts are culture differences, misogyny, personality quirks, who knows. I'm just here to wash my clothes man...I don't want drama. Biggest downside is the parking lot is shared with a million and one other busy businesses so you have limited parking and you'll occasionally run into a *Karen* who's gonna want be ALL IN YOUR BUSINESS. There is a reason i don't like to use public laundromats for a reason but unfortunately the one at my place was being replaced . Not only did the owner follow me around the entire time i was here and would just stand from a distance and watch me . When the machine i was using broke down he refused to give me my money back and claimed it didn't work because i had a lot of clothes in my dryer . I obviously did not . He then proceeded to grab my clothes when i asked him not to touch them and just moved them to a different dryer . I will be trying to get my money back by contacting my lawyer it's just annoying wasting even a dime in such a horrible business but regardless I am never using a public laundromat again much less this one . I am in the middle of a move and can't access my washer dryer for another week. Went to this joint and OMG. There is not a single person to answer any of your questions and the owners feel it's their job just to collect money. Their system for payment is not user friendly and they definitely are overpriced. I feel sorry for anyone at the mercy of this place. I actually went to a different one a few days ago and after this experience will definitely be doing a review on the other business. Zero customer service here. Too many laundromats to choose from. Go somewhere else. Also, there's a sign that face masks are mandated but the policy is not enforced. The only upside to this place is that the owner does sweep constantly and keeps the place clean. But don't expect to go there and have anyone answer a question for you. Also it seems their industrial machines are preset to benefit anyone other than the customer. Money pit. My washing machine at home died, so I needed to go to the laundromat (of course.) we've used Lee's in the past for oversized things like sleeping bags, but not regular clothes. We couldn't find the required card, so had to purchase a new one. The attendant was helpful because, evidently, 2 people with advanced degrees are clueless wonders! Got our new card loaded with money and then immediately became overwhelmed with choices. Do we do multiple small loads? Do we take advantage of the 2x, 3x, or 4x capacity washers? How much soap? (We've been doing laundry for 40 years. I swear we are not idiots!) Attendant to the rescue again! He was so nice and understanding! He encouraged us to use the 2x washer and load it up. "More! More!" "Use 3 Tide pods!" 30 mins later we walked out with 3 baskets of squeaky clean clothes! Our dryer is alive and well, so we dried things at home. I have to say this place is cleaner than my own laundry room. The attendant was constantly picking things up, sweeping, etc. The patrons were neat and respectful of other people's needs for space. There were multiple commercial carts to use for free. There seemed to be 100 washers and dryers, seriously. Not a speck of dirt in sight! I've grown to like this place. The last few times I've been here... There's a guy manning the kiosk who's a lot more friendlier. This helps especially when you hate doing laundry. I have also been coming at different times of the day on a weekday or a weekend. Never has been crowded and there is always enough machines and folding not space to go around. I usually love doing laundry here except I don't anymore. The old man that's usually there walks around and switches everyone's hot water to warm... I'm sure they're doing this to save themselves money. I watched him very carefully do this. Mind you I changed it back and he went around again and changed my water setting twice after that. This place is VERY clean and the man that works there, he's very helpful. He's not racist! I only go there to wash my comforters, maybe once/year. If you forget to take ur laundry supplies, they sell it there but you need to make sure to have cash to do your laundry as well. They have various sizes of machines. I've never bothered to review a laundromat before. You come. You do your laundry. You leave. Right? No big deal. They're all pretty much the same. Now I feel bad I never gave the multitude of laundromats I've used 5 stars before. Apparently, you can have a terrible experience at a laundromat. First off, this place is a rip off. They charge over 2 & a half times what every other laundromat I've been to does for the large industrial washers. They want nearly 10 bucks! I've never been to a laundromat that charged over $4.25! To make matters worse, you have to buy their special card instead of use coins. So, if you put too much money on your card, it's a loss. Next, the staff. Well, the one staff member who was there when I was. She was incredibly rude, aggressive, and yelled at myself & an older couple for not moving our clothes from the washer to dryer fast enough. I kid you not. I was unloading one washer when the one I started next to it ended. (Doesn't everyone start the machines one after the other?) The woman had a fit over it. When I left, she stood at the front door to glare me down lol. Honestly, I found it hilarious. The older couple wanted to leave but their clothes were still wet. I've never been to a laundromat but wanted to wash all of my curtains, washable rugs etc without doing a million loads so came here. Parking isn't great but the laundromat itself is very large with tons of machines. I clearly looked lost and confused and the gentleman working this afternoon came up to me and very kindly assisted me in finding the right size machine etc. then loading money onto the laundry card, adding time to the dryer etc. he was very nice & friendly and I appreciated the unsolicited but much needed help! read more

