It's a small but clean and well-maintained park with a pleasant creek running through it. The William R. Rowland Ranch House made this park historic. My daughters used to go to the playground often when they were young. The playground is suitable for young children, and there is a walking path along the creek. We always take our dog for a walk there. The park is ideal for small family gatherings and it has picnic tables and barbeque areas but it is restricted for Walnut residents. His family was connected to Rowland Heights. The ranch house was part of 29,000 acres of land he inherited from his father John in 1871. The park has an amble playground for the kids and a huge covered patio bbq area. The patio is covered by a 175 year old Wisteria tree. I'll have to come back in the spring to see it in bloom.

I also visit Chino for dining and shopping at Chino Spectrum, Chino Town Center, and Chino Marketplace. So many restaurant and store choices! Its neighboring cities are Chino Hills, Pomona, Montclair, and Ontario. Closest freeway/highway are CA-60 and CA-71. When I think of Chino, I think of cows. I don't know why. Maybe because of the farmlands that are nestled in the area. It doesn't stink like it does near Eastvale sometimes. Cows may have left, but the manure still remains below the ground. Trust me they are still there LOL. I actually like Chino despite of its traffic congestion sometimes. It's like any other city with the hustle and bustle, right?

I always find the history of these very fascinating, especially with August Leimbach, the sculptor of all of them, being from my home city of St. Louis. This is at the busy intersection of Euclid and Foothill Boulevards. If I'm not mistaken, it connects to a walking trail. If you want to stop and get out and check out the statue, just park at the nearby McDonald's. This is the easternmost of all twelve of them.

It's so beautiful as you can see the many trees that provide great shade while walking and it's also very cool to see the expensive homes on both sides of the street. If I lived closer, I would walk on it every day. My most favorite walk up this trail was the day that two of my friends and I started walking this whole trail from Vons on Foothill and Euclid and we finished our walk all the way up into the mountains until Mount Baldy Restaurant. It was about a 10.5 mile walk one way! Oh what a day it was!!!

Care Community Resource Center in Pomona for CPR classes, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Although the class was full, they were still accepting walk-ins. When I arrived, two workers at the front desk were focused on their computers. I tried to get their attention but was completely ignored, so I stood back patiently, waiting to be acknowledged. Then someone who arrived after me walked right up and was helped immediately. Eventually, I was called up and explained what had happened. The staff member brushed it off like it didn't matter and gave me the impression that I'd still be able to join the class--so I didn't press the issue. But when they started allowing walk-ins around 12:15, that same woman who cut in front of me was the last person admitted. She was noticeably younger than me and appeared to be the same race as the staff members who ignored me. That only made the situation feel more unfair and left me wondering whether I was overlooked because of my age and race. I told the staff how unfair that was, especially since I had clearly arrived before her. Again, I was dismissed. I don't expect special treatment--but I do expect fairness and respect, and I received neither. To make things worse, the parking situation was terrible--very limited spaces. Overall, this experience left me feeling frustrated, disrespected, and disappointed in L.A. Care's customer service. I sincerely hope they take these concerns seriously and work toward providing more equitable and respectful service for everyone.

I thought it would be busier so close to the holidays but it actually wasn't too bad. We even found parking right across the street from the entrance. There's also a park right next door too. It's free to enter with tractor rides and petting zoo costing $3 each. The pumpkins were on the pricier side but they did have a good variety of different kinds. I will be back next fall for the pumpking patch again. I also want to come back at other times and check out orange picking and their vendor markets.

The space is a large, open area with a 100-person occupancy - making it a great option for bigger gatherings. Tables and chairs are included with the rental + staff handles the setup and breakdown which was a huge convenience. Tablecloths are not provided, so you'll need to bring your own if you want them. The rental rates are phenomenal, especially for an air-conditioned space during the summer heat. We did run into a couple of minor hiccups - the Bluetooth connection wasn't working initially, but several staff members came by to troubleshoot and thankfully we were able to get it working. Unfortunately, the sink also backed up at the beginning of our event while we were washing hands, so we weren't able to use it for the remainder of the event. Despite those small issues, I would absolutely rent this space again. The combination of the affordable price, spacious layout, included amenities, and overall ease of the rental process makes it a great value for hosting an event.
