I had tried for about a year to get someone out to fix the damaged stack with no luck, called one of the bigger outfits in Wasilla after getting the inspectors report - they said it would be at least 3 weeks and recommended Legacy. Tyler was quick to respond and said he should be able to fit in the small job pretty quickly. I met him at the house a couple days later - he could not have been easier to deal with , he had already provided a fair bid, he quickly got the job done and he had added some extra snow stops behind the repaired pipe to prevent future damage at no extra cost and did a quick overall roof inspection as well & provided pictures of the repairs. I feel fortunate we were able to finally get a roofer on site - a bonus that they did a great job for a fair price and they were so easy to deal with

What a headache to deal with byler construction. None of their timelines are correct. Had me…read moreschedule inspection with nothing complete, not hooked up to utilities, house had debris all over the inside, sink holes on the property from them burying trash/debris and downed trees all over property. Inside nothing is done with care... counters show seams all over, outlets stop working and dont reset, control boxes are laying on the ground in the crawlspace in standing water not supported and with conductors showing, none of the receptacles match the prints, conductors chafing on K.O. holes (horrible electricians, I am a commercial electrician and their work is unacceptable, electrician should be fired). They took numerous short cuts including leaving standing water in the crawl space, concrete walls are soaked that they covered up with insulation. Not only are they not wanting to fix their mistakes, they do not hold up to their end of the contract. They promise D1 gravel driveway with base layer and top layer and provided a dirt driveway calling it complete... same one a week earlier that had 8 inch ruts in from their trucks that they just compacted down again. They do not hold up their end of the agreement, not sure how they are still in business. They always want to "come back after closing" well like other reviews say... they won't come back and their handshake means nothing, or a contract for that matter when they cut corners and call things complete to save money. I gave them a chance even after seeing their horrible reviews and was a big mistake. Their good reviews come from friends and family or their selling agent for example ofcourse leaves a perfect review. Take your business elsewhere, these people are not trustworthy and do not make things right... probably the worst contractor in the valley. I understand mistakes happen but they will not fix them or abide by the contract and give you what's promised.

No contractor is perfect but I assure you that Byler Contracting is not in the slightest what you have stated. I have had nothing but fantastic experience with them. Any issue that I have ever had, they took care of it. Truth be told, at times, it has taken them awhile but they kept me posted on the progress and it got done. Yelp should be utilized for genuine reviews. Good or bad. People use these to determine if they want to support that business and is really shows your character when you deliberately post a dishonest review. You have a problem with Byler and feel the need to share that, fine but be HONEST about it. Instead you went out of your way to fabricate a bunch of BS. That is straight up vindictive. I am not a friend or family of Byler Contracting.. I am a person that has had a really good experience with this company, just happen to know a lot of people and felt that it was the right thing to do to call Trevor out on his ridiculous lie filled review. Not only did he take all our information over the phone, he provided us with a timeline of when we could expect him to take a look at our house. He was able to come to our house a few days earlier than anticipated, he was professional, and he immediately got to work on our roof. After his inspection he found that the roof leak was due to the flashing around an exhaust pipe not being sealed properly. Where other contractors might have taken advantage of such a situation by claiming more damage repairs were needed, Hayden corrected our problem at no charge to us. We cannot express how much we appreciated his professionalism and honesty. We will definitely give Spartan Roofing any work we may have in the future, and we highly recommend them.
