I don't care about paying the 100 dollars, but the way we got the third degree and got scolded like a bunch of deadbeats was terrible by their office manager!! So very bad manners!! There's way too many other qualified doctors,to be treated this way!! Rude nasty person!

Dr. Rairigh's entire staff was courteous and professional, and accommodated our emergency visit. Over three visits in a week's time, Dr. Rairigh expertly corrected a botched procedure from our hometown oral surgeon. He set up a plan to install an implant using some pretty advanced techniques, including a 3D-printed drill guide custom-fit to my wife's teeth. He even took the time to show me the 3D printer in action in his office! (I was even able to get a cleaning during our visit! His hygienist, Laurie, is the best. My teeth felt cleaner than ever, and she was thorough and efficient. She also chatted with me as if we were old friends, calmly distracting me throughout the cleaning. Dr. Rairigh then came in to look at my x-rays and poke around my teeth. I wasn't left waiting in the chair for long at all, and Dr. Rairigh was gentle and informative.) We're setting up our entire family of five with this practice, and cleanings will now be a part of our visits to the area!

Reply To Heartland Dental LLC / Cherry Way Dental's Response…read more When Will Cherry Way Dental Do the Right Thing? Please take accountability and Issue My Reimbursement. Heartland Dental: My request is and has always been that you submit my reimbursement. The reimbursement will provide the funds necessary so that I am able to seek adequate dental care. My request is more than reasonable given my pain & suffering due to the dental malpractice, negligence and substandard care at the hands of Dr. Rebecca Pounds and Cherry Way Dental. I experienced stress-related hair loss due to the excruciating nerve pain in my tooth. I experienced financial loss due to the weeks that I could not sleep and was unable to function from the debilitating dental pain. My teeth shifted and started crowding due to the multiple ill-fitting temporary and permanent crown procedures at Cherry Way Dental. This has all had a serious impact on my livelihood. The amount of time and energy required to address these issues has been exhausting and completely avoidable. As I already stated in my original review, I made repeated efforts to resolve this matter professionally and respectfully. I called the number provided (412-261-2500), sent emails, and attempted multiple times to communicate directly with your office. Unfortunately, I was met with little compassion and no meaningful resolution. Accountability means taking action. At this point, accountability is measured by what you do next, not by what you say publicly. If Heartland Dental truly intends to demonstrate "improvements and growth," then the appropriate next step is clear: Reimburse me so I can move forward with receiving adequate dental care elsewhere.

Their hygienist had what my new dentist's office "a heavy hand" and my mouth would ache for days after cleanings. She would also argue and play gatekeeper to services rather than investigate when I would mentioned spots where work had been done elsewhere seemed not right and was bothering me. Under one of those crowns, my new dentist found a significant amount of decay down the entire tooth and extending below the gum line to the bone; the correction was much more involved than if the folks at Cherry Way Dental had bothered to listen during the 3 years I was a patient there. I would offer a dual rating if possible, but because its not, I give their practice the lowest rating possible.

I recently had a very unsettling experience at Kerr and feel it's important to share. Initially,…read morethere was a miscommunication regarding my first appointment, which I take full responsibility for. The office kindly rescheduled me, and I made sure to call ahead to confirm. However, from the moment I spoke with the receptionist, Kristen, I was met with rudeness and hostility. Upon arrival, Kristen seemed frustrated that I hadn't completed new patient paperwork, despite my understanding that she would be sending it to me. She stated that I was expected to download and complete it beforehand, which I was happy to do had I been clearly informed. She then aggressively placed the paperwork on the counter, creating an environment that felt far from welcoming--especially concerning given that this practice treats pediatric patients as well. As I filled out most of the paperwork, Kristen abruptly demanded the first sheet and became visibly upset when I didn't have certain information related to my wife. She continued to berate me in front of other patients, making the entire situation unnecessarily uncomfortable and unprofessional. At that point, I calmly stated that I didn't feel this was the right fit for me and prepared to leave. Realizing my personal information was still on the paperwork, I turned back to request it. Kristen initially ignored me, forcing me to go beyond the hallway to get her attention. When she finally acknowledged me, she became even more aggressive, to the point where she physically swung at me. I was in shock and asked her if she had actually just done that. She then accused me of intimidating her--even though I had remained still and composed throughout. At this point, Dr. Tim Kerr came out, visibly concerned. I explained the situation while Kristen continued to yell from the background, attempting to justify her behavior. While Dr. Kerr seemed like a decent person, he didn't appear particularly alarmed by what had just transpired. He suggested we "start over," but given the hostile environment, I made it clear that I would never feel comfortable receiving care there. After returning home, I did some further research and found another review from a patient who had an equally terrible experience with Kristen. This was disappointing, considering Dr. Kerr made it seem like my experience was an anomaly. It's clear that this receptionist lacks the professionalism and customer service skills necessary to be the first point of contact at a medical practice. She does not represent the values that a patient-facing role requires, and her behavior is completely unacceptable for a business that serves families and children. Unfortunately, my experience was so unsettling that I wouldn't recommend this practice to others. No patient should ever feel berated or unsafe when seeking medical care. These could be the best dentists in the world; I'm not willing to take the chance if this is what they deem acceptable for the first person who greats you as you walk in.
