It was entertainment in a boring town, riding through the car wash. It's much the same today, though the name has changed and there doesn't seem to be anyone at the exit to dry the car. There are plenty of "space age" lights still, telling you what's happening to the car through the tunnel. I believe that there are two levels (maybe three?) of car washes. I bought a book of 6 washes last year before Father's Day when they were on sale, so I don't recall exactly but the more premium wash includes the underbody wash. That's a good thing in these states where the salt can build up over the snowy, icy months. You don't really have a lot of interaction with the employees. They take your money or car wash coupon, do a little brushing, and hooking the car up to the conveyor. Then, you're on your way. I believe that they have extra cost detailing services, if you're so inclined. The automated system does a good job, at least on cars and minivans that I've taken there.

I like to go with the middle one. If you join the club, for the cost of two washes per month you can have unlimited wash plus free use of the vacuums. I don't wash my car so often so it doesn't make sense for me. It has one automatic wash bay, and four other "do it yourself" stations, one of which has a high ceiling for trucks and vans. I don't know what the fee is to use those. It's a short block down from the main street, easy in and out. I recommend you get a clean car courtesy of Crazy Cat.

However, when I got home and checked my car I noticed that the car wash missed several spots including the back windshield. Yes, they offer another wash in 48 hours, but I don't have time to go back there and sit in line again in hopes that they hit those missing spots the second time. My first visit must have been an off day, so I'm glad I went back to give them another opportunity.

I did get a call back 2 days later, got an apology and explanation plus 2 free car washes. Flying Ace has an advantage because they have on site staff to address any problems, however, I must say, Four Seasons does a GOOD job if you go thru the automated car wash providing you don't encounter any problems. Bottom line analysis: Flying Ace has a slight advantage over Four Seasons because of the following: *Always have personnel on site *Their vacuum's are better Four Seasons pro's are: *lower price *usually not crowded *Arby's is next door (just kidding!) Four Seasons just needs to pay more attention to their equipment and facility and perhaps respond more quickly to issues.
