The care was great, however billing is a nightmare. I was sent a text message about what I should expect to pay for my imaging prior to services.I paid in full the days of my imaging, 3 different images on 3 different days. Today I get a text message from a collection agency saying I have a balance that was unpaid and they need to collect it. I am beyond furious as I was never sent an invoice, email, text message, nothing stating I owed anything further after they billed my insurance. They clearly had my phone number to text me prior to services and my address to send the statement to. It is very frustrating. read more

Absolutely do not use Washington Radiology. I had a mammogram there in November 2024 and paid my portion while insurance covered the rest. Despite this, I've been receiving a $2,000 bill every month since. Each time I manage to reach someone in billing, I'm told it's a mistake, and they apologize and assure me it will be resolved. Yet here we are, and now the bill has gone to collections. I've been told multiple times that a supervisor will call me back, but no one is ever available, and no one follows through. It has been incredibly frustrating and nearly impossible to get this resolved. It's unfortunate because the actual staff who administered the mammogram were very professional and friendly. read more

Had a service April 2025. The medical care we received was good but the billing department has been an abject nightmare. I was told I had to pay upfront on the day of service, so I did. I was told that was the total I would have to pay, so I considered the cost covered. But I hadnt received anything applied to my deductible by July, so I started calling Optum and was told there was no account set up under the patient name. It took me 5 calls just to get the medical office and the billing office agreeing a service was even done on the patient and that she existed and had been in their office. I have a list of phone calls and emails showing the many hours I have had to spend trying to 1) get a billing account set up 4 months after the medical service so costs could be applied to my deductible 2) asking why I was receiving more bills when I was told the amount I had to pay the day of the service would be my total bill. I have now been told three times that my bills are paid, but then I get another in the mail. I will never, ever use this company again. Terrible, just terrible and inept at billing and communicating accurate information. read more

Would rate lower if I could. No help in billing department. Office made a huge mistake $1703.00. My insurance company told them they were out of network and they told me my insurance would pay and proceeded to send me the bill at instance company rate after the X-ray. Now billing wants the $ and will not even lower it to self pay. Although it is there mistake and they should absorb the bill. The care by radiologist was good. read more

I've had a procedure done back in January. I paid my estimated copay at time of service. The insurance company processed the claim 30 days later. We're going into May soon and the billing office has had an automated message for 2+ months that their system are down. The front desk can't help either. This is JOKE!!! Had a MRI appointment for my shoulder. With insurance they wanted payment up front. Once completed they said the results would be to my doctor in 2 days. My appointment was 4 days later and I had to sit there waiting for the results to be read (2 hours). The doctors office called twice for the results and both times were hung up on. Now I have to wait another 6 days for an appointment. Extremely disappointed that this is the way business is conducted. read more

My Dr. referred me to this location and asked me to call them to set up an appointment. I called and told the person who answered that I had a referral order. She told me that they would wait for the Dr. to send the referral request. 3 days went by and called again she said that they did not have the referral. I called my Dr. and he said he had already sent it and was going to send it again. Waited until the following week and no one from Progressive Rad. call me. I called the 3rd time and I was told that they did not have it and asked me if I had a referral form. I told them I had it since the 1rst time I called. They told me that that is what they needed and to email it to them. She gave the email address without the ending. I asked for the ending and she said "All emails have the same ending of '.com'" which is not true. In summary, I will never go to them again. Some of them are rude and treat people like they are doing them a favor. read more

I was sent to the Progressive radiology for an MRI. I had already been to the one down in Germantown but was sent to this location since they have an open MRI as I am very claustrophobic. The person doing the test was wonderful even in learning of my issues with needles as well because of them needing the contrast. It was the front end staff that really irritated me, I don't know if they didn't see me waiting in the lobby or cared but were making snide comments about a large sized patient coming in at a later date. It was very unprofessional at best I would have commented if I hadn't been waiting for my MRI to begin. That's why I am saying it here. The place good except for that and the fact that we told them at the beginning that I needed the open MRI in the first place. read more

Misty was the person that did my MRI. She had no bedside manners. She was rude and had no patience. I have a terrible back and couldn't get up after my MRI. I asked for a rail to hold on to. She said she didn't have any and said she could not help me. But, I needed to get up right away. No one explained anything to me before my session started. The noise could have been explained so it wouldn't be so scary. I will not go there again. Go somewhere else before you give your money to this place. read more

Friendly. Polite. Respective and timely. A highly recommended place to have an MRI done. Modern equipment. Front office staff friendly. Technician was informative and kept me posted on the MRI machine functions as they occurred. read more

Great staff. I was missing some information , they were able to get it quickly so I could been seen . The staff is friendly and professional. The radiologist was efficient allowing me to get in and out without rushing. read more

This office is not handicap assessable, you can get in the main building. Forget getting into the Progressive Radiology Suite 100, the staff will sit at the front desk and watch you try and open the door while trying to wheel yourself into the office. Then they say it's the building owners fault, they don't have a handicap door. How about helping your clients. Stay away from this business no compassion. read more
