Terrible experience from start to finish. Made the mistake of ordering cabinets and counter tops through this company as a first time home owner. The price seemed to be the best we could find however the absolute nightmare that insued would never make it worth it. Every other cabinet we had ordered was damaged. We had to make multiple trips back to their warehouse to replace cabinets whether it was because of dents/cracks or cabinets not functioning correctly. On top of that we had ordered quartz counter tops through them and they weren't even able to get that right. They had someone come measure but to no avail. We now have an inch gap on the right side of our kitchen countertops due to the error or measuring. I do not recommend this company unless you are looking to do shotty work as a landlord. read more

Some of the reviews paint the wrong picture of this place. Don't expect full service kitchen design or someone to spend a long time with you. But they have good quality (better than woodland building supply) and reasonable prices. If you know what you need, they're helpful. Nothing but problems since purchasing cabinets and a countertop from them!!!! First, the cabinets came in the wrong color and it took them 2 weeks to re-paint them and re-deliver them. Then, the drawers were not soft close, which is what we ordered and paid for! The countertops were installed incorrectly and sloppily by "Mr. Hing" who took no responsibility for his shabby work and on 6 OCCASIONS DID NOT COME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD!!!!! They gave us no refund for all of their mistakes which held our project up by a month!!!!! They do not care!!!! read more

They are great, until they're not. Then everything spirals down from that. If you do decide to purchase from them, work with a rep that you are comfortable with specifically one that is more fluent in your language of choice, because otherwise, it will be "he thought you said, she thinks you said" kind of moment. As one reviewer said, older lady with glasses, is not the best one to work with. She'll look at your drawing, tell you that it doesn't make sense and make do whatever she feels is right. The frustration doesn't stop there, we asked her to give us the difference in price from what we want to what she is trying to give us, and that's when her "I don't really want to be here" attitude comes in. There may or may not be a language barrier, but when we pressed harder, she forwards us to the owner, whom was a more communicable person. Unfortunately, the wrong items were already put on the order and going from someone that frustrating to someone on the opposite end of that spectrum, we overlooked the wrong sized cabinets that were handed off. After taking it home and putting it in, did we realize. We called to see what can be done, and they want a 25% restocking fee. Now here, depending on which side of the fence you are looking at the problem, can be up for debate. Yes, we were wrong for overlooking the size of the cabinet after they have printed us the cabinet list, but had the older lady just gave us what we asked for instead of selling us something else, would all of this had been avoided? So we suggested, since we both messed up, we will pay the restock fee of the upper cabinets but not the lower cabinets, because fundamentally, that's not what we even came close to wanted. Owner tells us, we gave you the list to look over, you did and ok'd it. End of story. She did however offer other "cheaper" solutions, such as use fillers to expand the side, or add another smaller cabinet. But in the end will not exchange the cabinet out to use without the restock fee. Fine, what are the prices for the cabinets that we need vs the cabinet that we got, we asked. To be honest this was slightly sneaky on my behalf. I had already gotten the price from the girl that answered the phone earlier. The price the owner gave was much higher than what the girl gave... So there you have it, the prices are great usually the first time, OK the second time, and when they think they have you, it's downright robbery. Further I dare you shop up and down Washington, and you'll find cheaper prices can be had especially if you know the styles you want. It possible that it's human nature to be greedy but one should never think they don't have other options. read more

Well three days later I'm still waiting for them to come and finish the job. Three phone calls and I'm still waiting. I live in the neighborhood and find this location convenient. Today, I experienced a sexist comment from the manager/male owner of the store. First, everytime I asked him a question he seemed bothered. So on my second trip I asked for bull nose tile. I am a DIY person. When I asked for clarity about a product he told me to go ask my contractor. When I told him that I was the contractor then he told me to go ask myself. How rude and sexist. I will not buy from them ever again nor will recommend. In fact, I will go out of my way to discourage anyone looking to buy from them. read more

I had an excellent experience at Washington Brothers. My cabinets came in in beautiful condition and they even brought them into my house. Just remember that they do curbside delivery and if they're kind enough to bring them in to your house make sure you tip them. I highly recommend them. The staff is excellent. read more