At least few times a year, I visit a laundromat. Not my fav chore. But Lee's laundromat makes it almost painless except that I have to lug around big blankets.....ugh! It is always clean and the machines work. But if you get there a little late....forget about it. They won't let you start. Clean, new/renovated laundromat! Plenty of washers and dryers, vending machines, and benches to sit and wait . The guy that works there is always friendly, and cleaning. The lady that works there is always cleaning, though I've never talked to her. They give you a deal if you load your laundry card with a $20, last time I checked. For the most part the laundromat is great! It's clean, and has a lot to offer in which other places don't. But come on! I feel as if majority of the time when I come in, and the manager with the glasses is working he is extremely rude. There has been various occasions that he just stares at me to make me feel uncomfortable and then comes up to me and tells me, "you have two minutes till your washer is up." My usual spot to come on the weekends, but that has changed. Got off work late today and checked to see what time the Lee's closed. Saw that it was at 9pm and pulled up to the store at 7:35pm, by the time I walked into the store with 4 loads it was 7:40. As I began to pull out my clothes the manager came over to me and said I could do just one. The store closes at 9pm, that gave me an hour twenty minutes to do 4 loads with plenty of machines open. I rarely, if ever, have the occasion to go to a laundromat except on the rare occasions that I can't fit an item into my own washer and dryer at home like blankets and comforters. It's that time of the year when it's getting chilly in the mornings, so it was time to pay a visit to the laundromat. I go the International Food Bazaar that is near here, so I decided that I would check out the location. I've been to the one on Leigh before, and decided to mix it up a bit. First, it's super, super, super clean. I mean bordering on immaculate in there. This chain has embraced technology and utilize credit-type cards that you load up with money first rather than having to use coins. Big plus in my mind. Only thing that kinda sucks is that they charge $1 to initialize the card, so if you don't use it very often (like me) make sure you don't misplace the card. I used the largest of their machines which cost $7.25 for the load, and then their largest dryer which was like $1.25 for 15 minutes. I was there on a Thursday night, and can honestly say that it was dead in there. It was actually nice not having to deal with a mass of humanity like I normally have to at the laundromats I've been to before. They are offering free use of the dryers on Wednesdays through January 2009. Definitely worth a try if you need to wash larger items that may not fit at home. PS I got to watch Oprah when I was there. It was super exciting. read more

Pros : The machines all work great Their ATM system is awesome-you can just recharge your card and you don't have to worry about quarters or anything like that Pretty big place and very clean. Pretty empty unless you go on Wednesdays when its FREE DRYER DAY! No kids running around....well maybe except for ours :D Cons: They claim to close at 11, and last wash is at 10 yet we arrived at 9 ish and were told we should come back the next day...who knows...maybe the laundry operator had a hot date that night. This place is clean and there are tons of newer-model washers and dryers but the owner is annoying. She is this mid-aged Vietnamese woman who always hits on the fiance as well as the vending machine guy who comes in 10 minutes before the place closes. They often sneak into the one-stall bathroom together.... not sure what they're doing there! Another thing that's annoying is the fact that she always locks the doors 10 minutes before closing, while we're still in the building. What if something happens and we need to make an emergency exit? She's super sweet and flirty with the fiance but always throws attitude at girls, so I guess my only advice is to bring a boy with you if you do your laundry here! read more

In my 47 years on earth, I've never seen such a neat, clean, organized laundromat. I made the mistake of getting quarters at the bank but they are not accepted. You must buy a card for $1 and then add money. They have an atm on site that costs $1. They have a nice tv and free wifi, clean bathrooms and very reasonably priced laundry soap, fabric softener, and other laundry supplies. I was shocked at the selection and decent prices. If I ever get behind on my laundry again or need to wash pillows and blankets, I will no doubt be coming back here. read more

Its huge and very, very clean. It has a public bathroom too. The workers are ALWAYS so helpful and nice and courteous. This is a must place if you need to do laundry. read more

This place is super clean but other than that I'm totally uninchanted. I used to go to oasis until new owners took over and raised the prices. This place is in the same neighborhood so I started coming here instead. They have the card system, no quarters. I'm not a huge fan of this system but it is what it is. My biggest issue is the guy who walks around and mops right where you're standing. You'll walk away to get your clothes and he'll come mop where you were sitting so you can't sit there anymore. Also they close at 9....so why at 8:20 does he start asking me how much longer? Super rude! read more

Lee Laundromat is the cleanest nicest looking and feeling laundromat I've ever been to in my life. It's warm and nice in there and the huge expanse of washers all worked. I used two super loads to get all my laundry done and spent about three hours there in total. My only problem with the place is the dryers didn't work almost at all. I put my clothes in on high twice and they still were pretty wet. I folded them anyway and they're sitting in boxes, I'm waiting for them to dry out a day later. :\ The card is super convenient though, maybe I just picked a bad dryer. I will definitely be going back! EDIT- After going back twice more to this Laundromat, I still say I am a big fan of it, But the dryers most definitely never work for me. My clothes are always sopping wet and get moldy once I bring them to my mold-inducing apartment. I'm going to have to go elsewhere for my laundry needs due to this. Clean, the lady is nice. I went to the crappy, dingy laundromat on Bascom/Shamrock (by the liquor store) before coming here. The soap dispenser gave me the wrong product, so I called the number posted to see if the owner would switch it out for me. He laughed at me. So I told him I would take my business elsewhere. Lee Laundromat is just north on Bascom/Curtner and so much cleaner, brighter and friendlier. The woman attending the shop saw that I just had a large quilt, so obviously wasn't a frequent laundromat user. She didn't make me pay the dollar to buy the money card. I just paid her and she used her own card. How nice is that?! I think it would be worth purchasing the card if you frequented this place though. More convenient. I'll be back with my oversized quilt again next year. :) read more
