The rude attendant asked me if the clothes were clean or dirty I said clean. He was like you can't put the bag on the table. I said well I need to put them in the dryer. He was like well just put them right into the dryer. I didn't want to have to bend all the way down to the floor to take the clothes from the bag in order to put them into the dryer hence why I put the bag on the table. I stood there for a minute because I was shocked at how rude he was being. Because I hadn't move the bag yet he came over snatches my bag off of the table and says well you can put it in here as he puts my bag in one of the rolly baskets. He was like people's clean clothes go on the table. Instead of being rude, nasty and snatching my bag he could've simply just said can you put your bag in the basket please as peoples fold their clean clothes on the table. Judging from the comments it seems like he needs to learn how to talk to people. Also I am black, I didn't think his nastiest was due to racism at first but right after he snapped at me he talked to other customers (who were white) and was so nice and pleasant to them. Seeing from the comments that he's been nasty to other people of color maybe he is racist or maybe he just has a nasty attitude in general. This place is right down the street from me. Because of my experience I will never go this place again no matter how convenient it is. Good thing my dryer is working now, if I have to go a laundromat ever again I'd rather go to the extra distance and go the bpt ave one or go to one in Derby or Ansonia.

I've actually been unable to get the smell OUT of some clothes so I stopped going there, because it smells like old lady perfume or something and is strong. Once, I did my sheets there and had to re-do them all, because my bed smelled like a herd of old ladies or weird white ladies with bad taste from department stores were sleeping in it. I used to always go to the other one on Main Ave. -- which has a severe lack of washers because the staff uses them and does not care if there are none for customers and will let stuff sit in dryers for a considerable amount of time, even if people are waiting to use them. They suggested East Ave, and like I said, great facility, great people, but I don't understand the perfume smell. If it happened once, I'd not complain -- but it happened more than once, and I really don't like the time waste of doing laundry as it is, so having to do it twice is just painful to me. Maybe they'll look into it. I know I have a bit of a wolf nose, but it IS strong and my husband noticed it, too, since I never smell like old white lady.

Seems like every time I come there it's a new charge for something just to bleed your customers but recently when I dropped my laundry off to be cleaned, ten pairs of my boxer briefs were taken. Boxers of all things! I work hard to be able to wear higher end boxers and pay for wash and fold service just for my underwear to be stolen. I know they were stolen because the thief was very specific about the ones that were taken. All of my newer pair are gone and the older ones came back to me. Disgusting. Of course no one knows what happened to my things but I do. Beware of this wash and fold if you wear Ethika, PSD or even Fenty underwear. Someone there wants to steal them and wear them after you.
