Such a beautiful place to sit next to the Sugar River with friends or by yourself. I am not proud to say this, but I incredibly picky when it comes to coffee. Over the past two years I've been blessed enough to have traveled all over the world; Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Australia, New Zealand, Greece. The list goes on and on. Yet, the best cappuccinos I've tasted are at the Bend. I find myself finding reasons to go to Sunapee, so I can stop at The Bend. The food is delicious and made with care & pride. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat.
