Oh boy, you have hit the freakin' jackpot, baby! If you're wicked lucky and your stars are all in alignment, a household hazardous waste event is going on where you can rid your garage of all those nasty chemicals you've been stockpiling for years before your property is declared a Superfund site. By jiminy, this landfill also boasts what is probably the nicest vantage point of any other landfill in the country, with a picturesque view of the Sakonnet River and Narragansett Bay to the west. Birdwatchers rejoice with an abundance of Larus canus and Cathartes aura to photograph. Why anyone in their right mind would come to a landfill to enjoy the ocean view and fauna is beyond me, but if that's seriously your thing, then you have just found your own personal little nirvana here in the south end of Tiveryon. Hey, I don't judge...well maybe. But then again, who the hell goes on Yelp and writes reviews of the local dump? Probably the same kind of person who would read such a thing. ;)

So instead of them automatically picking up to five bags a week, they only pick-up once a month if you make an appointment. Their website is horrible, as if they want to make arranging the yard waste pick-up as difficult as possible, so it is insult to injury. In addition, even though you can have the yard waste pick-up arranged for their specific, once-a-month date, your bagged yard waste can sit in front of your home for several days later, because they apparently can't keep up to the demands of their growth or new policy. In their defense, the change in their yard waste pick-up policy was probably a causality of the implementation of their now fully-automated trucks, but since it has imposed an additional burden (once a month pick-up, vice weekly) on their customers, they should make the scheduling easy, vice the convoluted, complicated and nearly impossible manner that currently exists.

So I waited 51 minutes just to be told OK I will not transfer you back into the black hole of waiting yet again!!! Terrible service. They are doing this intentionally to prevent you from cancelling your service expecting that a customer will hang up versus waiting this long. And then the price doubles for this lackluster garbage pickup service where I regularly have to either pick up trash on my lawn that fell out when they were dumping it into their truck or pick up my cans that look like they have been thrown back into my drive way! I guess I will be going back to the town Transfer Station. Let me see Wastemanagement, I can pay you now $800 a year or pay my transfer station $210 for the same year and just spend an extra 20 minutes on Sat to dump my own trash. They clearly did not read the dry cleaning instructions on the tag so they stained the top of the pants. We had to bring them back three times to try and get them to fix them and they could not fix them. No apology or refund. Very disappointing. Sad to say but I would not trust these dry cleaners with any of my clothing items.
